Phil helped us with the sale of one home and the purchase of another. He helped us put together a plan nearly a year before we intended to move - aligning our sale with the prime part of the selling season, and then guiding us through an aggressive strategy that led us to find a great value on our new home in an intense market. It's easy to think that homes in Seattle sell themselves. They do, but if you want to generate the kind of excitement that draws top offers for your space, it pays to work with Phil. He walked our family through a strategy that included staging, photography, video and digital marketing. He was able to refute my skepticism about some of the costs, and in the end he was right. The results of our sale were overwhelming. He taught us what the levers were, how we could pull them, and how to mitigate the risks we would take with each action. By following his guidance, we were able to move into a wonderful home, in a fantastic Seattle neighborhood (where we never thought we could buy), at a great value, all within weeks of the sale of our previous home. Phil was also helpful to us as we settled into our new space and encountered the kind of mundane issues one does when moving; how do we take care of this yard? What do we do with mail from the previous owners? ... and on and on. Not only did I personally experience Phil's professionalism and expertise. I heard about it from our partners during our sale, including the people staging our home and handling our escrow, and during our subsequent purchase through agents on the other side. Even one of our neighbors, who purchased a home next door, heard positive things about Phil. In summary, I can't say enough about my positive experience working Phil. Phil was a pleasure to work with. We had previously attempted to buy a home in 2013 but didn't find anything in the short 2-month timeframe we had to purchase. We had met with another agent or two in 2013 but Phil's kind and mellow demeanor really sealed the deal for us when looking for an agent, especially in such a stressful time. I highly recommend working with Phil! He helped us buy our first home and we were really impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, patience and also understanding of our time constraints. I met with him once at his office and he knew what to ask to understand what we are looking for (obviously as first time buyers we were not clear what we were looking for, but being a pro he figured it out himself). TOP NOTCH. Phil is amazing. As first time home-buyers, he made the process so stress free. I appreciate how much he communicated with us via text/voice/video emails. He was always there for support and answered my seemingly endless list of questions. He was so patient when our young kids would tag along to the open houses also. When it came time to make an offer, he provided great guidance without being overbearing -- he allowed us to really feel comfortable with what we wanted to present, yet he provided insight into the local market for us to make a smart offer. We won a bid with multiple competing offers! The entire closing process was made simple by his help as well as his support team. We cannot recommend him highly enough :)

Phil was very helpful in selling my moms house and we came in way over asking. Phil takes a practical approach to what the seller needs to do to prepare the house, not spending money that does not help towards a return.
