I called them just minutes before closing with an urgent issue with my car key fob. It was 91 degrees outside, I was parked in the hot sun in a car with a pushbutton start that was not responding to the key fob. Pushbutton start vehicles do not have the ability to be started with a key, so I was well and truly stuck. Please note that I had not purchased the fob from them, I was just in a desperate situation and the local Buick dealership told me they were backed up and could not help me for 7-10 days! I had just heard someone recommending Pierre’s, so I called them. They quickly told me that they would send someone, and told me what the expected charges would be. The technician, Flip, showed up quickly and with a smile on his face and a calm, reassuring demeanor that really helped to relieve my stress. He was pleasant and professional and was able to quickly solve the issue without having to reprogram the fob and to give me some tips on what to do if a similar problem occurs in the future. In the end, he did not charge me the price that had been quoted to me because he felt that the issue was resolved so quickly and easily that it was not warranted. Having just returned from an unexpected trip out of state to take care of my 85 year old mother who had fractured her neck in a fall, and having to replace an expensive tire that was damaged on the trip, I was so very grateful for his ethics and compassion. This business has earned my respect, appreciation and all of my future locksmith needs for LIFE!

My electronic car key stopped working after not using it for a long period of time. I replaced the battery with s new one and it still did not work. I assumed that the key needed to be reprogrammed and called Pierre's Lock Shop based on it being the locksmith closet to where I was when I decided to check with a locksmith. The gentleman who answered was polite and friendly. He confirmed that they do work on electronic car keys and could reprogram mine. He told me I could just come over at the time and five minutes later I was in the shop. He took the key, opened it, and said, "There's the problem." He took out the battery, reinserted it, and tested it on the car. It worked. My problem was simple -- I had put in the battery backwards. He didn't charge me and I thanked him, but I also told him I knew where I would be going any time I had problems with keys or locks in the future. And I will go back but not because he didn't charge me anything. I will go back because he clearly was knowledgeable, professional, customer-oriented and didn't make me feel like an idiot for putting the battery backward. Many folks would have acted differently and alienated a potential customer. Instead, he converted a first-time drop-in to a potential long-term customer. With his attitude, that gentleman would be successful in any field.

This is definitely a place you want to go when looking for re keys and or to switch locks if you have a camper topper for your truck. I was having a super hard time finding a store front to start with. It seemed like every locksmith I went to from google was bringing me to some apartment complex for some reason. Anyways, I finally stumbled upon these guys. Let me tell you I couldn't of found a better place. All the guys were super friendly and wanted to help. Huge shout out to Greg for helping me with everything. This guy walked out, took one of my locks out just to see if they could go further with the locks and decided there was just not really any option to continue with the locks I currently had. They said they'll have new locks that are exactly the same in a few days. Sure enough. Monday rolled around and I stopped by and had them replaced in less than 10 minutes! These guys went above and beyond for me and being a previous store manager, it shows alot when someone will take the time to exhaust ever resource they have with you to take care of your problem. Thank you again Greg for all the help. Will come back if I need anything else!

I had a steel exterior door that the lock was not functioning properly in. Mike did get it opened. I asked them to order me a replacement Yale lock (same lock) to replace it. Two days later Mike shows up and all but destroyed my door with a drill. They ordered a knock off brand and a completely different lock for some reason and proceeded to drill numerous holes in the door to the point he gave up. Why in the world would you do this to a door? Pierre came out and sent Mike off. Pierre left and came back with part of a Yale lock that looked to be 20 years old, drilled more holes and got the lock working, but left my door a mess (see pictures). This cost me $315 and they didn't offer to repair my door. I'm sure they are OK popping cars open, but DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON A COMMERCIAL DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to refrain from the review, but they didn't even offer to repair the door.

I only have positive things to say about Pierre's Lock Shop. I had a unique and baffling issue with my car and the team made every effort to fix it. The problem initially began as what I thought was a problem for a locksmith, but became something much more than that. I really appreciate the fact that they went out of the way to help me when they had no obligation to fix an issue not within their typical spectrum of service. Greg was my original point of contact for this issue, and he was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, personable and professional. I would later say the same about Pierre himself after meeting and speaking with him about the resolution. I was billed more than fairly for their time spent on a complicated issue. I HIGHLY recommend Pierre's Lock Shop. The team is full of competent professionals that do the job and do it right! Thanks team!

Locked my keys in my car (again) like a dumb-dumb (it happens more often than I'd like to admit), and was sent a smith from Pierre's after calling AAA. He was super friendly, got there quickly, had the door open in no time flat, and I was back in business (until next time, anyway.) Fast, friendly, and amazing service! I would recommend Pierre's to anyone, anytime. Update 11/20/17: Did it again yesterday on break at work (I did say it happens a lot), and was sent Pierre's again. They got there in 10 minutes, so I barely inconvenienced my co-workers! Thanks again, Pierre's! Update 12/6/17: Did it again today, which I think is a record for me. Clearly I'm doing something wrong in my life. Does Pierre's make copies of car keys? Asking for a friend.

The guy came to rekey me after I lost my key and having a ruff day. After spending 2 hours with me he discovers that it’s not working and says he has to leave to go to the shop for another key. I then reply and ask if I could use the key that doesn’t work to stay warm in my car while I wait for them to come back. They refused, which they also tried to charge me $125 for a key that did not work. So, they left me in the cold at my car waiting for them to return. This is by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! They have cold hearted people working for them. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense, I’m sooooo upset about this treatment and will be filing with the BBB.

I will never go anywhere else. They will go above and beyond your expectations. I've used them in the past with a great experience every time. The most recent time I lost my keys and I was not aware that my ignition lock had been changed. The technician came by and made my key based on the doors and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working in the ignition. So instead of just saying "oh well" they came back the next day and took apart my ignition and made a separate key for that, and didn't even charge me for it!! Talk about good customer service! Seriously going anywhere else would be a foolish mistake. Use Pierre's. Thanks again guys.

Walked in to get a car key cut and seen the sign stated 10-15 bucks for a car key I’ve had the same key cut for 3 other vehicles and have paid 15-20 dollars. The heavy set fellow at the counter said he could cut it no problem and took the key he asked what type of car it goes to I told him an Audi I could see him thinking then he tells me it’s 45 dollars to cut the key with no programing. I told him no thanks the dealer charges 20 dollars. I went to ace hardware down the street and paid 10 dollars to get it cut. He heard that it was an Audi key and thought he could pull a fast one on me people like him give businesses bad names!

Called AAA for help with keys locked in the car. Zach calls me and says it would be a 45 minute wait. 30 minutes later I called for an update and was told 30 minute wait still. 30 minutes after that I called for an update and my guy Zach decides to tell me if I want updates I need to call AAA and HANGS UP on me instead of just answering the question. He eventually shows up about another 30 minutes later, well over an hour and a half wait total. I had been very respectful to Zach so far but I did not appreciate him hanging up on me. Unprofessional and uncalled for. He did get my keys out of the car though.

I have used this shop for several years for roadside assistance and always have a good experience. When I had a need to get new key fobs and actually visit a shop, I called them first. I’m glad I did. They pride themselves on customer service and it shows. Yesterday I worked with Adam and chatted with Kevin while I waited. It turned a mundane errand into a fun start to the day. From my initial call with Adrian to visiting the shop, the friendliness was top notch. Even the pricing was more affordable than I expected. Which was a huge plus. I highly recommend them for quality and honest service.

Very professional staff. Shop is organized and inviting. Prices were below average. Customer service was great. I mean great: walk in, be greeted in a way one feels welcome, acknowledge what one needs then have it done in no time and with a smile. I needed commercial building specialty keys. They had them in-stock. I asked for a replacement fob with key for my Chevy van I did not have with me - in-stock and for $110 compared to over $200 in every other place I inquired about. Next time in Jacksonville I will come with that van to have a key made. Needless to say in Pierre's Lock Shop.

Went in because i lost my key fob. They wanted $45+ tax. Same day went to Amazon, ordered it (and got 2) for less than $15 with shipping and tax. If you need something immediate, i guess they will work. But if you can wait one day, there are better values out there. Edit: After I left this review the owner decided to contact me though Facebook. He was completely rude and and unprofessional in my opinion. He didn't comprehend my review in which i said if in a need immediately they would work, but if you can wait a day Amazon is a better value, which is all i rated this place on.

AAA couldn't ask for a better locksmithing team to service this area! Dan showed up to help me with a broken car key almost immediately after I placed the call. Alex showed up not long after to provide some backup with the lock/ignition. I had my key shortly after. Went back to their shop in the morning to get the jammed lock fixed, the "ears" put back on my ignition, and a second backup key. Greg and Pierre were honest, friendly, and very fair with their pricing. Any future locksmithing issues I have will be handled by this crew. Fantastic!

Great experience!!! I called to see if they had a key fob for an older minivan. He checked and said that one was in stock and I could stop by anytime without an appointment. He said it would not take long to cut and program. I showed up within the hour and they spent less than 15 minutes making the key work for my vehicle. They were very professional and quick with their service and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for car key fob needs. On top of the great service, they were less than half the cost of the local dealerships!

When I contacted AAA about losing my car key fob, a locksmith from Pierre's was quick to respond. My truck key broke in half on this sunday morning. I called AAA and was dispatched an employee of Pierre's. He was there 30 minutes sooner then we were told, he made me a new key on the spot without issue, and had me wrapped up in less time then originally expected. I was impressed with the professionalism and service 1000%. I was even more impressed that he took 2 halves of a key that was 11 years old and nailed the template on the first try. 10 stars

The only lock shop I would recommend. I was able to bring my smaller safe to his shop since it was locked and I had lost the keys. Within minutes he made new keys for me. Cost $12. Other locksmiths didn't have shop location, they had to come to you thereby charging you a service call. Them they have a minimum of $85 on top of that to open even the smallest 2 minute to open safe. It would have cost me $110.00 with any other locksmith.

Needed a duplicate key for a storage cabinet. Ace did not have the blank. Sent me to Pierre's. They did not have it either. Researched, found it was an international key. Price would be $35 for the first key just because they had to order a minimum of 10. They then Googled the company and found I could order the exact key from Amazon! So thankful for their thoroughness and persistence to find a reasonable solution!

I was paired with this shop through AAA, and I will certainly use them in the future, if needed, regardless of going through AAA or not. Taylor was the locksmith that helped me and he was fantastic. I bought a car about a month ago that came with only one key, so I needed a spare. I went there yesterday to the shop and the guys there was amazing answered all my quiestions. I am a AAA member and Pierre's LockShop was the locksmith that came to the rescue. I was told by the operator that the wait would be about an hour to send someone, and that was pretty spot on time-wise. The locksmith was friendly and efficient. Good experience (as good as it can be when you've locked your keys in your car)

This was our second time using these guys. First time it was changing the locks to our RV. The guy was very kind, knowledgeable and his tools were cool (so I purchased one for myself lol). Today another gentleman took care of us. They are just very kind and helpful. Even gave us bottles of water. Very happy with them!
