I would like to leave a well deserved review for the team at Pet Care House. We had our adult English Bulldog dog Zeus neutered last month at their clinic. Upon recommendation from his breeder in SA as well as the team at Pet Care we waited to neuter him until he was fully matured in the best muscular health. Due to the reasons that we will not be breeding him and to ensure he lives his life to the fullest as well as the safety of all around him we made the decision to have him neutered. Given his breed specific anesthesia safety requirements, we had a lot of concerns and queries to which the two well trained veterinarians at pet care were able to address every single point beyond our satisfaction, giving us complete reassurance and full confidence to have his operation done at this clinic. They also offered pre-anesthesia blood work of which was thoroughly discussed prior to surgery. Pet Care House has all medical equipment necessary to ensure his safety during anesthesia from start to finish and we we’re also pleased with the level of sanitation. Prior to surgery we were briefed on preparation, upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Brittany and her team and put at the utmost ease when they took Zeus in for his surgery. Within hours I was notified that all had gone well and provided a post op photo well under recovery. Aftercare discussion was briefed thoroughly and simple to follow. Upon collection Zeus was well and very calm and the 24 hours there after went very smoothly. We are highly satisfied with the veterinary knowledge and expertise, teamwork of each individual at this clinic. Thank you Dr. S and Dr. Yohana, Hanifa, Anna, Marthe and Gellane taking such good care of our baby boy Zeus who is better than ever. Ok, let me start by saying ALL the staff here are some of the nicest people in Tanzania, and given the way above average level for Tanzania in general, this is an extremely high compliment. I have vets in the family so I double check everything against the standard of British vets. The quality of both veterinary surgical skills, and the post operation nursing by the support staff is 100% EUROPEAN STANDARD. If you have a sick animal then I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Pet Care House as I have tried other vets and not one is to this standard. The vet came in late in the evening of the birth of his first child (Hongera kaka) and still took the time to be extremely informative and friendly. The nurses are clearly animal lovers from their smiles on their faces and the loving information they were able to give me about my specific cat when I went to collect her. The surgery is completely modern and always very clean, as are their recuperation pens. My sincerest thanks to everyone at Pet Care House, you are the best! Wish you all the happiest new year. Finally, if you are looking for a NEW PET in Dar Es Salaam then PLEASE, PLEASE visit the wonderful EVERY LIVING THINGS pet-care charity. They are doing an amazing job of taking in street animals and rehabilitating them before finding them new homes. You might not believe that a place with around 100 dogs and scores of cats, but when I visited not a single dog barked at me in anger. Truly, the amazing people at this charity are working miracles. They have so many cute and friendly animals, any of which could do with your love, so please give them a try before contacting breeders. Pet Care House is the best vet hospital in Dar es Salaam, in my opinion. I am a veterinarian myself, but I am not authorized to practice in Tanzania as I do not have a work permit. Therefore, I have used PCH for all of the diagnostics and treatments for my own pets. The veterinarians at PCH perform the best medicine available and are always trying to best their own practices and knowledge. Brittany, the owner, is always trying to help her veterinarians succeed by providing the best diagnostics available and training with any new equipment. She also runs Every Living Thing (ELT), the charity to rescue stray animals. She does amazing work with the stray pets and the PCH veterinarians provide all the surgeries for the charity animals. When you use PCH, you are supporting the local veterinarians and helping provide for the stray animals at ELT. There are so many animals brought into the charity that are in need of their forever home; caring for them would not be possible without Brittany and the staff at PCH. Please remember…adopt, don’t shop!

This will be 2 reviews in one. My husband and I needed help getting a permit to bring our dog in. We reached out to PCH and they were ready to help. They applied for the permit for me and brought it to the airport! The 2nd review is for the grooming service. A friend of our left their pets in the care of the neglectful vet Dr. Everest and Elang’ata Agrovet Services in Arusha. They asked us to go and pick up their pets because they no longer trusted him. We went to get the pets and the 2 year old Maltese was matted and filthy! We brought them back to Dar and took her to PCH to get groomed. Right away Martha, wonderful Martha assessed the situation, offered a solution, and set to work. My friend is overjoyed with the results. Her sweet dog looks healthy and loved. Thank you Pet Care House for your dedication to our furry babies.

A team of professionals dedicated to the welfare and health of animals. The welcome, support, follow-up and expertise of the staff is remarkable. My dogs and cats have always found in this clinic extraordinary men and women with certain skills. They are also extremely concerned about the sensitivity of owners like me, whose animals are family members. The unwavering support even in difficult times in the case of my very sick dog was so important and so appreciated. They listen, they care, they make whatever is possible for your animal and I give all my trust in their expertise because they really care ❤️

I had a great experience and can highly recommend Pet House Clinic! I spoke to Ms. Fatima and asked about processing the permit & Health certificate. She was very communicative, professional, kind and she kept me updated the whole time. Pet Care House helped our family to be reunited with our little dog after we had to leave Tanzania at short notice. They were so diligent about making sure she had the paperwork and logistics she needed so the process would be smooth and as minimally stressful as possible (for our dog and us!). We wouldn't have her now if it wasn't for Pet Care House and we're very grateful.

Pet Care have always been super with my animals. We have used them for 8 years and they have done our annual check ups and vaccines, mango flies, spays and more. They readily respond quickly in an emergency even after hours and have the medication and equipment available to work quickly to save lives and provide preventive primary care.

Atleast a 24×7 veterinary. But expensive. Yes, they are clean, but looks like they don't know much of practical. Have enough knowledge, But being an animal or a dog person for years, it dint look like the doctors were prepared. And they just want to charge higher prices thinking we are new to the veterinary.
