Pomonok Playground is the best out of all the playgrounds I visited. It is in between of an Elementary school and Ivy Day Care and as well as Queens College. Even though this playground is located in a crowded area, the playground has lot of spaces inside their boundary for children to walk around or chase each other. This Playground is clean and colorful. The equipment is fun and engaging. One of the climbing structure is shaped like a caterpillar, which is very eye catching for children of all age. This playground offered did not include any or equipment for creative play. The equipment is for children’s gross motor needs. There are multiple play areas and spaces for several types of large muscle exercises just like previous two playgrounds. The slides are all many sizes and shapes. This playground has more space for multiple children to play at once and as well enough benches/shade areas for adult supervision. It is surrounded by beautiful trees, plants, flowers which attracts birds. Children could enjoy the nature between their plays. There are no safety issues in the playground. There is no broken glass, sharp edges, dangerous equipment. There is shock-absorbing material under the climbing and moving equipment. There are safety fences around the climbing structures, slides and swings and as well as from the road. This playground has shades and benches nearby for parents or caregivers to sit and keep an eye on the children. This is overall a very good playground. There are multiple swing sets with limited size variations. There are multiple slides with various heights, widths and shapes. The climbing structures are complex, has multiple levels and multiple climbing structures. It exceeds the overall function of the playground.

Lived in queens for 7 years and this was my first visit. While in need of minor repairs (cracks and better equipment) it is a nice addition to the neighborhood. The grounds keeper Mike takes pride in his work and was very helpful.

Small playground, still a good place to take small children to have a good time out of the house. The sprinklers are open to get a bit of relief on a hot day. It also has plenty of Benches to sit under the shade of a tree.

A nice sports park south of flushing. Basketball, handball courts, splash area, bathroom. A bit of shade would be nice amongst all the concrete.
