I'm very happy with the service here. Once inside everything went quick and smooth. I emailed them on a Tuesday afternoon for an appointment and was set by the following Thursday at 11am. All you need to do is email and ask to schedule for an appointment. They will email you back with a date, time and with further instructions. Once you reply back with the completed instruction via email you will receive an appointment conformation with further instructions. I highly recommend comming here than going up to Los Angeles. The young lady, Camille, did everything. She is awesome, super nice and helpful. Be sure to have the proper identification, a valid non expired state driver's license, state identification card, or passport. All identification needs to be valid and not expired.
Got here on time, place is easy to find ... the only problem is the parking. The parking lot across is a ripped off. They charge minimum 2 hours for $15 but it only took me less than 30 mins at the consulate office. Overall the visit at the consulate for a notary was pretty smooth. I would recommend going here instead of Los Angeles.
I think SD Consulate listened to the reviews here about not answering the phone and try to make it better. I called today and Rhea answered the phone, she’s very pleasant and polite. SD branch does authentication only, they don’t process dual citizenship, passports and visa.
This consolate is very inefficient processing of papers, it's no different when you are in philippines, slow motion employee ineffective the whole office basically is like you are in the philippines processing your papers. Very unprofessional.
You have the chance to make this better here. Setting an appointment is no use, no one picks up the phone. Went to the address and security won’t let you see them to book an appointment. Hay bayan kong Pilipinas.
Camille Balatbat was very helpful, informative, and efficient. It was a very quick process, and with the information she gave me I feel confident returning for additional services in the future.
When are you guys going to answer the phone ?? Can’t do appointments by email only thru phone but to lazy to answer the phone calls
It needs a lot of patience they’ll call you back and set the appointment date and time it takes weeks but it gets done.
