We had been visit this shop so many times. But today, one of the tall guy who working today wasn’t happy to serve my boyfriend because he ask few of the questions. And normally we can match the price. He refused to give the online price. We complain Not because of the small money. We walk in to buy and go, because we living nearby, so that we can just pay and go. If want to pay online and wait for delivery, I can online order from others shop. Will not coming back anymore!

Been here for years, even before they relocated to the current place. But my recent experience with them was awful. I qualified for a refund because their website double charged me, and I passed over my card and they charged me again. So I got one product, but paid three times for it. The manager was adamant that I was refunded, but my card statements clearly states otherwise. Luckily I was easily able to get my credit card company to reverse the charges.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Sales manager Ethan has a stinking attitude really unbelievable. Retained to refund a faintly harness purchased just 60 days ago then told me to phone costumer service spent 45 minutes on the phone while in store. Refused to pro I use refund despite customer service saying he should. Absolutely shocking attitude from this guy every time I go to this store. Today was the last time ever shopping at pet barn

It's okay, not that much there. A few oc the workers are rude but most are very friendly it depends. I've shopped for years here and the carpark is never open so it is very annoying and it's on a busy street and only about 1 car can park in front. I think they recently opened the carpark again, it was closed because they were building but no progress has been made. So come early because it has a busy rode and no parking

Great local Pet store, in fact it is my go to place for anything I need for my fur babies. Has a LARGE range of foods and products for a LARGE range of pets. Friendly and expert service. They are also Covid safe and compliant. NOTE: generally there is plenty of parking on site BUT next door there is construction going on at the moment. Thereby making parking available only on the main road and surrounding areas.

Staff were nice but some items had the wrong price tag, marked for $5 but come up $8 on the register. When talking to the cashier she said it's an old price tag and refused to honour it. When I told her it's illegal she replied with "that's the price, take it or leave it". I feel like they should educate their staff regarding the law. It was only $3 and I was in a hurry so I paid but I will not be coming back.

Very hot inside this shed like building. Service is good and helpful. However please be aware when you buy gift voucher because you have to make the exact amount of purchase because it does not allow any purchase over the voucher value even if you pay the difference in cash. It's very inflexible. My voucher was faulty and not recognised by the system. I had to ring up their IT and then go back a second time.

I am a regular customer that always requests express delivery and products usually come from the most local store. For some reason this time they came from Kogarah which added another 1/2 hour to delivery. Took 2 1/2 hours in total. Have requested refund of delivery fee as is policy but yet to receive it. Must note again I am a long time customer and have only had issue with express delivery once before.

Excellent service from the staff. I've had goldfish for quite some time now and I had a few questions about changing fish tanks. The guy who helped me was really friendly and ensured that petbarn would help if I had any questions. I was also told there if anything broke Or was it working properly in my fish tank they have staff who no their way around fish tanks then how to fix problems

Staff member was extremely knowledgable and approachable. I did not feel rushed when asking questions nor did I feel the need to be shy about asking the most cost effective way to look at what I needed to purchase. I recommend this store purely for the friendly staff and customer service. There were also items on special as clearance items which always come in handy when you have pets.

Terrible experience at Kogarah Pet barn. Bought cat food and was overcharged.Didn't notice the overcharge till the next day. When I rang them, no apologies at all, so i went back to the shop, spent almost half an hout for them to refund only $20 insted of $50. Terrible service , no parking,had to roll the heavy trolley and carry one by one to the car. Really disappointed

Their cats’ product range compared to any other Petbarn is incredibly small and the products are always missing - specially the raw food products. It is not a shop where you can trust to go and will certainly find what you want. I used to go first to this shop but now I prefer to go to PetO Rockdale which is bigger and have many more products (and also discounts).

Kogarah Petbarn charged me higher than their advertised online price, only once i challenged them did they offer to price match their online price, i was not impressed, returned the goods and bought instead from PetO rockdale, they were very happy to price match Petbarn’s online offer, they even gave me a $10 gift voucher. Petbarn have lost a customer for life.

Ordered click and collect. No parking on site so had to carry 20kg bag of dog food 200 metres up the street. As staff pounted out, there is a sign on the gate that car park is closed but nothing online. Staff said they couldn't communicate with management to have advice placed on the Pet Barn website nor give me an email my concern. Ridiculous! Price was good.

I visited your Kogarah store this evening approx 6pm and I must say the 2 team members who was working there were the most pleasant and helpful team members I have met in a long time... nothing was too much trouble... sorry I didn't get their names now but I'm sure you can find out by day and time to pass this one....Cheers Petbarn and well done....

Great places for pets and their owners! Lots of advice and knowledge from the staff and a good selection. More costly than some of the other pet places, but invaluable for the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Lots of parking alongside the big yellow building and make sure to grab yourself a loyalty card while you are there.

Worst customer service you ever receive . Don’t have choice put review without putting a star so you lucky . Was been their for purchase fishes and while I ask assistant the staff said something not sounds like English then ask again the new staff explain they can’t sale fishes because they are diseased.waste of my time.

The service at this establishment could be described as the youngins call "bussin bussin", it was remarkable. I brought in little Rufus (african rain frog) and a worker named Hayley was just a delight to talk to and was polite and helpful with everything i asked, would definitely recommend shopping here!

Nearly threw up several times over the smell, no exaggeration my partner and I were dry reaching the whole shop. This place is great on price and the staff were super friendly, so it does pain me to give this rating...but honestly, where's the housekeeping? Walked out empty handed unfortunately

Great little Petbarn with friendly staff. Parking was closed due to maintenance and didn’t have the Providire flavour I was after but I left with a new little fish friend who needed a home so can’t complain. Thanks guys for the dog treats for my furry friend too.

The manager here is so helpful and they are genuinely passionate about your pets. Not a massive store but have a solid range of products and a well laid-out store. The staff clearly love animals, as the resident magpie family (Lucille and Emmanuel?) would agree!

I popped in to buy a short dog lead for my Golden Retriever and was a little confused... Mia helped me and explained the difference between them... in the end I purchased the right one... Great customer service and product knowledge... Highly recommend...

Decent place to shop (for cats at least) if what you are looking for Pet barn has on the website but not on the shelf here, make sure to ask the stuff if its at the back… Sometimes I think they overstock with things and don’t fill it up… Got good service

This Petbarn is actually a barn! Well sort of! Enter from the left side and you are greeted by lovely staff and a wonderful variety of pet products! They were incredibly helpful in helping me find the right items to spend my vouvher on! Thanks!

WORST place possible located, no street parking, and customer parking taken over by delivery trucks, wasted 15min looking for a parking. Even though the walls had mentioned customer parking but your not allowed to park there.

Not very busy for a Saturday Christmas eve. Store is well laid out and staff are awesome. They obviously love pets and enjoy their work. Be wary of prices advertised online are cheaper than in store even if your a member.

Each time i go there,the specials never scan,so im not sure if the staff are taught to rip the customers or it's genuine computer error. It is terribly hot on hot days and the driveway needs urgent repair from huge holes.

Out of the stores I visit: Bankstown, Strathfield and Alexandria... It's the least inviting. Carpark is chained and you have to carry all goods out to he road. Just a much smaller store and cramped compared to the others.

Manager won't price match, stock is always low. So hot in summer its not funny. HO have been saying they are moving for last 3 years. Full of it. Only saving grace is staff. Won't be going there unless desperate.

We went in to get a dog bed and ended up with a great amount of help and really nice setup. Leslie was very helpful! We were only in there for 20mins and got everything we needed. Service with lots of smiles.

A very kind and helpful young woman assisted with my purchases. As I am currently disabled, I greatly appreciated her assistance by taking my purchases to the car. A bit difficult with a walking stick!!

This is one of my favourite stores for my dog (and my dog's favourite too, because he gets pats and treats all the time!). A smaller store, but a great selection, good sales, and lovely friendly staff.

Elenora was very helpful. In fact we were happy to spend more purely from her helpful attitude and willingness to give great advice and personal opinion. Will 100% be coming back in the future.

The products are pricy, but the workers can be very helpful so the customer service makes it worth it. However, the only person who seems to be willing to help you 100% of the time is Michelle.

This is a good store! Although there have been times we visited and they had run out of what we needed for our cat. The parking can be a bit annoying at times but all in all, a great pet shop.

Found some really cute toys on sale that our pups love! Store is well laid out so it was literally just a quick in and out visit, very efficient. The customer parking was closed off though.

We drove right in front of the shop and almost went home thinking it was closed. After calling, managed to confirm where the entrance was. A large variety of food products and toys etc.
