I been a black card member for years so I was excited to try out the new location and switch this to my home location as its close to home. Being new its clean and feels open and bright which is great. However my last keychain barcode broke off and got lost somewhere so I asked the attendant to pull me up by phone number to check in. He reminded me about the app and I replied I dont have it downloaded to keep open space on my phone. As he looked me up he proceeded to tell me that I would need to download the app because "they weren't going to be putting in phone numbers everytime to check in." I replied oh I dont have that trouble at other locations but can you provide a replacement keychain card just yet. He replied " nah we dont have those here." I'm used to friendly or atleast somewhat friendly service from PF. The two attendants were just standing far back behind the counter as if they didnt want to do any light work for customers (literally punch in a number to look up a person. Took less than 1 minute,) but are getting paid to do that as their job. So gym is nice, clean, but service attitude is keeping my first impression from 5 stars.

Giving this place 5 stars because it was desperately needed in this area. Thank you for opening a planet fitness here, I know I'm not the only one who neglected a portion of my health due to the other PF being located about 15-20 minutes away. Hopefully those who signed up recently will get some sort of credit to their account. To everyone who is giving bad reviews just because of the amount of time it is taking to open this facility- I hate to say it but I'm almost 100% sure none of your lives are perfect. You are not perfect, you have never been 100% on time or successful at anything or else you wouldn't be relying on this PF to open. In fact, lets just be honest, the majority of this country is Obese so the chances that you're this big fitness jock in critical need of an affordable "no judgement" gym is slim to none. Stop kidding yourself. I'm saying this because the owners/managers of this club cannot and most people who are REALLY looking forward to this PF opening are being silent and patient. Thank you again PF

Update, facility is open it’s beautiful inside I have been at this for 50+ years In gyms of all sizes and intensity and this facility being new and very well conceived is one of the best and for the money it is the best. Matrix the equipment mfg has out smarted it self as some of its newer equip designs are not as good as some previous generations IMHO but to each his own. Time will tell how it works with peak hours but for a day one opening that was long anticipated it is all any human being could ever want or need to improve their health at a ultra fair price, all you have to do is bring the effort and consistency. I look forward to utilizing this facility often. If you ever wondered what managerial incompetence looks like look no further than this opening and more importantly the communication or lack thereof. I responded to reply from owner as suggested by visiting the link provided and expressed my thoughts .

This location is clean, convenient and quiet. It also offers more than enough room and fitness equipment to aid one in achieving his/her fitness goals. I especially love the amenities offered to Black Card members. Customer service is great, I really enjoy chatting and catching a laugh with my boy Etheran who I’ve met since becoming a member, he’s always a big help and Josh is super informative as well. Hopefully this Planet Fitness location can maintain its cleanliness and amazing staff but I’m almost certain as long as that awesome Jill remains on the team cleanliness will not be an issue. Every time I come in to visit Jill is either vacuuming, wiping down equipment or making sure the paper towel dispensers are full and that is greatly appreciated.

Obviously very new and clean but I have a few minor issues. I’ll start with the positives though, there is plenty of space for benches and dumbbell racks which is a big problem with other Planet Fitness locations. All machines are in brand new condition and there are plenty of hydro massage and massage chairs. The negatives are that they do not have any MTS machines at all, the space they have is way too large not to add more smith machines or others in general and the cleaning stations are very inconveniently placed. Overall I like the gym and it is a great location. Hopefully they will continue to add machines and improve.

I love this planet fitness! It is so clean and the staff is pleasant. Only downfall, which is not Planet Fitnesses fault, are the men who loiter around the parking lot in front of the Vape store or Chex Wings. It becomes uncomfortable, as a woman who works out late to come to a parking lot with sometimes 30 plus men smoking weed and just hanging out. The men never make any trouble but it is a weekday at 10 pm so I can’t figure out why they are there if they are not working out. There needs to be security at night.

I had my first unpleasant experience tonight. I’m unsure why we have to pay 25 dollars for the black card spa membership if you’re told at 9:38 that this location closes the spa at 9:30. I feel like if I pay the money for the spa it should be open until closing not 30 minutes before closing. In that case it should be more clear that you can’t use the spa then. I feel like I got ripped off in a way because after a tense workout I can’t go relax my muscles like I pay for. Extremely disappointed

Well, now that it's open, I'm SO happy it is. It's really nice to work out with brand new equipment and lots of space. There's also a LOT of cleaning supplies which I greatly appreciate. There are small lockers with number locks outside of the locker rooms as well as bigger ones in the locker rooms, but you need to bring your own lock for those. I've never seen a machine that counts your reps and time on/off, so that was a really neat surprise!

It would be great if this gym was open when they said it would be, I hate driving to freedom drive to work out when I’m 2 minutes away from this one. Don’t send out flyers saying it Now Open and when you get there it’s a note on the door. Very unprofessional and not good for business. I have seen 3 dates of when this gym was opening. Which today was one of them and what happened, still not open. Smh.

Came on a day that all of CMPD was in the parking lot for a homicide shooting, the staff wouldn’t charge my account for a bottle of water (I have the black membership) and expected me to go back out in the swarm of police and news crews to get $1. All other clubs I’ve visited charged my account and kept it moving. I wish I had more hands, so I could give this experience 4 thumbs down

A girl named Kayla come in and opens late 10 minutes this is the second time I’ve had to wait until 7:10 to go into the gym on a Sunday. It’s May 28th , 2023 what I’m confused planet fitness dosent pay there workers to come into to work to open 10 or 15 minutes early this has been 2 times it’s happened I didn’t say anything the first time. But totally unacceptable my time is valuable.

The process to get signed up was quick informative and fast. I was able to sign up then hit the gym in that order. The gym is never too full and the community there is there is all business. I asked tons of questions when I got to the gym and customer service was friendly and gave the impression there were no dumb questions now I knew I had asked a couple BUT they didn’t show it!

Love the new location. It’s spacious & clean. My only gripe is they have significantly fewer cleaning stations compared to other PFs. You have to walk super far to get to a spray bottle in some spots which seems poorly thought out. I don’t mind walking but it gets confusing when someone else hops on your machine before you clean it since you had to walk halfway across the gym.

This place is ridiculous… Got to the gym at 5:30 Am to a note on the door. ”CLOSED PLUMBING ISSUES” App says it’s open and Google says it’s open. It took them for every to open the location and now this… without letting the customers know. There are like 10 people in the parking who drove all the way early in the morning. Manager do not care or respect customer’s time.

That beautiful new car smell. A bigger layout when I heard it was only half of the bills. Wish it had a couple of different achiness that you'll find at Belmont but it's ok. 8 stair masters and 4 bench press machines. Followed by 8 benches near the free weight sections. They def hit the high traffic areas. Well done. Will take have more pics next time I go.

I came in scanned by code, the rep stopped me. Told him it was urgent for me to use the bathroom, he insisted on talking to me, standing in the middle of the floor about to use the bathroom on on myself, steady telling him "I have to use the bathroom" No humanity, he needs to be gone from this location. He humiliated me on purpose.

I was so confused about something and it was actually very trivial, but I called and spoke to a young lady Zenia (idk if I’m spelling that correctly) but she was so polite and helpful despite how confused I was! I’m excited to be back at planet after taking a small break to try out another gym❤️ Great customer service!! 10/10

Updating to 4 Stars (location now open). I got emailed that the club is open and drove by to confirm its officially open! just my luck I caught a spring cold the weekend they open. Will have to wait until I wont spread the sickness before I can start implementing my post covid recovery program regularly at this location.

The gym is open now, I get up at 7 in the morning, drive all the way there and its closed. 7 cars waiting in the parking lot all disappointed. At this point it’s a waste of time and they will have to learn how to communicate properly. If your going to be closed unexpectedly at least send an email and save us the drive.

This is a new planet Fitness to our area. The gym size is immaculate. There's plenty of room. Plenty of equipment in the month that I've been going here. I've not had to wait on one thing. People are not on their phones as much. The staff is really nice. The gym is very clean. Glad to call this my new home!!

We have been trying to be patient, but are so incredibly anxious and excited and past ready to walk into this PF. I'm looking forward to being one of the regulars!!! I understand it takes time, but we've been watching opening dates come and go, and it's staring to hurt my feelings.

Nice place to work out. More spacious than belmont location and updated massage from belmont. The times are wrong on Google. I was told that Monday thru Thursday is 24 hours. Door says 24/5 which is actually 24/4. Just wish they would stay open until at least midnight on weekends.

If you’re not going to open at least update Google to say as such! I’ve driven up here twice because based off of Google the facility is open! I don’t know what the hold up is but, I hope this is not an indication of how management will run PF once it FINALLY opens!

This location hasn’t been open 2 years yet and they have already received this one star review. I had to quit my job which resulted in me dialing back on expenses for a moment. I went into the location to cancel my membership as advised and

You all opened up to close only days later. But instead of providing me a partial refund of my membership fee you all rather advise me to visit another location, unacceptable. Thank you for coming to my neighborhood but please stay open.

What do you need from the community to help you get opened? You would be surprised the amount of help and support waiting for you if you just ask! Starting a business isn't easy but any amount of help may make for a smooth transition.

I love my PF at Rozelle’s Crossing! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The facility is always clean and vibrant, conducive for a successful workout. Black Card amenities are always readily available which is a big plus for me!

Friendly staff and clean gym. The only downside is the limited number of free weights,certain gym goers hogging up a lot of the machines or dumbbells for over an hour, and some of the machines not properly keeping count of your reps.

Super happy the doors are open and it's such a beautiful facility!! Looking forward to being a weekly regular. I hope the atmosphere over time remains chill like it was today. Future will tell the tell but so far so good on day one!

Brand new. Very clean and huge. Rows and rows of cardio machines. Affordable rates. Great location. EDIT: not enough cleaning stations or trash cans around. Should be one more near the front. At least a trash can near the front.

Is this facility ever going to open? There's not even a phone number to call and inquire, the opening date has changed multiple times. Will there be any type of credit for the people that signed up expecting a January opening??

Been dying for a Planet Fitness in this area, thank you for opening one! I was previously driving to Belmont but that started to become too much of an hassle. Already signed up and patiently waiting for this location to open.

Great territory for this Planet Fitness location. Equipment is new and updated to more modern machines. They only have 5 cleaning stations so you have to hike to clean your equipment. Overall pleased with staff and gym.

Love having a gym closer to home. This facility was very clean today and staff were friendly. Tons of room between machines and more cardio machines than other PF's I've been to. I hope it stays this nice.

Glad to have a Planet Fitness in Mount Holly area. Neat and well-maintained, it offers a seamless workout experience. The fantastic equipment and friendly staff make every visit enjoyable and productive.

Love this particular planet fitness. It is always clean and the workers are all very nice and welcoming. I rarely get gym anxiety going here and they have a wide array of equipment for a Planet Fitness!

Great looking facility! The equipment is in superb condition, like brand new, never been used before. The workouts I've been imagining myself doing here have been phenomenal.

First time coming here and so far, so good! Guys working the desk were nice, everything is clean, equipment is newer, and I'm glad it's much closer for me than Belmont.

Not bad, could definitely do without non members in the bathroom taking showers. Also slow opening up, too many times in Sunday morning it’s not open at 7.

Took over the old bilo store. It was the last location in the Charlotte area. Very disappointed with southeastern grocers desicion to drop the bilo banner

This is the largest Planet Fitness I've found. It's not too busy and the machines are always available. I will start going to this location instead.
