Disability Talks and Pilgrim Uniting together prepared a great, fun Christmas Party We had great food, danced, laughed, and enjoyed time together. We all felt a sense of belonging. For that, we need to thank Pilgrim Uniting Church (Ros and Ikani) who allowed us to use their hall and play music as loud as possible. (we apologioze for the noise) Well done to all of you!!! Once again, we have proven how valuable teamwork is. Disability Talk wishes for the New Year to do more of these events, spend time together, and see more people joining us. I moved into the area in November 2021,from NSW . To be near my small Family . I hardly knew anybody. Soon I found my Church home ,the Pilgrim. I was met right from day one. With Toal friendliness ,& Graham showed me around . And told me some of the History ,of the Church . We have a kind & Caring new Pastor,in Ikani .And his lovely wife & Family are a Blessing.Our lovely Church Building ,is over 90 yrs old. I feel truly Blessed ,to be a member of our vibrant Congregation. Pat.

Once ate a mcrib on the front steps of this fine establishment. Not a religious man myself but I surely felt the presence of a divine spirit whilst enjoying that munch. A pleasant experience.
