Fantastic park for all users. It has toilet facilities - only available on certain days when the park staff are on duty - and it is disabled friendly. The parking areas can get very busy outside the building with the toilet and information centre, with only one space for disabled parking but there is an overflow that offers plenty of parking spaces to the rear. This park has a lovely moat with ducks and swans, with environmental gardens dotted around. Paths will take you to various areas of the park but one very short walk gives access to the bridge over the river Tame, which is breath taking. This park is worth a visit.

WOW…. An absolute dream to come to. Clean, beautiful and friendly. Community volunteers who are kind and caring. Was made to feel safe and at ease straight away. I live opposite Witton Lakes Park which is abusive, dirty and the volunteers it feels are just feathering their own empire. Here it’s done for everyone because these people actually demonstrate they care. It’s not just for medals here, it’s passion and several miles from my home. I would rather pollute the planet and feel safe than try any longer in my local park. Keep up the efforts because it’s huge but beautiful. Thank you

I love my local park. It's a great place for walking running/cycling, or just relaxing on a bench. There's a nice little children's play area and an outdoor gym too. The grounds have always been well maintained by Park Rangers as well as local volunteers who have helped keep it tidy for years. Sadly, some people who visit still don't know what a bin is! If you're reading this post, please be considerate of others and the wildlife by taking your rubbish home with you and recycling. Green spaces are a privilege to have in the city. Let's all do our bit to keep them looking good.

I think I've found my new favourite park in Birmingham! Yes, it's a bit of a drive from where I live, but to be able to walk in peaceful and beautiful surroundings is well worth it. Lots of very good paths and benches for when you need a rest, paths very wide and flat, which is great for me as I can walk slowly round, lots of places for my Westie to explore as well and I think I've only walked round a bit of it. Parking is good, spaces just inside the park or a car park a bit further up the path. I would genuinely recommend this park, both me and my Westie love it!

Great open space for walking, gardens, children's play area and outside gym. There is a moat which is home to lots of ducks and geese. Popular with local residents. Car park and toilets. At the moment the trees are in blossom and lots of bluebells so very pretty a very nice place for a lovely walk.

As my late Nan's house, backed onto the park, we spent many happy years visiting the area, and as my Dad grew up in the house, he shares many happy memories of this park too. As we live in Worcestershire, we're obviously more fortunate than most, to have the countryside on our doorstep. I have, however, never forgotten, how lovely it was, to be able to appreciate this park at all. As being in Birmingham, which is so built up, it's good that we still even have a park at all. Long may it reign!

It's just so amazing , see the ducks and seagulls walking , and swimming in the lake Then you have a bridge you can walk over and watch the ducks ,walk down several lanes and see trees, little logs where you can have a sit down fir a bit ... Also walk down more paths and see lots of trees , bushes,see few benches you can sit on.listen to all the birds chatting away in trees ...plus little river flowing through, its just amazing Thanks for this nice Nature & Wildlife Park

This park is a hidden gem. Such a beautiful place. You can walk by the river, or feed the ducks at the Victorian moat, walk by the brook down a fantastic path, or cut through the trees it truly is a magnificent place, the kids can play on the park, the dog walkers are all friendly, it has a great community spirit. The carp in the moat are a sight to behold, the resident swans and geese arent shy! .... And you might even see a sausage dog called Olive sniffing around!

Very large park where you can go for a picnic or just lie down and enjoy the quiet. There's a children's playground, a large moat around a small island with ducks and geese an occasionally the family of swans. There's direct access to One Stop, The Garden Gate and Rocky Lane Road from this park. I personally grew up in this area and spent a lot of time in this park as a child, I always loved feeding the ducks and going on the swingsets.

Nice , quite large park with limited access . There used to be car parks from both sides. Ive always used the one from Cherry Orchard road, but a few years ago 2 gates were installed, reducing parking spaces by ~80% . And I recently found out , that the main gate from Cherry Orchard road is locked, which means you gonna have to leave your car somewhere in front of someones house on the street.

Lovely park.. Been visiting it for the last 15 years. Very scenic and lots of wildlife. Loads of space for walks and picnics with your family .Only down side is too many dogs, usually off their leads and not controlled and dog poo bags thrown up into tree branches! Not to mention Dog poo next to your picnic spread is not very nice and very off putting!

This is a very nice place to go on a walk in and has very scenic pathways to walk down. The geese and lakes add to the natural atmosphere of the area and there is also a small garden near the entrance which is a quite cute nature reserve. I have no idea if there is much life there but the space they cleared out was a fun area.

Awesome. This was my first visit and unfortunately it was a short one. I checked out the outdoor gym, took a walk around 'Norms Nook', circled around the pond, took a brief walk around the field and used the facilities before heading out. Felt very safe and my daughter loved her outdoor excursion. Definitely going back.

One of my favorite things to do during the weekend is go to Perry Hall Park! It's a huge park with a lot to see and do. The pathways are very scenic and there are lots of trees and flowers. There are also some benches you can sit on while you admire the scenery. You'll never be bored at Perry Hall Park!

Great park, with ample amounts of parking. A good mix of green open spaces and activities for children. This was short of 5 stars only due to lack more playground activities. The ones they have at the moment, have probably been the sames type since we were kids. Please add more in multiple locations.

Lovely park to walk and enjoy a long walk, Water lake streaming across to enjoy along the way. Ideal for kids as they have playing facilities too. I have been coming to this park for a long time and it is a nice and clean environment too. Beautiful scenes and also sports events take place here

Basic but well maintained and kept the kids entertained for an hour just messing around. A pleasant surprise to find adult-oriented (unsupervised) exercise equipment freely available for use, with guide instructions. Could easily have spent longer if the weather had been more appealing.

Great Park, beautiful nature & they have a concrete outdoor table tennis and outdoor exercise equipment. I go here to get away from. the hustle and bustle of life..... I've been going to ghis Park for many years since childhood. Its great, I just wish the council did a bit more for it.

This is my favourite park in Birmingham. Beautiful landscaping and a river and pond running through it. Good quality pathways and gorgeous trees - especially in the Autumn (see photos). As a bonus, there is also a decent outdoor fitness gym. 15 minute walk from Perry Barr station.

Seems like BCC are allowing more natural flower/ overgrowth areas. This is good for wildlife and makes the park seem more alive, even if it means less walkways. Great place to see many ducks, geese and crows. Very quiet before 7am also. Quite a few benches around which is good.

Nice open space for walking, jogging and exercise. Play area also provides a handful of activities for children (supervision is mandatory). Sport lovers can enjoy in the park too, especially Cricketers. However, the only thing that should be looked at is the proper cleaning.

I like perry Park but I wouldn't bring my dog there. The field are great and wide and plenty of room but my lab likes water and with the nice ponds and canal I wouldn't trust him. The grounds are well maintained and the rangers friendly. Great park for kids and picnics.

Awesome park. It has everything you need. Large areas of grass, smaller areas where it is pleasant to walk, ducks, flowers, canals, beautiful trees... I definitely recommend it whether it is for running, casually walking with friends/family or even for a lone stroll.

Large park from Hamstead to Perry Barr. A railway bridge exits to Handsworth Wood. Not well signposted. Had to check Google Maps for routes in and out. Got train to Hamstead Station. Walked down to One Stop and train back to Birmingham from Perry Barr Station.

A lovely place to take the kids to feed the ducks and to go for a walk !! A little run down in places but overall go pack a picnic with the family and go relax in the sun !!! It has a kids park table tennis table and some nice places inside to see and sit !!!

Great park, ideal for strolling with the kids, friends, family or love ones. Great for getting those valuable steps in for the day. Plants are lovely and there is a small stream with ducks for the little ones to admire. Afraid no feeding of the ducks!

Wonderful park to visit, loads of open spaces with a river flowing through You must check out the sensory garden, very peaceful, a little haven, well kept by a team of volunteers. The park keeper is a very knowledgeable guy concerning local history.

This is a great local park, it's mostly enclosed and if you have a dog you can let him/her off and the fields are so open you can see them for miles. There are lots friendly dogs and dog walkers. its a really great place!!

Really friendly weekly Parkrun event with great group of volunteers and a relatively flat course. Paths can build up a collection of puddles after some wet weather so wear suitable footwear. Plenty of free parking

Didn't manage to spend long due to rain. Loved the bridge and sensory garden! Kids loved the garden. The art was great too will go again to explore all the park and when the play areas re open after covid19

Beautifully scenic and well kept. Brilliant for all ages. Parking is chargeable now, but a few entrances to the park means you could probably find a side street to park on without annoying local residents.

A river runs through here. A very pleasant place for walks. Has a few amenities for children, e.g. swings, a slide, small climbing frame, etc. Very well used by cricket clubs to play cricket at weekends.

Park is stated as open, yet the back entrance gates is locked. Very disappointing as I like to walk through to get to my boxing gym. At least have the professionalism to update it on google

Perry Hall Park is a pretty haven with a variety of trees. The playground floor has recently been redone and the kids can play on it again.
