My partner and I made the big decision to move in with each other last year in August and in doing so, wanted to buy our first couch together. I was so excited. I had been dreaming of a couch in Plush for years. So that is where we went. After passing the ‘sitting’ test, and mulling over the decision for a few days (it is an expensive investment after all), we hit the button online on the couch of our dreams. Of course in the current climate of COVID and the couch having to be made overseas, understandably, there would be some delay until we received our couch. However the lady we spoke to assured us that if we ordered now, we would receive our couch before Christmas (a mere 14-16 weeks away). This was on the 7th of August, we are still yet to receive said couch and have welcomed in the New Year without it. I am a very patient woman and understanding customer and when I make a big purchase with a company I expect to be treated with consideration and value. Plush have failed to do this. I should not have to repeatedly call up to even glimpse a skerrick of information regarding my order and then be told multiple different things from different people. The miscommunication in your company is evident. So now, our coach order being in process for nearly 6 months, it has been delayed by another week due to ‘shipping container arrival’. I can’t say I’m surprised, but I am disappointed. Disappointed at the fact that we weren’t able to have our family stay with us over the holiday period, due to your incompetence, disappointed that there was no apology or communication offered to aid in the situation and disappointed at the fact that you have lost a very willing and a loyal customer. To any prospective customers of plush, I ask you to thoroughly consider your decision to purchase with them in future to avoid disappointment and frustration.

If I could give them zero stars I absolutely would. The retail team at fortitude valley was fine, very polite and helpful. However our couch sat in a warehouse for well over 2 months and was only delivered to us after we made multiple phone calls querying its whereabouts. When it did eventually arrive it arrived with extensive damage to the left recliner seat. Getting this fixed through Plush has been a nightmare akin to torture. There have been two instances where pick up drivers have not arrived at all, and given that Plush allocates 4 hour windows this means that close to the entire day was wasted twice, and the couch is still yet to be picked up. Further to this they have quite possibly the worst communication out of any business I have ever dealt with. Getting someone on the phone is like pulling hens teeth and God forbid you miss one of their calls. Because irrespective of if you call back in 5 seconds, 5 minutes, or 5 hours you'll likely receive "we're sorry, there is no one available to take your call" message. Regrettably when you do eventually get to speak with a customer service representative, while polite enough, they are next to useless. However given the lack of communication with consumers, I wouldn't be surprised if there are failings in the internal communications of the company. Any conversation just feels like a waste of time for everyone. I'm a pretty reasonable person, i get that mistakes happen. But the total lack of communication with consumers shows a compete lack of regard or respect for my or anyone else's time. While the products are nice enough, this whole consumer experience has meant that I will likely never purchase another product from them. Good luck!

Hi, can't rave enough about the team at the Fortitude Valley showroom. What we ended up with was not what we set out to buy, but this was due to our own expectations of a modular suite. With Jamie's help she guided us through the Plush ranges and then left us, after politely asking if we had sufficient info at that time and if we wanted to wander around the lounges and sit and try them all. I love that and we really respect a firm that allows that attitude for its staff to action. Not pushy. I, myself am in sales (wholesale not retail) and believe that information should be shared and not forced upon the buyer. We went on, that day, to 3 other retailers but promptly returned at the end of the day to continue our decision making with Plush. After a few more visits plus some email and phone requests asking for additional info specific to our own needs, that the team assisted with, without issue - thanks to Sidney and Showroom Manager Sandra as well. Champion effort at all times. We now have 2 sofa, both with recliners, on order. We now trust that the rest of this buying process will be as seamless and through as it has been to date. Thank you very much to Amy and Sandra from the Plush Fortitude Valley showroom! They helped my husband and I find the perfect sofa! Special thanks to Amy who helped us with the difficult choice of selecting a fabric colour for our new sofa, which we nearly ended up ordering in the wrong colour after looking at some options online (take the swatches home trust me!). Thanks also for helping us make sure our new sofa fit in our house! The customer service we received was excellent and we are so pleased with our purchase, which we will enjoy for many years to come. The only negative feedback about our Plush experience was the installation component, the two men who installed our sofa were a bit rough and got their drill bit stuck in one of the sofa legs and had to leave with the leg. They were also not careful and left dirt marks on our light grey sofa which was disappointing. Lastly, they dragged one of the packaged sofa pieces across our tiles which I was not impressed by and then they realised and placed a blanket underneath the other sofa pieces when bringing them inside. The Plush care technician was great and cleaned the dirt marks for us and also advised us what to do with some of the pulled threads on the sofa.

The original purchase of the couch was fine and we loved it when we got it but it has been one problem after another. Got it in March this year and it broke after a couple weeks. Took a month to fix which was fine but then it broke again in August. (One leg if the chair each time). At this point we accepted that the quality of the couch must not be very good and wanted them to do more than just fix it as it's very annoying sitting on camping chairs for a month while they fix it. Refused to give us a refund and the only option was store credit or to replace the couch. Was not interested in waiting another 4 months for it to be made so accepted they could come to fix it. It has now been almost 2 months without being fixed so we had no choice but to buy a couch elsewhere. Horrendous customer service, every time we called they told us they'd call us back in another 48hours which were just lies. Will never ever buy another plush couch they have been useless. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else! Update: we got a date for fixing it and it's taking 11 weeks in total to have it fixed. Unbelievable!

We recently purchased the Carlton sofas through the Fortitude Valley Store. When the sofas first arrived we were disappointed in the level of comfort compared to what we had experienced in store. We need not have worried because just as the staff had explained the sofas become softer and more comfortable after a few months of use. They are beautiful sofas. We also had an issue using the manual recline function. It would be wise to consider electric control particularly if the chairs are being used by older people or people with disabilities. We cannot thank Lamisha the Store Manager enough for her understanding and kindness throughout this transaction. Kassiah was also wonderful. We highly recommend the Plush Carlton sofas . Thanks again to the staff of the Fortitude Valley Store and in particular Lamisha and Kassiah for your professionalism and understanding . It was much appreciated.

On June 5th my partner Colin Conroy and I bought a sofa, the cleaning kit and the rechargeable battery, we paid more than 4500 dollars. Sydney, the seller, that day she asked us if there are stairs in our house and we answered yes, she told us that it will arrive in parts and will be assembled inside the house, so we didn't worry about. Today we received our sofa, but they couldn't enter because the entrance of our house is less than 1 metre. My partner called customer service and they said they warned us that we should have more than 1 meter of entry, this never happened, we would remember because we know that the entrance is less than 1 metre from bringing other furniture in, now they are telling us we need to pay for a lift to bring the sofa through the balcony or refund us. Shameful customer service. Minimum an apology for your mistake and cover expenses and lost time.

After seeing an Instagram ad come through my feed of the most beautiful lounge I've ever seen, not to mention an amazing sale going on, I insisted to my partner that we should go see it. Not needing a lounge for at least 2 months due to living situations, this visit was primarily for 'window shopping' purposes. We have never previously heard of Plus before but I tell you now, we came back next day and bought TWO lounges and we are already sending all our friends and family here. The customer service from Sandra, in the Fortitude Valley showroom was the right amount of friendly without being too overpowering. The products are just beautiful and i felt at ease throughout. We are of course yet to receive our lounges because there is a 10-12 order wait time but I have no doubt everything else is going to be as great as our experience this past weekend.

What a great experience. At no time did we feel pressured to make a decision, then and there on the showroom floor. Sidney provided us with the technical information with regards to available configurations, fabric chooses and 2 quotations with everything included for 2 x separate lounges we were thinking about. Due to the fact that we was looking during a heavily disconnected sales promotion, Sidney mentioned I didn't have to make a decision straight away and that she would honour the quote a day or 2 after, which was awesome. A quick dash home, with sample fabric, a quick measure up, we went back that afternoon and finalised the sale, and there was no surprises either, what was quoted was honoured. Great showroom, awesome staff, fantastic concept. Will most certainly recommend Plush Sofas, Fortitude Valley. Now, patiently awaiting it's arrival!

Ordered 21 weeks ago. Was told 12 to 18 weeks when we bought it. Keep getting stuffed around. Extended. Extended. Etc. Found out today its at least 4 more weeks. Thats basically 6 months. What a joke. Covid/[insert other excuse]/ whatever. Dont take peoples money and make false promises. Their product seems good, but my advice is that unless its in stock, dont place an order. EDIT 1: Finally arrived after 6 months. Unfortunately with the wrong legs for the sofa. The legs were a mixed bag of colours. They were supposed to be the same. Now we have to get this fixed. EDIT 2: after 7 more weeks of waiting, the proper legs arrived. Correction: 1 of 4 arrived. Still need 3 more to finally get what we ordered and paid for. Changing review to 1 star (only because zero stars is not an option). Avoid, they are a total shambles.

It's my pleasure to give PLUSH Fortitude Valley a review, particularly to Sydney who's not pushy but very informative and explains all options available prior to purchase, we've brought many lounges from Plush and mostly Fortitude Valley branch (since moving from Adelaide) and have never been disappointed. Why so many? we keep moving quite often so what suits one apartment/house does nor necessarily suit the next. Have looked at many furniture stores but always return to Plush. Not only do they have a vast arrange of styles but you can have it in whatever covering you want. Plus like us do not be put off because you think it's too large (apartment lift access) like we did because they had the exact same lounge in modular format , so speak to them they really do know what they are talking about.

We had researched our sofa on line, knew the one we wanted. When we went to purchase,it the one we wanted not on floor(we should have checked first). However Jessica from the Fortitude Valley store was able to show us one that had a similar feel in the seating, and helped with our fabric colour and choice. Without a doubt she was the most efficient salesperson we have dealt with in a very long time. Made sure she explained every aspect of warranty, delivery and their policies with regard to purchase in an easy,thorough and friendly manner, no upselling (which has seen me walk out of stores). We haven’t received our lounge yet but I want to acknowledge the excellent service we got from Jess recently. We were greeted and made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in the door without being pushed. I had looked online already so it was a good starting point when Jess asked if we wanted help. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and it made it so easy to compare styles, features, sizes and fabrics. She also gave us clear and complete info about purchase terms and delivery. When we walked out I felt totally happy and excited about our new lounge purchase. The after sales email updates have also been spot on and sending the fabric swatch out with the paperwork was a nice touch. Very happy!

Attended the Plush Store in Fortitude Valley and Tom was the company's representative. Tom was professional, friendly and engaged on topic. Tom even pointed out that the colour/fabric we chose for the lounge suite did have a particular idiosyncratic element, in that we assumed we would be ordering Silver, but sometimes owing to the blend it may be delivered with a green tone. Throughout we found the whole experience enjoyable - especially as we had my grandson with me, who did get a little loud and difficult owing to the decision making process and time it took to lock down a decision. Tom remained friendly and helpful throughout. I would highly recommend Tom as one of your key employees.

Purchased my new couch from Sandra on the 27/6/20 and was gloriously delivered today. So happy with the whole experience. Sandra was excellent. Provided extensive information, customisation and support. Helped me to make the best decision for my space. The Call centre team called me to schedule the delivery. Due to COVID there was an additional delay and I did call a couple of times to get a new delivery dates. But they were wonderful and the call centre is a pleasure to deal with. The crew that delivered the couch are outstanding problem solvers and were so quick doing the delivery. They set it up and take it with them. An excellent experience all the way through. These days the cost of quality furniture can be costly so it is important to do your research first and get the best value for you dollar. Plush Sofa's was on my shopping list as we are furnishing a new townhouse from scratch therefore it was not only important to us to choose the right colour but also to be comfortable as well. Plush sofa's and Jessica one of the Sales representatives of the store made this task much easier for us to decide. Jessica was not only very pleasant but her product knowledge is excellent. Plush was recommended to by a friend so I was very excited to see their amazing January sale. I went to the Plush showroom in Fortitude Valley where I was helped by Sidney. Sidney was simply the best, she wasn't pushy and she answered all my questions honestly and gave me some great ideas. She was also very patient and gave me space to wander around by myself without the pressure of a salesperson right behind me. When I was ready to chat to her she patiently took me through all the options for my new chairs. Instead of just purchasing one sofa, I ended up purchasing a sofa and a snuggle chair. I'm redecorating my unit and have visited numerous homewares stores this week. Jamie-Lee Hart has been an absolute stand out for customer service. Her happy disposition immediately makes you comfortable in the store without any pressure to decide and purchase ASAP. Jaimie-Lee knows the products in detail, has styling expertise and is considerate in trying to match needs with the choices available. She was patient as I considered a range of options prior to purchase. Have bought several sofa and sofa bed items from Plush Fortitude Valley, after checking with other furniture companies - really happy with the quality of their products (which I found sturdier than some competitors for the same price point), their willingness to offer and honour discounts, and the quality of their customer service. I mainly dealt with Sandra - she came across as more knowledgable about the products and their components than any other salespeople I'd spoken to elsewhere (e.g. re the manufacturing differences between different grades of leather), was straight talking, and very willing to help.

Expensive sofas but totally worth it. I was looking for a good quality long lasting sofa for over 4 months went everywhere untill I finally got to Plush in the Valley. Terrible experience with Plush. When we bought our sofa the customer service was great but then (after only a few months of owning the sofa) one of the parts broke. After 3 months of trying to get it resolved, we paid for a replacement part. We have now been waiting another 8 months and still haven’t received the part. We have had hardly any communication from plush, no updates without having to ask. We have tried calling and emailing and just get a standard response that they will check with the warehouse and let us know. Have no idea how much longer it will take…. Wouldn’t recommend plush.

We recently visited Plush in Fortitude Valley on a very busy weekend, and even though the staff were talking to customers non-stop, they were still curteous, professional and were able to keep a welcoming smile on their face with everyone they spoke to. Store Manager Jamie-Lee was especially helpful, professional and knowledgeable, and offered to follow up the next day to get an answer from her delivery team about a question we had. She followed up as promised, which clinched the deal for us. Staff like Jamie-Lee at Fortitude Valley are a credit to Plush, that's for sure! Highly recommended!

My wife and I went to the store in fortitude valley to try out some sofas. We were met and accompanied by Jessica. Jess was attentive and very very helpful as she took note of our requirement, purpose and space constraints we were working with. Jessica helped us choose a modular sofa that would work in our space and after some further tweaks over the phone (where Jess sent us images and advice from the floor) we landed on final configuration. We had a wonderful experience BUYING our sofa and I posted a 5 star review for the service BUT wait till they have to deliver it. Different story. They contract it out and stuffed us around so many times. It was a nightmare as we needed to get it delivered between tenants at a rental property and they kept changing the days. Then they tried to charge us for storage because it hadn’t been delivered (due to their delays). If management of Plush cared about customer service they would address the delivery problems they have. Do not but unless you can take it home yourself from the store

Denise and I bought a beautiful sofa from the Fortitude Valley store on Sunday and found the experience awesome. We were warmly welcomed into the store by all the smiling staff members and not pushed at any stage. We were able to walk around and check out the range until we made our decision (which did take a little time). Jamie-Lee was very attentive and knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We love our Plush Sofa! it was sooo worth it! We got the Park Avenue Modular in Pargue Steel, It is so soft and comfortable. We had a Kola couch previously that was pretty good but so not worth the price compared to Plush's quality especially since it was only a bit more expensive. The three months we had to wait for it were a bit long but we know this couch will last years and years. Sandra was that best salesperson we could have asked for, she was so wonderful and helpful and made the whole experience so easy!

Selecting and purchasing my Plush Citti lounge was made such a smooth process by the assistance and patience given by Amy. I never felt rushed or pressured and this made me feel confident with my final choice. I must have visited the store at least 3 times before I finally settled on a lounge that would suit my needs. My lounge was delivered on Saturday and it is perfect for the space in my apartment. I also wish to thank Jamie for her assistance when selecting the colour. Overall a very positive experience.

Amy was very knowledgeable and helpful. We visited a number of furniture stores before settling on a sofa bed from Plush. They were one of very few who would make one in leather plus the mechanism and mattress on their model was of a higher quality and standard than others, made our choice easier. The price during their sale was excellent too. As we are not in a hurry, the delivery time for a special order was not a problem. Will write another review once we take delivery, so far we have been impressed.

It took me 2 weeks to decide on my Sofa and the first time I went into Plush at Fortitude Valley I was in there store for over an hour and returned a couple more times and not one sales person had approached me - I was ready to buy at that point - however I returned the following Sunday and was greeted by Sandra and all was restored - she was amazing and even let me have the discount form the previous week. All I need to do now is wait until my sofa is made. Looking forward to it

We recently visited the Fortitude Valley store and ordered the Dover II 3 seater and 2.5 seater sofas. After visiting almost every furniture store in Brisbane, it was a pleasure to be served by Bevan. We were very happy with Amy's service advising us on options and styles. After much shopping around we weren't really happy with options from other lounge retailers. We were impressed by the range of options and will get exactly what we want in the size and fabrics that suit our home. There is a delivery of around 3 months, to allow time for custom manufacture and transport which is a better option than not getting what we want in a shorter timeframe.

We originally purchased a leather couch to replace our fabric couch for allergy reasons in Feb 22 and were told that it would be ready in 3-4 months. 7 months later now, and after several extensions we still have no couch. If we were told at the time that delivery would take 7 months we would not have purchased it. We felt very misled with the purchase, and continue to put up with the allergy situation. The management can definitely do better.

Excellent customer service at the Fortitude Valley shop. The mostly female team of sales assistants who I've dealt with on my two seperate visits have been really helpful, answered all of my questions and were really accomodating to my requests. But most of all, they didn't hound me or hover over me as soon as I worked in the front door! The relaxing and pressure-free shopping experience probably lead to me actually purchasing my sofa here.

Sidney showed us exceptional service and was super attentive in helping us pick out colours and configuration to our exact requirements, even measuring different parts of the couch to make sure it could be delivered successfully. Great store layout and product range. Amy, in particular, was attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Once we'd settled on the sofa design and fabric we wanted, Amy helped us work out the correct size and configuration for our space, even sending us hand-drawn designs via email once we'd got home and re-measured the room. She also kept our 3yr old happy by gifting her a plush soft toy whilst we were in the store!

Thanks to Sandra and Sidney at the Fortitude Valley store for making our new sofa purchase such a "no hassle" experience. We wanted to think about our purchase overnight and Sandra did not pressure us at all to make a decision on the spot. The team in the showroom were amazing and HD answers to all of my questions and were more than happy to talk me through the leather options.
