Cozy little coffee shop on Broadway and 1 102nd St. This is a great spot to sit and read a book while having a cuppa tea or share some cookies with friends chatting over coffee. Servers are friendly and prices are reasonable. I only gave four stars for the food because they only had one vegan option in the entire display case. More
In a sea of terrible NYC coffee, at least these guys serve Stumptown. I wish there was a pour over option, but I ended up going with a drip and a cappuccino. Not the best renditions of Stumptown beans- the drip was particularly weak. But at least I could taste the fruity notes of the beans. More
Cute little spot with tasty homemade pastries. I got their drip coffee and my partner got an espresso and both are delicious. My drip coffee was smooth and strong and not too acidic. They have post milk and accept tap to pay, too. I tried their baklava which was a nice nosh. More
Interesting name and concept of peaky that u can see some hats hanging on the wall. The coffee is relatively dark roasted, not bad but not my thing. The Baklava from Turkey tastes nice, sweet and moist. Overall vibe is quite chill for a brief stay More
Delicious Americano in a cosy, friendly space. I love the different seating options. We sat at the window and then at the back on the yellow couch with a heater behind us (so warm and great). They have wifi and I appreciated the sign saying
Coffee is amazing, and I was coming here every day I was in the area. The vibe is great and a nice place to work Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, stay away from the pastries. They were old and stale, after one bite we couldn't keep eating
This cafe is beautiful inside, love the exposed brick wall and long table. Unfortunately the coffee was not good, it was very weak (could barely taste coffee at all) and the milk was overheated. The chai tasted watered down. We also got a
This place was discovered smack dab in the middle of COVID by me and my then BF a coffeeman in his own right. Now ever since I have discovered latte with heavy cream, nothing else seems good enough. This place managed to nudge me back to
I was excited to check this place out as it looked nice from outside, but I was very let down. The coffee was cold and not what I ordered. The staff were particularly rude; one lady specifically, I think the owner. There was a hair in my
Great local coffee shop location on 102nd and Broadway! Matcha and tumeric lattes are delicious and well made without any added sugars. Balkan coffee packs a punch and is delicious. I had the Nutella Roll, highly recommended! All of the
Drip coffee black was smooth but a bit too acidic. The two pastries I got (one was Nutella the other had some type of jam inside) weren’t great. Rather than being light and buttery or dense and moist, they were simply heavy, doughy, and
Coffee was a 3/5, very light. The slice of flakey quiche I had was bland and so saturated in oil I regretted eating it later, feeling kinda sick all morning. Atmosphere was a great spot to meet for coffee, but they chose the chairs for
I gave this place an extra star because the staff is so nice. But... the food and coffee was so bad that I can't in good conscience suggest anyone visit. We had two lattes that tasted like they were made with expired soy milk, and the
This spot is confused on what it wants to be. Peaky blinders inspired with white brick, Native American art, and Spanish music. All of those elements are wonderful on their own, but together seem perplexing. Came in at 12 pm and the
I stopped here after Capoeira. Really nice atmosphere, chill vibes and it is a place I where would love to sit down and read. The coffee was good, I got a cold brew. Hope to come back and try something else. Recommended. More
i love this place! every time i've gone, i've been able to find a place to sit and work which i'm so happy about. the espresso is delicious and rich which is something that's important to me. super cute and picturesque cafe.
This charming coffee shop tucked away in the bustling streets of NYC, has quickly become my favorite spot for a delightful caffeine fix. What sets this place apart is not just the quality of their coffee but the
Roberta was amazing! She was kind, and went out of the way to make my experience at picky barista the best possible. The coffee was excellent, and I highly recommend the Nutella roll which was delicious! More
Very cute decor. Ample seating. Nice music. Great amount of light from the windows. Tasty chai latte. WiFi is spectrum WiFi and only free for 30 minutes, so keep that in mind if you need it.
Employee made no eye contact with me and was interested in continuing her conversation with her colleague. And on top of that, gave me a look of disdain when I didn’t tip her. More
I love this place for a delicious and relaxing cup of coffee. It's small but cozy. You won't stay long, but the stay will be nice and welcoming. Great vibe. More
This is my regular place, the coffee is pretty good although I am not a huge fan of the pastries. It is the atmosphere that really does it for me though :) More
I had a very nice cappuccino. A REAL ONE. The steamed milk was at the right temperature. Definitely I will go back any time I find myself in the area. More
Food was average. They don't have a kitchen, so they only have premade food like croissants. The other Peaky Barista nearby has better food options. More
Super cute and nice working space but limited outlets so make sure you have charged laptops Con: no bathroom but bathroom nearby at bagel shop
The Capuccino is amazing! Loved this atmosphere, very chill. Perfect for an afternoon study-time or just to get a coffee with a friend. More
Best coffee shop in the Upper West Side. Peaky Barista ranks 5/5 on everything you need from a local coffee shop.
Delicious and friendly. The selection of bakery items are also so delicious. I love this place!
