Nice wide main path for walking or biking. Several side smaller trails for hiking split off of the main path. Plenty of signs for keeping track of where you are located. It is very common to see deer, rabbits, squirrels, lizards, and many types of birds. Path are very well maintained by the city of SA.
Great scenery and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of trees so plenty of freshly God given oxygen which is nature's remedy for lowering anxiety . So walking this trail good way to unwind after work. I absolutely love the geology trail.. it's great on the legs and knees when walking. …
This is a particularly excellent park in otherwise urban San Antonio. It has a playground, sport fields, and a very large natural area with elevated walkways and excellent signage. Lots of native plants (including an area with plant name signage) and pollinators!
Loved walking the trails at this park. There are plenty of them. A mix of sun and shade made it pleasant. Bring mosquito repellent. I used Citronella to keep them at bay! Large area to sit and eat. Clean restrooms. Handicapped parking available.
Love this park. It has a super long Rd to walk , , walk. I like they got different section to drink water . It has station tools to fix you bicycle very cool, I don't have dog but it has a guard are that you can train dog and play freely,
I love going on hikes and walks in nature! This was my first time at Phil Hardberger Park, and it exceeded my expectations! You could tell that the trails were well maintained. The marked/paved paths had plenty of passing space for bicycles
I went with my dog on a Wednesday afternoon for the first time. It was a couple days after they just opened the new Sky Walk. It was incredible, although the walk across the entire bridge was shorter than I expected but still a good length.
This is a review for the dog park. It's very nice - large area, obstacles for agility/fun, and a ton of tennis balls. The only downside is that large-breed dog owners do not respect the small vs. large dog sections. Even if a large dog is
Good park with several large winding trails throughout. With the land bridge it's now connected to the west side of the park as well which is awesome and adds miles more trails. The whole park is populated with local plant life, which can
Nice park, will look forward to seeing it after everything is green. They did a really nice wildlife bridge that is walking only. We did see some people on bike that could not read walk your bike. Other than that it's a really nice park.
Date of damage 10/27/22: Landscaping personnel took out my driver side window. Nobody left a note. It was not a break-in. Nothing visible in the car and no entry into my vehicle. I parked at the Voelcker trailhead at 0815 10/27/22. There
Very nice urban park. Very well designed, be in nature in the middle of the city. Lots of hiking trails, childrens playgrounds, plenty of parking and I am not sure if it is a Texas thing but people do not pick up after their dogs and if
While the park was great, an experience put a damper on it for me and I wanted to warn others. A grown a$$ man without a mask, was for one reason or another, so bothered about my mom and I wearing one on the trail that he coughed loud,
This park is great for running, cycling, walking, and anything having to do with cardio. Lanes are perfectly paved and wide enough to share. There is a ton of deer along the pavedtrails. Bathrooms are typically clean and stocked. And
The land bridge opened this weekend, which is actually way less cool than it sounds, but it is still a nice park. Good trails with a hybrid between concrete and small rocks. There is also a decent playground with lots of shade.
It is a nice park. Lots of things to see and trails to walk. Very crowded Christmas day. Land bridge was packed! Downfall was lots of the people not wearing masks, staying on trails or cleaning up after their dogs.
I got a violation charge for staying late!? I didn’t even know that could happen!? It’s my first time being here and I thought the park was open 24 hours so I saw. I don’t I’m just disappointed in a park!? Crazy
Great playgrounds, especially for younger kids. Perfect access to the Salida Creek Trail, and a beautiful section of it. Lots of good birds down there early in the morning, if you feel like observing birds!
No shade. No water station for dogs or people. It's impossible to find the landbridge "skywalk" from here. No signs. Place is a labyrinth. Not even Google knows how to get there
This Park is one of the best parks and trails in San Antonio. When going through this trail you will experience wild life and nice relaxing trail.
"The best place in San Antonio to experience the natural world." The Park offers an easy escape from the city where you can explore nature and
Great park for biking or walking. Connects to nearby parks, trail continues beyond 1604 They have playgrounds next bathrooms. Very nice.
Nice park aesthetically. However they are sorely lacking in signage keep people oriented. VERY easy to get lost. Need a map app!!
Very nice place for a walk and play time for kiddos. Its one of the best family and pet friendly walk and fun park and trail .
I love all of the trails and areas for dogs and the land bridge and sky bridge. It's definitely worth it to go to this park.
Terrific shaded park with Ash Junipers and Live Oaks. This is the largest live oak in the park
