I gave them my laptop due to power issues and asked for diagnosis and a quote. They stated there is no charge for checking. They got back to my the next day and told me that the repairs would cost Dhs 480. I refused the repair and told them that I would come back later that day to collect my laptop. When I arrived to pick the laptop up, they say that they have fixed it. They held my device hostage and demanded that I pay them Dhs 480 for the "fix" that i refused. I feel in the process of reassembling, the laptop just started working. Hence dont belive the magical fix. It took several hours for me to regain possession of my device after they settled on a Dhs 250 charge. Why pay for a service that I have not requested. I still have the same power issue with my laptop that was supposedly "fixed". I have contacted the local consumer protection authorities and have reported this misconduct. As per consumer protection, verbal contracts are not valid. Kindly take an agreement or document or receipt even if it for no payment to protect and validate your claims and protect your yourself from such entrapment or issues.

I will not be coming back here for my repairs. The initial quoted price and time was doubled when collecting. I came to fix my phone on Saturday and was quoted 95AED and 30 min time to repair. However after coming back twice (after 35 min and 1 hour) I was told it would be fixed the next day on Sunday. The next day (Sunday) I got a call that it would actually be postponed to be fixed on Monday. Today I went to receive my phone and the price had jumped to 210 AED which is more than double the time and price I was initially quoted. Had I know all this I would have gone elsewhere but I was stuck with them by then. LONG TERM UPDATE - The back of the phone was sticking out and even though they gracefully agreed to have a look and reglue it, it is still sticking out. This is a backup phone now and it doesn’t get much use, I even left the tape on it for more than what they told me but it is still sticking out. Disappointed tremendously..

I brought in my MacBook Air late 2015 model into PZ Electronics because I needed to get the battery replaced (my first replacement in 8 years). I also had problems with the fan (I didn't know this at the time) which was causing my laptop to overheat, crash, and reboot. Meqdad and his team were extremely helpful and informative. They quickly fixed the problem, and I think that the prices they charged for their services were fair considering the type of high-level care and attention they offer in return. A+ and highly recommended! Would I go back again? The answer is yes. I have recently been experiencing touchscreen problems with my phone, and I will be going straight to PZ for service on my phone.
