This is the best place if you have pets obviously. I'm a regular and happy customer, the staff are friendly and helpful, last time I been there coz my dog had an infection on her eye, the lady who helped me she recommended 2 great products as well she recommended to visited the vet that is upstairs so I had a full service, the vet guided me about the medicine I have to put to my dog so I can say in this place are doing an excellent job. The other thing I would like to mention, this shop is perfect for families and I you want to bring your pet you should go. I can say this is the best pet shop in the area. I'm a happy customer and every time when I'm going with my doggies ( Daisy & Santiago ) both they have a lovely services, the staff give treats to my doggies, so I can say my pets and I are happy in this shop

Previously 5 stars but now I would give a 0 star if I could. Gone awfully downhill. Vets4pets in here is the worst thing ever. All overpriced. Mediocre stock of which you can get for better deals elsewhere. They are also weird about cancelling orders. Rude staff. Rude management. Unorganised company. Admin team are all over the place. Charged for things I did not agree to. Took funds without authorisation. Overall, it is a terrible experience. Avoid. Go to Burnt Ash Vets or Medivets in Beckenham instead, and order your pets toys and food online elsewhere. I have also contacted twice about my complaints and nobody has got back to me. Very unprofessional company.

Unhelpful and don't have a clue about anything they sell if I am honest. They don't care about the animals I have been in there and animals have no food and water the animals are dirty with little food. And they think they know stuff about animals nope better getting a book or going to the vets. Standing around waiting for someone to help or to ask someone something no one around. Horrible queues at certain times of the day with only one member of staff manning till. Where are the staff.

The staff here were super friendly, especially Chloe (working this evening, Fri 12th Aug). Whilst we were at the cashpoint she got us to download the VIP app so that we could save on our shop, and we ended up saving £36!! She was super friendly and helpful and seemed happy to take her time to help us. Not a lot of people like Chloe! Would 100% return, just for Chloe’s service!

Manager was extremely rude when my 25% off voucher wouldn't work at the till, taking the item i wanted and throwing it aside saying my voucher doesn't cover that item when no stipulation of said item was defined on my 25% off voucher. I went to another pets at home where they had no problem with me using it for same item. Poor customer service at this branch im afraid.

The place has a good range of products for your animal needs. The staff are mostly well mannered. The problems with this shop is that they are not good a getting extra staff on the checkouts when it gets busy. As a result, queing and paying for stuff can be a long and tedious process. Better management and increase in the urgency of staff members is required.

Good clean store. Some items quiet pricy. Disabled parking available. Live animals for sale as well as all your pets needs. A friendly vet upstairs also. Only one downfall as would of been 5 stars is a male member of staff member gave me wrong info about rats saying they were solidarity animals. Thank god the rat lady Jo was in.. Overall, good experience.

Staff are helpful and friendly with treats for your canine pal at the cash desk and water for hot days. Animal pens for rabbits etc kept clean and plenty of toys, harnesses, food, beds and accessories to choose from for a large number of pets. Also has a vet and grooming cebtre upstairs in case you need your little one looked at.

Really love this pets at home. The staff are always on hand to help direct you with and enquiries. The animals in store appear to be well looked after and regularly cleaned. The staff were very helpful and assisted me to find suitable dog food for my pooch. The lovely person at the till informed me about the 10% discount for the VIP app. And even held my stuff back whilst I downloaded the app. The first time I have ever been in this shop and what a pleasant experience.

Recommend the fish here if your looking for simple little gold fish/ cold water fish. Of course can always have bad luck with fish so nothing guaranteed, but these have always been healthy and well cared for little guys, so a good bet if you have your pond or tanks set up to receive them!

Every time visiting this store,I'm leaving very disappointed as half of shelfs are empty.Never can't find nothing what I need.Floors dirty from the litter filling everywhere.This is very strange as I visited different Pets at home stores and they never had a problem with a stocking.

I went to the groomers today because my dog is matted bad one says they could do it and the other said they couldn't so now my pup needs to go to the vet to get her fur cut but they will put her under sedation so the vet could do it I'm upset that they couldn't do it today.

I come here constantly and there is seldom lots of stock on cat food. Dry food is a joke, 3 times this week, still nothing. Wet food is always running out, Cats are fussy and will only eat certain foods. I will have to start going elsewhere, it’s beyond a joke!!!!

Very clean, both the store and animal cages. They had many different types of rodents, the rats being particularly cute. Also surprised to see they had a gerbil as I don't see those often at pet stores. All the animals seemed very sleepy.

Buy most of my pets goods here. Wouldn't recommend the vets inside as they are quite dishonest I've experienced it a few times myself. As for pets at home always recommend polite and helpful staff

Cozy place with a great atmosphere, clean and tidy. The bathrooms are clean. Large parking lot. Friendly staff always attentive to customer needs. I bought my sweet guinea pig, I'm very happy.

They're OK. But on a Saturday it doesn't take much for tills to be snarled up with queries. Sometimes wish they had self service tills here but I suspect its not busy enough to justify that.

I went to the catford branch today which was a fair size, the staff were very helpful, I found this place to be well stocked but unfortunately they never had what I went there for.

We have got good help whilst buying our Syrian Hamster, the gentleman (shop clerk) was lovely and gave us the right attention and tips on how to care for the new addition!
