Not sure why people still shop these ridiculously high prices!! They ripping the neighborhood off and using the Hispanics as a front. We had rotted turkey wings that were to be cooked after Thanksgiving but frozen until Friday. I called the store and was instructed to bring them back by someone who refused to give their name for reference. Once I got to the store Juan thought it would be a great idea to attempt to berate me on how to store the meat and tell me that I was only person to return meat all in front of other customers in an attempt to gain attention. He had an option of either replacing the meat as promised via phone or saying NO!! There was no option to lecture me as I throughly explained. At the prices they charge I have no issues bringing this to their attention and the attention of the Cook County Department of Public Health, the Attorney Generals Office and the FDA. The deceptive business practices and the labor laws at this establishment and the additional Pete’s produces should be investigated because I’m positive it’s not all above board. Stop cheating our community!!!

Small space. They expanded the parking lot, but should have extended the size of the store instead. Decent selection of products but not nearly the variety offered in their larger stores. Also the meat in this store is not the same quality as in other stores; or doesn't seem as fresh - especially the ground turkey. In other regards the business is mediocre. The staff are affable enough, and you can get in and out in reasonable time - no long lines.

When I was there, there was a lot of interesting product options. I'd never seen spicy Korean ramen noodles until coming here so that was fun. The prices were really reasonable and I found everything on my shopping list. The staff were courteous and responsive. The only thing I didn't like was that there were too many obstacles like stacks of boxes and containers cluttering the walkways.

One of my favorite neighborhood grocery stores. They all ways have what I want and need for a affordable price. The fruit and vegetables are always fully stocked and fresh. The tempting raw meat prices are always competitive. The assortment of prepackaged homemade turkey sausages are excellent on the grill. Aww..... and they also have raw Turkey tips!!! NICE

Love Pete's!!! Been going there for years Their fruits and vegetables are always beautiful and fresh. The meats are great too. Go during week because it's less crowded and existing is faster. For years the parking lot was too small but they have extended their parking lot, so now there is plenty of parking

They have nice fresh meat and they will cut it anyway you like with no extra charge like these other stores in your neighborhood and I will not buy any meat from a neighborhood corner store it's not fresh and never buy any ground beef it might have anything in it.

Love the cleanliness and always well stocked. The meat options are awesome. I shopped at 8am but they opened at 7am. Conveniently I can get in and out before work.. just a little over priced. My eggs were expensive. But overall worth it.

Got there early so it wasn't overly crowed. Made my purchase and security helped me with my purchases to the car which was extremely nice. Easy in and easy out. Meats are always fresh.

Extortion in prices. Just HIGH for no reason. It's my belief that they boost their prices because there's no other grocery store in the area. So we basically paying a convenience fee.

This place is a complete rip off. Who charges 15 bucks for a single bag of charcoal ? I never made it to the back to check out the meat. This was enough to run me out of there

This p e t e s produce on West 87th far exceeds all other Pete's that I have visited. It is clean, well organized, the patrons are courteous, and a lot more variety of foods.

I love this store and hot bar. The food is delicious. I go here on the weekends. I let someone else do the cooking. I'm limited in what I can have, but I'm not disappointed.

It's local, the meat sales are good.. y'all know it's kinda hard to maneuver with a shopping cart in there.. especially on holidays and busy days. But no problems from me.

Excellent selection of produce. Store was well stocked and the items were easy to find. Cashiers were friendly and helpful as were the workers in the produce section.
