The newly refurbished library exceeded my expectations. Everything is done really nicely, the place is comfortable and cozy. Plenty of desk space, you can bring your own laptop and stay as long as you want, or use the library PC or iPad for up to 2 hours. Printing and scanning facilities available. Good selection of books, you can also reserve book they don’t have and they will get it delivered from other Greenwich library. Friendly staff, who try to keep their voices down when talking to someone so not to disturb everyone else. Nice clean toilets. Shame the cafe is closed, but that might be due to covid. Oh but they still do coffee mornings on Wednesdays!

Very humble about my late fees at time. Always pay it eventually. The books for toddlers are high quality and the CD's are reasonable at 1 pound. I like access to the Greenwich Times newspaper when I am waiting for my son Lyndunne at Warehouse Gym. There is no washroom though. The Families magazine is awesome for community events and I can usually pick up a fresh copy for the Nursury School where I am a Parent Governor. The leaflets are useful and informative in understanding the community happenings. I enjoy my experience each time I go and love the free internet access.

the staff are so annoyingly loud, and as there is only one room it is just so enclosed. As I'm typing this review the staff are communicating loudly library, the irony of this. Don't come here, nice library but the disrespectful loud staff ruin it. Of course, do note that I am indeed generalising as it will not be like this everyday, and not every staff is doing this - this is just my own personal experience. - a few minutes later: even more staff came and they have congregated at the centre of the library, absolutely atrocious.

A poor example of a library. Library’s are supposed to be quite to facilitate learning and reading. Coffee mornings being held in the libary is an extremely poor decision, especially when there is a caffe that is available. It would make sense not only for the elderly who want a space to talk freely but also for the people who want to do work or read in a quiet space. The tables in the caffe also need to be put back how can you have only 3 tables.

Took 3yo grandson to soft play. He really enjoyed it. Really small & very expensive. £5.50 each including adults for 1hr. Cafe closed & no vending machine. Can't even get a drink. Only 1 toilet open on 1st floor. Disabled toilet with soaking wet floor. Not impressed

Lovely helpful professional team and manager. This library is always really well stocked with bestsellers. Its immaculate and clean. A real asset to Plumstead. Excellent kids section too. Has saved me a ton in purchases

Very friendly staff. Joined today in 5 mins and used a pc for free. Small selection of books and services buts it's perfect for my local library. Large childrens library with a large central reading area.

  • Victor Emmanuel

Very nice library with a lot of extensive quite places to read and my new PC and books to borrow from. Reading areas and friendly staff always read to help people whenever they need assistance.

Very nice centre. Clean, modern library with different rooms and computers. Very nice and big soft play and rooms to hire. Also conveniently next to a gym.

Good library for kids.. not enough titles for grown ups though.. if you are travelling by car, be prepared to search for parking in neighbouring streets..

Love coming here to study. It’s not too busy, normally quite quiet and they also have a fun game - Mancala which is good to play during study breaks

I was in a muddle and needed to use the public computers, only to find they were no longer free access and needed a library card, very annoyed

  • Wilfred Williamson

Blasting the radio in a library where it is designed specifically for quiet and concentration is really not a good idea …

Lovely little library, some teething problems with printing and logging in to some computers but overall a nice atmosphere!
