After seeing a five-star review, I have decided to give this church a try. I have been to their Sunday service, Thursday college night/connect groups, and tried to get involved with their college ministry for a couple of weeks now, and unfortunately I find it hard to get connected to people. It seems like most people in the college ministry already have closed cluster of friend groups that doesn't want anything to do with new people. Some of them even walked off on you when you approach them as an attempt to get to know then, and it seems like the leaders were too busy helping you get connected. It is contrary to what they preached to get connected with people. While it is true that no one should do their lives alone, it is impossible to do lives with those who don't like you, don't want you, or don't need you. I have also noticed that there are only a few, if not a handful of POC. If that is the reason why they don't want to connect with me, even as a new person to this church, that explains a lot.

Wow wow wow, I have nothing but amazing things to say about this church. We have been looking for a church for awhile now. At a lot of other churches, we have felt like a number and they were too large. Phoenix Bible Church does an amazing job of getting people connected and have plenty of groups to be apart of. Honestly what has made us keep coming back is their sound teaching from the Word of God. They look directly at Scripture and ask what does God want to speak to us. Pastor Tim bring things out in scripture that can be applied to real life and he doesn’t shy away from topics that need to be heard by the church today. The equip nights on Mondays are really solid to go deeper in your walk. The child care is so great and they have a great program and staff that welcome your kids and keep them safe. We have been going for 5 weeks and we believe we have found a place to call home.

If you want real people and lessons from God's word that challenge you this is the place for you, As a single again person and parenting I have found Bethany to be my home church. People here have not judged but loved and accepted. The Gospel is preached here and straight forward with no sugar coating to make you have warm fuzziness, no, it's the Truth! So, if you want God's Word to wrap around your life instead of you wrapping around it, this probably isn't the place for you. My son and I have been accepted with open arms, loved on and ministered to. There's a terrific Single and Parenting Class with incredible ongoing support, men's and women's classes and places for your children to fit in.

My son and I just moved here about 2 mos ago. Aaron has severe Autism and there were no programs for him where we live in Kingman. He has begun to get aggressive at times which was making it hard to attend Church.. I met Chris and others who have quickly come along side us, and are working to keep us successful every Sunday by having men volunterrs who accompany us who help Aaron stay under control...that~ as well as the sound teaching and spirit filled worship time has become the light we needed to prosper and thrive here. We have called this church home for over 3 years & simply cannot say enough good things about PBC! Solid preaching & teaching centered on God's Word, Holy Spirit led & empowered, and true to the gospel of Jesus. This is a true family of believers, who genuinely want to exalt Jesus above all else & serve His church & the city of Phoenix & beyond. The leadership creates a culture of honesty & grace while grounded in truth & it is reflected throughout the congregation. Beyond grateful to be able to call this body family!

I can't believe I've been going here four years and only NOW thought to write a review -- Phoenix Bible does a great job of making newcomers feel welcome and wanted and valued. It's small enough that I always see somebody I know, whether for a Sunday service or a picnic in the park or a special event like the recent Prayers & Pie night, yet not so small that I feel like things are stagnant...things are always evolving. Anytime I'm out of town on a weekend, I miss being there!

We went to there Christmas program thing and it was awesome we RSVP just like we saw on the flyer and it was very awesome they had pizza and cookies and fun arts and crafts stuff for the kids and for the parents and it was really awesome plus we love Bethany Bible Church because we have been there a few times seeing Justin Unger play we love him he's awesome to and they all love Jesus so you can't complain with that you should totally go there

Can I say God is good all the time? God put me in this church and I am not mad one bit. Amazing sermons, cut you deep to the heart. Loving people who talk to you and remember you lol. They believe in baptism in your own aka God's timing. They don't shove it down your throat. They have small groups. And classes that are so intimate and meaningful. I have only been here for 4 weeks but I am in love!

UPDATE: NO contact or response back! I would give Zero stars but the kiddos were so kind... It seems like a cookie cutter replica of so many other churches. I also noticed it was a dot com, not a dot org. Also, they support an orphanage organization that is also a dot com. The lead pastor emailed me a generic welcome so I wrote him back about the dot com thing but he never got back to me...

Bethany Bible Church is a great faith community. They are active in the community, working to help those in need. It is a welcoming place and we love all that it offers to our family. We enjoy how welcoming people are, how much help we receive and the many friends we have made. Through BBC we learn more and more about God, the Bible and how to live life to the fullest.

The disapointment of leaving a prayer card and only received one call. I wasn't able to speak to Pastor Tom because I was at work. However I did call him and twice but to no avail have I heard from him. I rather belong to a church that shows care & concern for thefmember's or is perhaps because I am still new that I have fallen to the bottom of his list?? .

My power was out I knocked on 6 doors in the neighborhood and NOONE would let me charge my car battery I went to the church and they let me put it on with open arms.... It was very nice I needed the blessing and kindness at that exact moment if they would have turned me away I would have lost a % oh love Thanks you BBC Good Bless

We did some install work here for audio/video/lighting stuff. We are believers yes but the staff we came in contact with were so friendly and seemed to be very in touch with serving in the Kingdom! Fun people. And they’re doing a great job bringing youthfulness to the building even though it’s not the most new facility.

When we first arrived in Phoenix we attended Bethany felt like we were home. My daughter was baptized and I rededicated myself to the Lord. We drove North a little bit to a small body of water. When we arrived trailers were there for us to change. It was absolutely beautiful.

I have been blessed by the people this church has introduced me to. The leaders here truly care and desire to be like Jesus (and admit they’re imperfect ). I look forward to how the Spirit will continue to move in this community as this church stays rooted in Him!

I have loved coming here with so many wonderful, friendly people and have gotten to join in serving and genuine community with others! So many people with hearts to love Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to him. :D

This is such a good church. I go to the Thursday Bible study. I have met a lot of members and they are so warm and kind. They have many classes, studies, and groups that they offer and are very generous.

Today Was our first Sunday as a family coming With our children and we loved it! The Word moved us for the week and very friendly people and felt at home can't wait for GOD to do great things ❤ …

Grew up going to this lovely cathedral. No one is pushy and it's a great Christian environment where all walks off life are welcome to join together in a Sunday morning fellowship.
