I recently had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at the Pink Elephant Haweli and loved the experience. Located in the heart of the Pink City, this heritage building has been expertly converted by a local entrepreneur into a warm and welcoming bed and breakfast for travellers wanting an authentic experience when they come to Jaipur. Staff were attentive and helpful at all times, the room was spacious and comfortable, and it was the perfect way to experience the many sights and sounds of Rajasthan's historic capital.

Our stay at Pink Elephant was truly unforgettable. Abishek and Jasline (sorry is I mispelt your names) were amazing and were so warm in welcoming us as if part of their family. They were so accommodating and had vast knowledge of their city which they are more than willing to share. I had a bout with the stomach bug during my stay and the entire hotel team were genuinely concerned and offered whatever they could to help. Thank you again! The other reviews are correct in that they have the BEST rooftop view of Jaipur, truly magical. We’ll be definitely staying here again if ever in Jaipur, and will recommend the same for our family and friends who visit. P.S Jasline, your Chole was delicious. You’ll need to include it on your menu more regularly.

Pink Elephant is the brain-child of a young entrepreneur suited to the luxuries of "the good life" and at the same time steeped in the cultural heritage of the great state of Rajasthan. Be it the Jaipuri tiles in the bathroom, the memory foam mattresses on your bunk beds or the artificial lawn in the balcony; The Pink elephant is the adaptation of an age old style in a new 21st century fashion of grandiosity! Do not miss the terrace cafe hosted by the wonderful Jasleen. Be sure to ask Abhishek- the God of hospitality managing the hostel for recommendations on Classical Rajasthani food- The Keema Baati or laal maans....what have you! Sodhani is an all time favorite for its jalebis (courtesy Abhishek). In my Opinion a trip to Jaipur is incomplete without a visit to the Pink Elephant!

Had a nice stay at Pink Elephant, the owner is so friendly and available, he even prepared us a pack breakfast as we had to leave early for the train at check out. Location is good, can walk easily to several mainsites in town The only complain I have is that the hot water boiler takes long time to heat up and only last for very short time (for 1-2 min before it starts getting cold quickly). So during the winter time it is a bit tough especially for those who has long hair. It seems to be a pretty common problem we encounter in India in budget hotels.

I stayed at Pink Elephant for 3 nights, and I was absolutely happy to be there. The owner and the staff are very very attentive and always there to help you. The hostel was really clean, quiet and cozy, and it has a beautiful interior which makes me feel good The breakfast was super good as well! They make sandwiches, Nutella toast or traditional food for you. It's true that it's located in a little sketchy alley, and it doesn't have an overhead shower, but it didn't really bother me. I prefer to have a bucket with hot water to an overhead shower with cold water. I felt a very warm welcome every day, and I will come back someday :) Thank you so much! See you again

Really nice stay! The breakfasts were really good and were different each day. Location was good, right in the thick of it all however I didn’t hear much noise at night so was allgood. Found the rooms spacious and comfortable. Nice and clean and staff were very friendly. The shower pressure was not good and unsure if the tuk tuk driver was honest about this “guru” guy. Kind of got weird about it and it really stressed me out to the point of a mini meltdown. Other than that it was a good stay and would recommend as it’s great value for money.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per sette notti. Nonostante avessimo il bagno in comune è stato il miglior soggiorno della nostra esperienza di tre mesi in India. It was a great stay. The owner made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The workers were all friendly and again was there to help at anytime. The breakfast was so delicious! And the rooftop is incredible, watching the sunsets and kite flying and monkeys from the rooftop was our highlight! The beds were a little hard and maybe one day the owner will change the mattresses.

Sonu,Talim and Golu were the guys that took great care of the place and guests. The location is in the heart of the city and in excellent proximity to many restaurants and tourist sites. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Definitely recommend.

JUST PERFECT !!! Best place during my trip in India, everything is good, bed, breakfast, services, clean wc and showers. Everyone in the hostel is helpful and kindly.. Location is very good and quiet. Little tips if you want to go to Amber Fort you can take a bus just 50m near the hostel the bus AC5 for 21Rps and go directly to the Fort in 35min, you can also stop before to see the water palace "Jal Mahal" :)

Abhishek Joshi - The owner of the hostel is a excellent host! He treats all his guests with warmth. His wife Jasleen is equally nice and made us some really good food. I repeat real good. The bunkers beds, restroom cleanliness, other trivia are taken care of at all times. Also, the staff is friendly and co-operative. Pink Elephant makes you feel at home. The next time I'm in Jaipur, I know where to stay!!

The hotel is not bad but the area around is extremely dirty and smelly (you would think that’s normal for India but we stayed in 3 more cities before that and this was the worst). It is also very difficult (maybe impossible) to reach with car so you might need to walk a bit from the main road. The breakfast was good.

Very very happy to stay there. Owner is very jolly and helpful. Staff is also good and helpful. Home like feelings during stay. Breakfast is healthy and tasty. Main draw back is location as connected road/street is very dirty.

This was our favorite hotel in Jaipur, it has hot water, home made breakfast, and clean rooms, the rooftop areas have amazing views, and it's in a very safe area in town, the owners are very friendly and have taken care of us well. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had two Perfect nights at the Pink Elephant! Really friendly owner, he helped with everything! If we come back to Jaipur we stay there again. I just highly recommend that hotel!

11 of our friends stayed here and I must say this is perfect hostel.... stay , the bed condition and the hygiene was really well maintained.

Ambience , service , all great and that too at a reasonable price + it's location is awesome. It's connected to all of the jaipur.
