If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in on June 22, 2022 for a urinalysis. The results should take 3 business days to come. I called the number 7 times in 5 days and each time the customer service representative told me that the results were not in and she would send a message to the Dr. After 3-4 tries, I finally got connected to the Dr.'s Medical Assistant who admitted the sample was lost. This was now 8 days after the original one. I could have come in sooner to redo the test but instead they gave me the run around and were not upfront and honest. I am waiting for results that warrant possible medication. This is now 8 days without possible medication. I went back in on Friday July 1, 2022 to redo the sample. It is now Wednesday and now results from the second sample. Christina the customer service representative was extremely rude to me and told me that I need to contact Lab corp. Not one person told me this prior. Why do I have to contact them when Pearlman are the ones who hand off the samples to them? This was never communicated to me. I have sent multiple messages to the Dr. with no response and Christina literally put me on hold while I was filing a formal complaint with her. Today marks 14 days with no lab results and 0 communication from the Dr. I guess they don't care if samples get lost and people are need of possible medication that is dire to get. I have spent so much time with this matter and I feel as though no one is helping me or advocating for me to find it and get the results. Why did I pay my copay?

I do not write reviews as a practice, however, I was seriously injured from an attack in August this year. I was stabbed and my ribs were broken while trying to get free from the insane person who randomly chose to hurt me. This clinic has been nothing but supportive caring and kind to me since day one. Doctor Kenneth Ortiz is my primary care doctor. I have only been seeing this doctors office since August 2019. I dont have the words to describe how well I have been treated not only on a professional level but treated as if I were family every visit every call and every message response from office staff to Doctor Ortiz. Yesterday, I made an appointment to follow up on some medical issues I was experiencing and had the absolute PLEASURE of meeting Dr. Bhalrhu. Amazing doctor, caring informative professional and just plain wonderful. I will NEVER choose another doctors office in San Diego. I feel so fortunate and am very grateful to have these folks in my life.

Jorge was my first human contact, he is professional, patient and thorough. He is also a very gentle phlebotomist! Dr. Kirsten Haring is my favorite doctor. She truly cares about her patients. She examines and listens carefully and together we decide on a path to my best health, I left happy and confident. The location can be tricky the first time, you may want to give yourself a little extra time downtown navigating traffic, one way streets and tall buildings. I have lived in SD all my life and I still get a little frazzled. Its quite simple once you've been there. Ask questions, its important and your physician won't mind. After readying the description on the website, I was concerned that I would be walking into a crowded clinic, emergency room type of environment, I was very pleasantly surprised! I left feeling happy and confident in our plan. I was with Scripps for 20+ years, I am glad I explored other options.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I made an appointment with the downtown San Diego location to get my fmla form filled out for my job. The doctor that I spoke to at the time told me that she was aware and knew about fmla. Within the appointment I reiterated the purpose of my appointment and still the doctor never asked me any questions on my fmla form, never gave me a check up pertaining to my appointment. Long story short the doctor never filled out my form which was needed for work, and during a conversation over the phone she stated that she didn't know what fmla was and that she's sorry but she isn't responsible for booking the appointments. PLEASE DO NOT go to this urgent care.  The doctor is inexperienced, aloof, and unprofessional; their equipments are faulty,  and they are extremely expensive for shitty service. or lack of service that they provide.

These people nickel and dime you and don't do what they say. I saw Dr. Arzoo Sidiqi and felt rushed and unheard every appointment. This was later proven true as she said she would refer me to oncology once my records came in. 9 months later no referral (too late now I already switched clinics). Additionally, she ordered X-Rays of my spine which showed a severe scoliosis. She referred me to orthopedic surgery which wouldn't even talk to me without a CT scan done. So I messaged her. And she said despite having the X-Rays already proving Scoliosis I would need to come in for her to see my back for herself before she ordered the CT scan. Like I said nickel and diming as that was completely unnecessary she already had the proof in front of her. Altogether the worst primary care I have ever had. If your case has any complexity avoid at all costs.

Wasted valuable time which I took off work. I scheduled an appointment specifying that I am currently traveling and need a specific medicine prescribed. I waited three days only to hear from Dr. Haring that she would not prescribe that type of medicine as a matter of principle. I respect her choice, but why wasn’t this told me on the phone? Also, Dr.Haring’s attitude towards me as if I’m below her was unacceptable! It hasn’t stopped here. The assistants at the reception told me they couldn’t refund my money because I already saw the provider!! In a normal world, this is called a SCAM. There is more - the receptionist told me she validated my parking ticket twice, but of course it wasn’t validated so I had to pay a lavish parking fee to get the worst mistreatment I received as a customer/patient/human being in my whole life! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I have had many issues with Perlman Clinic, the most recent one being that they continuously send all of my referrals to the wrong carriers for 3 months!! So all of my urgent specialist appointments were canceled on me and after trying every possible way to update it - emailing in my ID card, adding it in mychart, showing it in person and calling their clinics daily they continue to get it wrong and not help me get my appointments scheduled. I can't believe how hard it is to update my ID from Blue Shield to Anthem Blue Cross but they are not capable of helping after me repeatedly trying every avenue to get this resolved so I can improve my health! I do not recommend this chain of clinics and two of my three doctors quit so there is no consistency or warning.

Got billed a crazy amount after the doctor told me come back in 2 weeks for my annual after just a talk and blood work because according to her it would be too much for me. I have a PPO insurance and what would be “free” they are charging me for a $350 plus after my insurance. The doctor never prepared my prescription properly and it took months to have that part resolved, not until she was on leave and her substitute got into my paperwork to fix the problem. Awful communication between front desk, doctor and patient. If you want to have a surprise bill and a so so doctor, you are gonna be ok. I was advised by my insurance that they would have covered everything, but is the way the clinic is using to bill the insurance that is not professional.

This place used to have some solid people working there up until recently. If you schedule an appointment, be prepared to wait 20+ minutes beyond your appointment time to see someone. When you do finally see a doctor, they'll template match and or just speed through the appointment in general. Dealing w/any number of the front desk workers is nightmare level. I've had to call insurance twice to have them call this place and get them to bill the correct codes in 2 weeks. Even if you're not late, they'll attempt to reschedule you if not 10 minutes early to the appointment (reminder you'll wait another 20+ minutes beyond your actual time to even see a doctor). Real poor experience overall, which sucks since it used to be solid.

Had 5th or 6th spider bite and my right arm was double the size of my left so my co-workers scared me enough to go in and get it checked out (lol). Saw this clinic was near where I worked Downtown, I have Kaiser so they didn't accept my insurance but the front desk staff was super upfront about it and I didn't mind paying out of pocket for the convenience & quickness. They were able to get me in as a new patient and seen within literally 15 minutes. The PA, Andrea was super friendly & nice as well as the front office staff! I was in and out w/ meds & prescriptions in about 30 min in total. Highly recommend for quick visits and awesome patient care! ⚡️

I highly recommend PA Devon Lewis for your primary or urgent health care needs. She has great energy and is attentive, knowledgable, professional, thorough, and excellent at communicating her thought process and what's happening with you. I've seen her for several urgent health concerns and I always leave feeling empowered and really cared for. Thank you, also, to the staff who always process me efficiently and courteously. Parking is validated/free and in the same building, so it's always easy to get in and out of there in no time. It's easy to find the clinic with little to no traffic in the part of downtown it's in.

This place is very rough around the edges and feels like a free clinic rather than a doctor's office. Shabby office and and shabby location. Employees were ALL eating when I was there, that was unprofessional. I tried seeing a new doctor (Sadiqi) but she treated me like a fool and belittled me. I so wanted to like this place. I wish I knew where the nice clinics and doctors are in SD, I would pay anything for quality. Oh and they also did not bill my insurance properly, I had to spend time fixing a mess they made by screwing up the billing. The insurance company confirmed it was Perlman Clinic's fault.

Got to the door 5 minutes after my appointment time due to traffic and rode closures in the area. I had mapped it and there was no mention of the closures so thought I was fine. As the door opened the lady immediately said “are you my 4:40? Okay well we will have to reschedule you” I could not believe that they would not accept me. Her reasoning behind that was she would still have to do the vitals. I think she was just very lazy. This was not a good first impression and I will not be going back to this office to see Andrea Ramirez unless they have more understanding and compassionate staff.

Went in Sept 2022 as a new patient. I accidentally went on the wrong day, but the front desk woman said another Nurse Practitioner was available to meet with me if I was okay with seeing a male instead of the female Physicians Assistant I originally had my appointment with. I was fine with it and met with Manuel Morena, NP. He was very thorough, answered all my questions and was very kind. I was able to get my Flu and Tetanus shots and bloodwork done very quickly and was out of there in an hour. Parking was validated too, which was helpful!

P.A. Ramirez and another doctor refused to listen to me about a domestic violence situation, allowed the involvement of this person behind my back, refused proper medical care and bullied me out of the office when I tried to work the situation out. These are all tactics of my abuser. They didn’t recognize the abuse and went along with my abusers requests. This is perhaps why so many women don’t receive proper medical attention, as men do, even leading to death, because doctors listen to women’s abusers instead of the women themselves.

My son had a sharp pain in his throat, so we walked into Perlman clinic. There were four staff members at the front desk, two physicians in the clinic, and no patients in site. Instead of seeing my son, one of the female doctors came out to the waiting room to tell us that she could only see him virtually. Wait…what!? My son is standing in front of you, and rather than taking five minutes to see him now (the sign says urgent care, after all), you send us home to call you back from a computer!? You can’t be serious!!!

I just moved to San Diego and was nervous about having to set up an appointment with a GP. I’ve never had an HMO that required referrals for everything, so I didn’t know what to expect. My experience at the Perlman Clinic was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was friendly and kind, the Nurse Pracitioner, Devin Lewis, was easy to talk with, a good listener, kind, professional and helpful. I left feeling good about my care and grateful to have found a clinic that I could trust.

Dr Carly was Absolutely professional, very easy to talk to and took the utmost care while seeing with me during my appointment. She listened thoroughly and was very compassionate. I haven't had the opportunity to have many experiences like this at Perlman clinic. Many of the PAs have horrible additudes, are quick to shoo you out of their office and speak to you like every question you have is a stupid one. If you book an appointment here ask fit Carly, she's a wonderful professional.

Terrible communication from reception. They canceled my appointment, tried to call me and when they couldn't connect with me via phone just gave up and let me waste 1.5h of my time driving all the way downtown. Can't reach a patient by phone? Try one of the multiple other options available: email, text, mychart direct message. This isn't the 1960s, and reception has literally one job to successfully communicate with patients.

As a veteran I was unable to see my primary care doc for an extremely painful ear infection for a few days but was told under the Mission Act I could use private urgent cares and found this clinic close to my house. It was super easy to check in I was seen within minutes and had a prescription with diagnosis in less than a half hour. Doc and everyone in the clinic was very nice and very helpful. Highly recommend

everyone is so friendly & welcoming, everyone made sure i understood everything and they offer multiple other services in the building (pap smears + contraception, psychiatry, psychotherapy) and Dr Pickering told me absolutely everything i needed to know! they also fit me in within 1 week to establish care and i couldn't be happier that i chose them! definitely recommend

The staff was friendly and professional from the moment I entered. After a quick check of my vitals the Dr. saw and examined my ankle. I was in and out and on my way before I knew it. the reason for my visit was minor so maybe that's why my visit was so brief but in all I can't say enough good things about the clinic. I would /will recommend them to others.

Dr. Uri Geffen at Perlman Clinic is a wonderful doctor. He's very personable n very thorough. Unlike most doctors he listens to what you're saying. I went in for an exam n he went thru the whole list, filled my meds, scheduled blood tests n referrals. The staff member who assisted was also great! It seemed like a lot of fun at the appointment. I was visiting from out of town and got sick . I called to see if the urgent care took my insurance! The guy in the phone was so helpful he helped me choose a clinic by my hotel. I got to the clinic the girls were nice and so was the doctor!! They told me where the closest pharmacy was!! Thank you for making my experience quick and easy!!

Dr. Bahlehu had her nurse do a yearly wellness check or assessment to update my current health status. Dr. Bhalrhu made some referrals for further exam to be done on my health and well being. It went quite well at the Perlman clinic located in downtown San Diego. I hope to continue to visit with this office again soon

I am so happy that Perlman Clinic has opened up a location in DT San Diego. I went here today and I was pleased that it felt the same as the other locations I have been to. Super clean, always helpful/friendly staff and they were able to take as a walk in. I highly recommend this doctors office and love the new space!

Always have rewarding visits to your C St. clinic in San Diego. Absolutely trust Dr. Bahlrhu with my fairly challenging overall health needs (I've had to have a Urostomy this year). I had not intended to go to this clinic - was trying to go to the La Jolla one since it is closer to home but I may stay at this one because if the experience!

Dr Haring is hands down the best physician I've ever had the pleasure of being seen by. Dr Haring shows a level of kindness, and compassion that is unparalleled in any treatment I've received. I only wish that everyone could have the opportunity to be treated by someone as wonderful as she is.

Congrats on opening downtown! Perlman Clinic has been my primary for the last 5 years... can't say enough about all the providers that have taken care of me. The fact that they validate parking at this location is awesome (as a person who lives here, it's usually hard to get parking downtown).

My appointment today was with Devon Lewis. I enjoyed the visit she listened to my concerns, answered my questions, gave me explanations when asked and overall did a very good job. If I receive my referrals promptly I will be very happy. Supporting staff was also kind and courteous.

This was the first time I attended this facility and I found it to be a very positive experience. Everyone I dealt with was professional and very kind. I felt cared for and left feeling optimistic about the care and guidance I received. I would definitely return for future care.

Was able to get a same day appointment. They were exactly on-time. Friendly and helpful desk staff and the PA was great, answered all my questions and seemed very knowledgeable. Place was clean and tidy. They didn't try to upset me either.

My experience with Perlman clinic. First they said they detected something, then they said they didn't, and would refer me to a urologist, waited a week, never got a call, had to call them back and they said they don't take VA Healthcare.

My PCP Dr. Puneet Bhalrhu was kind, thorough and asked me questions regarding my needs for the appointment. She is a very approachable doctor. Would highly recommend other patients to this provider.
