The store is a bit too small for its needs. It seems a bit crowded. And it is a bit unorganized. It is as if everything was just thrown into the store. Perhaps they need a larger location to facilitate the needs of the customers. I had to push myself through stacks of merchandise and inventory that had not been shelved. The layout, while not confusing, is a bit tight. They were still stocking on a Saturday afternoon which should not be the case. Maybe they're short staffed as many places are these days. I wasn't fully able to find what I wanted because inventory had not yet been placed on shelves. I took what I could only because my cat needed her food for the day. I hope this location perhaps finds a larger place. Meanwhile I'll find another location for my needs. I gather the people are nice, but because they were trying to stock the shelves and put the store back in some order, their focus was not towards customer service. I don't fault them for that. Hopefully, they will either find a larger location or allow this smaller location to just take care of immediate needs. The area does need a pet store as there are many owners of dogs cats and other animals. Because the area is very large, the store may need to find a different location to accommodate a fast growing area such as Antioch.

The people in the grooming are the worst people I’ve ever seen at petco. I went to them for a nail clipping. And I usually help my dog up on the table and hold her body because she had acl surgery. She’s also almost 11. They did not let me help her nor did they even help her on the table. They let her try and jump up and she flipped backwards landing on her back. She got scared and pooped a little bit. I got visibly upset BUT I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING bad towards them. I also did not bring it up to the manager when i checked out. They must’ve known they messed up because they BANNED ME from that petco and put a note on my account saying me/my dog are difficult. Now other petcos think we are difficult just because I want to protect my dog from people who don’t care about her. Also don’t go to IZZY, she doesn’t care about your dog.

I brought my dog in for a vetco clinic. I was surprised at how fearful of a barking dog the vet was. My dog is not aggressive and has never bit anyone. And I am okay with putting the muzzle to comfort the vet, however the part that bothered me was every aisle was blocked off with stuff to be shelved. The vet put derogatory remarks in my pets file even though all she did was bark and she didn't even fight when we put a muzzle on her for the first time or pull away when she got her shots. My puppy is a husky mix... it's in her nature to talk.

This is a convenient location, which isn't bad, the staff are friendly, and helpful. Plus the store itself is actually pretty clean. Attention to details need to be paid more toward the products themselves. Meaning many of the products purchased here are returned often, due to the employees not paying attention to the product before placing items for sale on the shelves. For the record, that issue could be how the products themselves are delivered. So keep that in mind before making purchases and actually leaving the store. Good Luck.

They were very friendly. The ONLY complaint and it isn't a big deal really was I was returning 2 items. 1 I did not have a receipt for, the other I did. I was purchasing something else and so I did still have a credit, well I was told my total was $9.50 insert card, I thought ok, they are doing this different. No that was my refund but that was Not explained until I looked at my receipt...again not a huge deal but think they should explain, otherwise. Very pleasant trip Update 10/22....doing much better and very friendly!

I had my dog sent to be groomed on a Sunday and once he got home I didn’t like his cut and said I’ll never take him back because that was a waste of money. He kept acting like something was bothering his area and then we saw this. His area is red and black and I called the manager who had a nasty attitude about me being concerned about MY DOG. This wasn’t the first time for the grooming service and his cut last time was ok and he didn’t have anything wrong with him.

I walked in the front door and the person on duty did not even look at me as they walked by. I didn’t know where anything was (first time here) and nobody offered to help. I walked around looking for what I needed and the same person passed me at least 3 times avoiding eye contact. I’ll only return if it’s life or death for my dogs. I’d rather drive the extra miles for better service even if it cost more.

This store's motto is apparently "Why bother putting anything on a shelf when we can leave it piled up on crates all over the store". Couldn't find a pretty common bag of dog food (even after searching every pallet around the store). Was never offered help. Would rather drive 30 min out of my way to go to another store than visit this one (5 min from my house) ever again.

Their store is clean, although I never can seem to find anyone around to help me. Seems like they always have limited staff. Not a lot of choices as for as stock goes in my opinion. I have a very small Maltese (3lbs) and have had to go to a competitor multiple times for what I needed. Food for my pup has never been an issue but everything else, yes.

Love this Petco!! The location itself is nice, but I prefer to come here because of the staff. Logan is one of the dog trainers at this location and does an incredible job. She knew exactly what type of food my dog needed with her allergy issues... I always leave the store feeling confident that I got the best products for my dog.

Amanda is by far the best doodle groomer I've come across in my area. If you have a doodle you know the struggle of finding a great groomer. My dogs absolutely love her and enjoy their grooming.
