While what the facility generally offers for the kids is great, I was extremely disappointed with their imposed timeline for cleanup for my daughter’s party. We paid hundreds for a mere 90-minute party. But 20 minutes before the party is over they start taking down all your decorations and packing your things up—what feels like them starting to kick you and your guests out so you are out promptly at the end of your 90 minutes. The look of confusion/discomfort on my guests’ mothers faces said it all. It was embarrassing to me. I even asked some of the decorations to stay up longer; they came down anyway. They claimed they have to do this to get ready for the next party and to clean for Covid. But I didn’t pay for the next party’s setup. They could staff to accommodate the schedule they set for their parties. And after we were all out, from what I saw through the windows, their pace of cleaning didn’t appear expeditious. After all the planning and time I put into the party (I decorated myself), I didn’t appreciate feeling like we were all being rushed out well before our party ended. I didn’t have time to just enjoy the end of the party with my daughter after all the cake and stuff because I had to deal with them cleaning/packing up. Their justification is also that the kids don’t notice because they are playing in another area. That wasn’t true. My daughter did notice. And even if she hadn’t—does that matter? A birthday party is for the family and guests too. It ends with everyone feeling kicked/rushed out. This upset me and my family way more than it did my daughter. If I had known this before we booked, we probably would have come up with a plan B given the price tag. Response to below: you do a lot more than just clean up the food/drink area and take presents out to the car. You actually tear down the decorations, which sends a clear message of “get out” way before the party ends. Thirty minutes of set-up time before the party doesn’t offset the twenty minutes of actual party time taken away at the end. If I were running a business, if someone booked a 90 minute party, they would get a 90 minute party. I certainly wouldn’t spring on them the day before their party that I plan to start taking all decor down 20 minutes early. Maybe this was disclosed in some fine print somewhere. If so, then my bad. But when I booked a 90 minute party, that’s what I expected to get - not a 70 minute party and then 20 minutes of the kids simply being permitted to use the play area while we get kicked out.

Well, this is the second time I came. The first time there wasn’t a lot of kids. Due to this we didn’t notice they didn’t have a lot of toys. However, today it was pretty full and there really wasn’t a lot of toys. We also got a lot of stares when we first walked in. It felt very comfortable. It’s not very diverse in there mainly whites. And well… it’s not usually an issue but from when we went there it was extremely awkward. When my son wanted to play with a toy there was no turns for him. He was starting to cry so I directed to a different play area. Basically alone, but as soon as we went in the parents would trace their kids out. For reference I’m Hispanic and my son is half African and half Hispanic. We didn’t even stay there 20 min before we got the feeling we were not welcome. Also idk if the desk girls were trying to warn me, they kept saying they couldn’t run my card and that they may need to manually run it. Idk if it was intentional to make me feel uncomfortable, or a warning that I should go, or just a glitch. Either way the price was about 14 bucks. Not bad but again idk if we will come back. They really need to invest in more toys.

I was invited to a child's birthday party at the Dallas location. The bad: the birthday child isn't allowed to open presents during the hour and a half party time. I noticed about 30 minutes before the end of the party the staff started to try to gather up the birthday supplies to get a head start on "clean up." They were also asking for payment during this time. The party is reserved for an hour and a half and you are taking time away from the birthday kids parent's by asking for payment and asking which supplies they want to keep or throw away. Payment should be made after the party is complete. The parents pay and reserve the building for an hour and a half. If the parents want to use part of that time opening presents, they should be allowed to. The good: There was plenty of toys for all of the children to play with. The stations that are set up are very interactive and all of the kids seemed to have a great time hoping from station to station. There is plenty of room for adults and children (although more sitting room would be nice). Plenty of parking for all the guest.

I really enjoy finding new places to take my children and have fun experiences, as they love to play dress up and imaginative play I couldn’t wait to bring them here. Very unfortunate to feel unwelcome. The older lady with brown hair essentially watched us the entire time, i greeted her and when she didn’t greet back I figured maybe she didn’t work there. When I seen everyone wearing the same “play” shirts I realized I was wrong in addition to her walking behind the counter to the register. Everyone else working there seemed fine but she made my entire party uncomfortable watching our every move, walking to the areas we were in to see what we were doing never asking if we needed help or trying to greet us. Definitely need some diversity and kindness training, if I didn’t know any better I’d bet she’s been working there a long time and watches all of the minorities that way. I really enjoyed the concept of this place but for this reason we won’t be back.

My kids were having a wonderful time ......until a staff member addressed my child “I’m not going to tell you again not to throw” A: He wasn’t throwing! B: He is two. C: I was walking around cleaning up after our children even though I do not have to. I thought this was a place for kids to play. The poor kid was scared after that and just wanted to go home. I’m so disappointed. In the future I would think it would be great if they address the parents of little ones like that. However, I will probably not be going back. We discussed this but it was not done in the manner which you are leading others to believe. My child was scared (a 2 year old) and said he was ready to go home. Your staff member was annoyed picking up toys and he was dropping them on the floor. It is neither her nor there. Justification of this on your part ensures that not only will I not be back but neither will anyone I know.

The future of play places is here. Play street is taking TX by storm and for good reason. Incredibly friendly staff, a huge variety of toys, super clean, 2 big restrooms, bright natural light, inexpensive...and most importantly, an overcrowding prevention platform! Kids can play all they want for about $12. Open to all M-F. Closed on the weekends for private parties. Something for ages 1-6. Parents, bring your water or coffee and relax. Keep the other outside food and drink at home and instead turn in your wooden token for a snack as you leave. It will keeps the little ones from falling asleep on the way home - they will be tired. Tips: Get there early if it's a cold or rainy day since it will fill up fast. Bring in a diaper bag since the restrooms are clean and have changing stations. Although you can re-enter, you don't want to lose your spot if you need to run out to the car.

Called in ahead of time and spoke to Cabrea who confirmed they would let me use a voucher from the Plano location so that my son could join his cousin who had a 5 day pass at this location. Packed up a 2 month old and a 2 year old and walked up to the counter to use the pass and was greeted by a male and female who stated that I was told incorrectly and I asked where Cabrea was and they pointed to her but stated they were the owners so there was nothing Cabrea could do as they have the final say. All they did was ask me to fill out the form and pay. They watched me pack up my two kids with no remorse for misleading a customer and no recognition that I could have been a repeat paying customer had they let me in. I will not visit this establishment again and would not recommend anyone else to do so.

  • Mariah Fowler

We attended a birthday party here recently and the facility was wonderful. Kids present ranged in age from 1 -6 years. Primarily 5-6 year olds and they had a fantastic time! There is something for everyone. The staff were less than helpful. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the two girls working did not deliver what was paid for and planned by the family who hosted the party. I would bring my child here to play any time but I would never spend hundreds of dollars to have a birthday party here after the very poor customer service I witnessed.

6/16/22 - 13:00 HRS DISAPPOINTED! The place is clean, and well maintained, however, during our visit a mom walks in with her children to play and the youngest one (possibly 3 or 4) throws up before they enter the play area. Now, I'm not a health expert or anything but with reason if that was my child I will take her home and call it a day. To avoid, possibly another incident, or spread of any potential stomach bug or something. The staff allowed them to stay and play in area. A place that prides itself in cleanliness and waivers and such SHOULD NOT allow children or adults who are not feeling well in a play area with other children!

  • Alyssa Graham

I am extremely pregnant and had my daughters party here today. It went SO smooth and they were so helpful and hands on. I did literally nothing but talk with my friends and family and enjoy celebrating my daughter, they handled everything else. 10/10 recommend. It was such an amazing party. The girls were so sweet and we will be back of course just to play! If you wondering if the price is worth it, IT IS. Entire place to ourselves and all the kids had a blast. Big thank you to the girls who were so hands on and made everything go so smoothly.

This is a great location for imaginative and pretend play. Our toddlers loved it! There are different stations and a variety of costumes to keep any child entertained. We came as part of a birthday party and the set up for that was perfect. Update: We hosted our daughter's birthday party at Playstreet this week and it was a great experience. The staff was super helpful and the kids loved it.

This is a great place to take your child. There is a bunch of things your little one can do here. There is a huge lego/blocks table in the middle. There is also a play house with almost all the thing you can find inside a house, toaster, washing machine, kitchen things, and even a bed for a baby and small dogs. The toys are also regularly cleaned, even during the middle of the day. To top it off, it is cheap to boot. At only $12. You can watch your kid have fun during the day and explore his/her surroundings.

  • Mary Meza

My 1 1/2 year son had such a great time he didn’t want to leave. The reason for my 4 star review is that some of the older kids tried to push him out of the way I even had a little girl yell at him “shoo shoo” I understand kids are just kids but I wish there was more supervision over the kids so everyone can enjoy themselves without having to worry about other children being harsh toward the toddlers. Besides the small incident my son really did have fun. I would consider coming back.

  • Miguel Maymi

The concept is better than the execution. These are difficult spaces to really keep organized so I’m not considering that in my review; however, there are several areas that feel under finished. It’s kind of like, what does a kitchen need, these 5 things, the end. Could use more interactive or tactile surfaces. Also, the location is much smaller than I anticipated.

This is a great place to take young kids if, say, it's a rainy day or you want a change of pace. Especially for such a small space, they have a large variety of things for kids to latch onto, like a trolley car, a big toy kitchen, a dress-up room, and tables with crayons, floam, gear concoctions, and so on. The seating is comfortable enough for parents. I find it a bit pricy at close to $12, but it's worth it on days when you need to go somewhere away from home for an hour or so.

  • Rosa Morgan

I took my kiddos here and it was on a Monday morning not very many kids in there. It was a huge mess. And there were 4 girls at the counter texting. They weren’t really sanitizing any toys either. The arts and crafts area was a total mess not many arts and crafts at all. We live in Murphy and the Playstreet museum there is night and day. Super clean and they’re sanitizing and organizing as kids come and go. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be going back to this location.

  • Victoria Rivera

I take the kids I nanny here often and it is so worth the price. For two kids, it is around 30 bucks. They have new crafts every week and even take-home activities. They have toys and costumes. When they leave, they get to take home a snack! It is always so clean and the staff is really friendly. I would say it is very kid-friendly. Even the bathrooms have stools and seats for kids!

2 kids, 4 and 1. There isn't much in the way of physical activity however it was still fun for the 2 kids. The 4 year old enjoyed it more than the 1 year old who just walked around and pushed carts :) (to be expected). Really cute scenes for pretend play. The facility is clean and there is a person who is always organizing toys. The price is a bit high for what it is, but since we don't frequently visit Dallas, it is an ok spend once in a while.

We are at Playstreet every week at least once or twice a week. my child absolutely loves all of the fun activities and the incredibly nice staff. As the mother of a child that is not able to be in school yet, Playstreet is a great option for my child to socialize as well as work on her fine motor and gross motor skills. The staff here is extremely warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is very calm and inviting!

  • Raz Farias

Really cool for kids parties! It did feel awkward when leaving. Almost felt as if we were getting kicked out lol. The girls working there were taking decorations down before the party was over. Felt pretty strange for sure lol. Overall, it was a great experience for the kids !

Great place to play with a kid! I took my 18 month old and he ran around, played in all the stores, drove the trolly! Super clean, well lit, cool (great when it’s 100 degrees out in Texas!!) I will be going back and bringing friends! Outside the play museum there are picnic table to have lunch, and they even put toys out on the tables for you to take a break from playing inside and eat outside.

  • Alexandra O'Sullivan

I took my 21 month old son here to play - It was very clean & smelled nice - Employee who worked there was attentive & helpful - The variety of things for kids to play with is expansive; we stayed & played for the full hour & a half - Bonus: I was allowed to walk around & drink my coffee while playing with my son We will be going there again in the future. Highly recommend.

I think Play Street Museum is the best idea anyone has ever come up with. I used to be a nanny and I took my little one to Play Street and he had the best time ever! He didn't want to leave. The place was kept very neat and clean so the kids always had something to play with. Owners/staff were VERY helpful and VERY friendly. Definitely a place I would go back to!

  • Mindee Roush

I cannot say enough good about Play Street LH! The staff goes above and beyond to welcome you and insure your experience is perfect. They were cleaning everything throughout our time visiting and made sure it was a safe and sanitized play environment. My daughter had a blast and asks me daily to go back! I highly recommend this to anyone with children.

  • Tom George

Was a great place to allow my two toddlers to have fun and expend some energy before our drive home. The staff was friendly and kept the place nice and clean. I left my diaper bag there and I appreciated them calling me to let me know. They even offered to send it to me as I live several hours away. Highly recommend.

Clean, friendly staff that always picks up toys that no one plays anymore and puts them back where they belong - you rarely see that at places like this. 4 stars because there is nothing really to do for crawling busy babies but my toddler loves it and is well entertained. Quite busy in the late afternoon though, go mornings if you can

  • Zak W

Super fun space for my 1.5 year old. I think this place is great for younger children maybe 6 months - 5 years old. The space is kind of small but a lot of stuff to get into. The staff is super friendly and always cleaning up the place. All the parents wear mask so I feel safe bringing my little one. I highly recommend.

My 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son had such a great time. We spent almost 4 hours there since we we're visiting from San Antonio. We will definitely be back next time we're in Dallas. While it does seem a bit small there was so much for the kids to do. It was also very clean and the staff was very nice.

  • Lucie Liggitt

Very cute and clean. My kids had a blast! Great place for a toddler to burn off some energy when it's hot outside. There is always a good group of kids. My kids love the dress up area and the inside of the hotel. Definitely a great way to spend the afternoon. They love to discover the different toys they have.

  • Kathryn Cadena

First time visiting for my little cousin's birthday and this place is awesome. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place especially since it's a place for little kids. There are Legos, wooden blocks, a theater where you can dress up and even a mock grocery store. It's a great place for a birthday party.

  • Emilee Terry

Great place for a variety of ages. The set up encourages independent, imaginary play. We've been there for free play during the week, hosted a birthday party, and attended parties of others, and it's always a great experience. The staff are kind and helpful. For our party, they really went above and beyond.

  • Jimmie Gautt

I took my granddaughter and she had a great time. I shopped while waiting, spening well over $100. One of the toys broke. I contacted management FOUR times concerning the problem. They agreed to get back with me and NEVER did. Lesson learned warning...let the kids have a good time BUT DO NOT SHOP there.

  • Mary Howe

My 3-year granddaughter had her birthday party here, Amazing to watch 20 little minds explode using their imagination! So much to explore. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. The entire facility is soo clean. I can see taking her and a friend here on a rainy day to play. Awesome place for kids.

This, as well as all the other Playstreet Museums, is a great place for young kids. I do find that this location has a lot less “props” than the other two I have visited. When it gets very busy, it is hard to find fruits, vegetables, food items, costumes, etc to play with.
