I ordered a circular wreath over the phone for a very dear friend's funeral. I spoke to Lakshmi at Petals and she was very helpful and thorough in explaining the different types of wreath, sizes and prices etc. I had specific colours in mind and she said they could do that. I had asked for a photo of the completed wreath (shown here) as I wasn't able to attend the funeral personally due to Covid restrictions. A photo was sent to me and the wreath was absolutely beautiful. Such care had been taken to put it together using my pastel colour scheme and even included a finishing touch of some orchids. It was done so perfectly and I was more than pleased with it. Petals also did the funeral flowers for the family of the deceased and I can say that they did a really excellent job. I was able to go to the crematorium after the service and see the flowers and they all looked very dignified and beautiful and my wreath was as beautiful 'live' as in the photo. I would definitely recommend Petals, as their attention to detail and their sympathetic but professional care in producing excellent floristry is second to none. I would imagine this is true for anything that they produce. Thank you Petals.

Seems like a lack of competition is taking its toll on this place. I walked-in around 11am to book a bouquet of flowers for a special occasion. The guy rushed to assemble it immediately, but I explained that I would rather come back to collect it at 4pm, to which he replied: “great, then I’ll make you a nice one” and issued a receipt. Upon arrival at 4:45pm, the bouquet is nowhere to be seen and I can hear him whispering to his colleague “I completely forgot this gentleman”. He rushed to assemble it from scratch again and asked what do I think of his first attempt. I wasn’t impressed, so he asked “what do you want?”, to which I replied “actually, I wanted it to be ready”. He then tried to excuse himself with being busy, but I said it’s his problem if he cannot handle it. At that moment I’ve been told to “f... off”, so I took my money back and spent it elsewhere. I’ve been to this shop a few times before and never had issues when the lady is there (thus two stars), but definitely can recall at least one more time when I walked out empty handed just because of poor customer service by the owner himself.

The best flower shop I’ve been too. I’ve been buying from petals for over 10 years, and continued even when new owners took over the shop. The two ladies luck and Philomena are not just great at making the flower arrangements. They are also kind and thoughtful. I had to have reefs made up last minute for my sisters funeral. They were accommodating and understanding as I was still grieving, they helped me to choose what was needed at affordable prices. Not to mention giving me time and patience and organising delivery. I’m ever so grateful for the service and kindness given. These ladies made me feel looked after. I would recommend their service to anyone as it comes with warmth and a smile. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s a total scam! After not receiving my order of £45 I was met with the disgusting attitude of the owner. I’m absolutely appalled at how this business is run. Offered a partial refund of £25, taking £20 of mine for a service/ product I DID NOT RECEIVE. I am being told “all of our customers received their orders that day apart from you” and “if we refund every customer then we would be handing out money all the time.” Awful customer service, literally stealing customers money and have no internal processes to deal with customer complaints or orders going missing. AVOID - buy your flowers elsewhere. :)

***absolutely fantastic***. I lost my mum a few months ago and I couldn’t be more thankful for the way my order was handled. Extremely thoughtful staff with pure genuine empathy. I couldn’t bring myself to think about which flower arrangements I wanted and so the staff took it upon themselves to create such a beautiful piece for the day of my mother’s funeral. I have nothing but positive things to say here as they went above and beyond for me. Thank you ever so much. Beautiful well thought out designs and delivered with such care and efficiency. I know my mum loved the flowers we put down for her.... I would recommend them 100% Thank you again x

Terrible Service The first bouquet I ordered arrived with pink flowers in it, however it was specifically confirmed on the order form for my arrangement to have no pink. They delivered another bouquet which also was not the colour arrangement I requested. When I went to collect the third order I made which sounded like a lovely gesture of good will, it was predominantly made of white and ivory flowers, but I asked for bright bold colours. The lady who served me was very rude by highlighting it was the second bunch they'd made for me that they weren't charging me for and simply expected me to be happy with what I was given.

Waited for ages in a queue outside to get served then gave up and left. Zero acknowledged that anyone was even waiting. No apology. No nothing. We may ascwell have been invisible. The shop is so so tiny with zero flowers to buy yourself only a few flowers for them to use themselves. The floor was a complete mess with greenery all over it. The young girl was so so slow. She had a phone glued to her ear while moving extremely slow while making a very expensive bouquet that someone wanted which was virtually all foliage and very little flowers. After seeing that I left. I spent my money elsewhere.

Truly excellent. Tiny shop which in no way portrays the service and excellence provided. Mehmet is honest and believes in making sure his customers are happy. Provided flowers for my mothers funeral and would take no payment until we had been to see them the day before to make sure we were satisfied. Everyone commented on how wonderful the flowers were on the day and trust me they exceeded my expectations. Absolutely beautiful displays designed by him. Can't thank him enough for his wonderful service and flowers and price. No hesitation in recommending him to others. First class

My family have been using this florist for many years since I was a child I'm now a grown adult with children myself. They have changed owners over the past few years and the quality of flowers has gone down hill and the price has gone up. Before you would get a lovely bunch of flowers for £25 -£30 now forget it. They do not even dress the flowers with a bow, no card and no water in the bottom of them. This is the third time now, I have given benifit of the doubt but I will NOT be going back. They are rubbish. Off to the little stall in romford brewery I go for the next bouquet.

Truly stunning spray of flowers for my dear Aunt's funeral today. They looked so beautiful on top of her coffin. So fresh, fragrant and went extra mile to make this special for us. Thank you. We have sadly had another 2 family funerals and Petals Florist did the most beautiful coffin sprays and family flowers. I can't recommend this florist and customer service enough. Amazing range of flowers & fantastic customer service. I placed an order for my wedding & the staff at the shop were so informative & helpful with the colour scheme & the types of bouquets on offer. It also helps that the staff are all English & understand exactly you want & can make helpful suggestions. Also great value for money, I felt having shopped around locally, Petals came quite reasonable for what I wanted. Would definitely recommend. Thanks guys xx

I cant believe some of the neg feedback on these reviews, this shop did my mums funeral in January 2018 and he did a fantastic job, delivered all the flowers to undertaker on time and even came back to house to help prepare the flowers for tables at wake, going above and beyond. I would recommend 100% !! if you having headstone and want an artificial bouquet, he does that too, looks real and nice all year around. A true expert florist. Ignore the negatives.

I was looking for a flower shop and came across this hidden gem. I was intending on buying a few roses and ended up coming out with a stunning bouquet that was well received by my Mrs. To my surprise, I discovered 'hot pink' and 'Ivory' roses for the first time, which I initially thought were red and white roses but lets not go there. Thank you to the lady that served me. I was welcomed with warmth and excellent Customer service. I wish you all the best.

Went here because I saw the reviews, then when I got there there was no bunches put together. I was asked what I'd like "flowers for my wife" I responded and minimum spend was £10. She put a £10 bunch together and I was amazed the quality of the flowers are great and the wrapping and general service was brilliant. Some flowers weren't avaliable, but amen still a great florist all in all!! Thank you petals for putting a smile on my wife's face.

...So having (accidentally) upset the lady of my life I give this shop a call out of the blue from 40 miles away. They answer the phone at 1835 (!) and agree to deliver a bunch of roses that evening - they are delivered before 1830 !! Where do you get service like that in this day and age ... personal local service and not a chain. Mehmet you are a star. I may well use you again but hopefully not having to say sorry to my lady next time :-)

There's no where else I would go for flowers! Petal florist has always been my go to and has always saved me with last minute orders too. I received a bunch of stunning peach and pink flowers from Petals and was taken aback by just how pretty they were, I just could not stop admiring them! You can see a mile off that there is talent in the hands of the florists over at Petals. Such meticulous, beautiful craftsmanship making every penny spent completely worth it. Very polite and warm service and love the rustic feel to the shop! Highly recommended.

Arranging a funeral is never easy, but from the moment we walked into the florist, we were treated with warmth, sympathy and assurances our flowers would be lovely! They under sold themselves - the spray on Mums coffin was superb! This florist will not let you down and is reasonably priced, I won't be going anywhere else for flowers in future - suggest you do the same!

Despite this florist being further away from me compared to others, the service, aesthetic, uniqueness among many other attributes is what keeps bringing me back. You won't find the same commitment and investment from other staff, especially the owner (thank you all!). I hope the establishment continues to flourish just like the flowers they sell ;)

Fantastic! Petals recently did the flowers for my mother's funeral. They were absolutely fantastic and provided us with a faultless service, carried out with genuine care and sensitivity. They worked to a very short deadline and produced flowers that were of a very high standard that she would have loved.

Sadly after today will not be going into this shop again after 30 years lovely service and beautiful flowers. Horrible year for me, my husband went there to buy flowers for our anniversary. Was given half dead flowers in stinking water. Very disappointed money refunded but won't be going back.
