This is the best pet store I've ever been to. I have two cats and have had an extremely stressful past few years and especially months... My male cat Hugo was diagnosed with Diabetes in October of last year. I came here and explained everything and after doing my research for cats needing specific food - I ended up finding the most amazing brand !!! It's called "Naturo Mousse chicken, turkey, salmon & tuna". This food helped save my cats life and put him into diabetic remission! I don't have to give him insulin anymore and he's never been so happy in his 12 years of life as he is with this food. The girls working there were so incredibly helpful and friendly. I come to this place all the way from Surrey now due to being the ONLY place that sells this food. It's a little expensive (Vancouver) but it's worth it when you want your little friends to eat quality food. I highly recommend not feeding dry food, even if it's good!! Your animal will thank you. Very well stocked pet store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a deep understanding of their products and specific needs of pets. Very committed to becoming your neighbourhood pet supply store. I often come in here and get little treats for my sweet kittens and they have a wide range of options. Many of their products are free of fillers and artificial components that are known to make pets sick. It's great to come here and do my pets' shopping because unlike other big pet chains that are all about quantity over quality - I can trust the folks at Pet Pantry with good advice and great service. Check it out and your 4-legged pals will thank you for it!

It's a great store with a good all round supply of pet supplies and food. The staff are knowledgeable on their products and are very friendly and open to small conversations, if there isn't a lot of people. The layout, I feel, is a bit chaotic as it can be hard to know where certain items are as there doesn't seem to be a set place for everything. It's small enough that you can look around and there are general areas, but I have found some items in a different area than expected. All in all. A great little story with friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of my go to places for pet supplies.

A selection of products I feel good about supporting, and it feels good in our cats' bellies, too. Always a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a worthwhile points program are available in-store. I only recently learned they do local delivery (via online) and my first order was prompt with excellent communication. I didn't ask for same-day delivery but it was granted because there was a volume of orders in response to the pandemic. Thanks Pet Pantry team!

They ordered in a product for me that was not in the store at the time and it arrived in a few days. Amazing !!! Very accommodating and friendly staff that goes beyond to ensure you are satisfied. Also The prices are very competitive to the big stores I shopped in the past but I rather support local. Especially now because pandemic conditions making it difficult for small businesses to survive.

You will find great variety and high quality products for every budget. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help with every concern I had about nutrition and enrichment for my cats, I trust them and their point if view. One member of the staff speaks Spanish, it might not seem important but helps to struggle less with the language barrier for the Spanish community.

I have been a customer to the downtown store for years! Now, I am so happy that they have another store on the drive! My friends in the neighbourhood listened to my advice and now they are as happy as I have always been with the customer service, and variety of the products that this local shop carries! Great service, very friendly, wonderful selection, generally a fantastic neighborhood go to for pet supplies. Edit: Recently found out about their supply policies (no by-products, corn, etc) and am a bit disappointed in their spread of common misconceptions. Nevertheless, still a great spot for smart pet owners, convenient location and decent pricing.

Everything here is really good quality! It’s a easy to shop layout with a friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff - a very handy location too super close by the skytrain station. Highly recommend! Mostly for dog/cat food and accessories tho - there is not much for smaller animals/reptiles/birds/fish here just a heads up.

I use to shop at the Davie street location and have since moved to east Vancouver. Also, since the lockdown I have had to order my cats essentials for delivery. I must say pet pantry is easy with online ordering and their delivery service is quick and convenient. I highly recommend ordering from them online!

I pet sit for people regularly and sometimes it can be a challenge to find the right products for the right pets. Pet pantry really is a one stop shop for everything. I've come to enjoy their selections of Raw & dehydrated food. Commercial Drive just got what I would call an ultimate pet supplier. <3

Very knowledgeable owner who puts animals first. Caters to many needs and stocks only the best products. Commercial Drive needed a better selection for food and supplies and this is it. Staff will also order anything you need thats not in store. Pet Pantry has earned our business and support!

This pet store is awesome. They have all the natural food you need for your pets. Their raw food selection is great and their loyalty program is the best. I think he was the owner, the guy helped me out was very good at customer service and product knowledge. I highly recommend this place.

A really lovely little store with friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately just didn’t have much of a selection of kitten food, so wouldn’t recommend if that’s what you’re specifically looking for! Otherwise, they seem to have a nice selection of products :)

The manager was eager to help and read all the labels with us to find the highest protein content food for our diabetic cat. All the staff has been useful and nice. They have a good selection of kibble, can, and raw food. Great selection of freeze dried treats.

This new store on Commercial Drive is absolutely worth the visit. Selection is all natural, they have the best raw food selection and not to mention they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I am very happy I found them.

This is a great local pet supply store! The food selection is just great, from high-quality kibble to raw and canned, and they have a good selection of treats and toys. They have a really generous points system, too.
