horrible, First and last time, I went to get my Mum a necklace she wore it once and the chain broke. So i went to take it back and a woman with glasses and dark hair served me, i asked to get a refund on the faulty purchase after i had explained to her what had happened, it was like she wasn't even listening to me at all she repeated what I had originally told her! to top it off she rudely walked out back to talk to the owner about a refund comes back out and says " were not suppose to give refunds but we will today". (Yeah Well your items are not suppose to be faulty, Id have better luck in a $2 store at least I wont get attitude with every purchase). The hefty owner then barges out of the back room, doesn't even introduce himself just says the same thing she says "we don't do refunds"( well why did I get a Full Refund?). He was so rude no customer service skills whats so ever, to top it off they even asked me for the pitiful $10 discount voucher. I Advise anyone not to go to this jeweler rude ignorant and no customer service skills what so ever.

Absolutely blown away with my recent experience! Ray and the team brought me to tears in the store after I dropped a very sentimental but very broken ring to them for a quote and then agreed to repair. The quote was extremely reasonable considering how damaged it was and how much 18ct white gold it needed When I got to the store and saw the ring again I couldn’t hold back the tears, it was just incredible, I couldn’t believe how amazing it looked, it didn’t look like the ring I dropped off. Beautifully polished and presented, the repairs are absolutely amazing and I’m just absolutely blown away. The quote didn’t change even with rhodium plating and everything else. I’m naturally pretty suspicious of jewellers which is why I’ve got so many broken pieces but after a recommendation I took the plunge with the ring and I’m soooooo glad I did!!!! They’ll be getting all of my jewellery from now on! Don’t go anywhere else! Ray is a master! Absolute master! Thank you sooooo very much

Where does a guy who knows nothing of diamonds go when he needs to buy an engagement rock? Back in 2016 I assumed I had no option but to get fleeced by a mega-dodge confidence man pushing a cabinet ring during a hot sale. A slippery pelican atop Westfield Miranda tried such a thing when I popped into his now-shuttered jewellery store. He produced a ring from his drawer that he obviously wanted to be rid of, offered me a "good deal", then told me I had to buy the ring that day. In related news, I research sneakers for a week before I buy. Then I remembered Ray. His son and I played baseball together before DVDs were a thing, and I knew his store was more established than Stonehenge. After a quick face-to-face, Ray knew exactly what I was after and sourced a quality diamond a few weeks later to match my needs. It was honest hands the whole time and getting the ring properly fitted after the proposal was quick and straightforward. Very highly recommended.

The best service and sparkle! I really wanted to purchase an eternity ring for our 10 year anniversary but was undecided as I knew it would be a challenge to get something in budget given the shape and size of my other rings. My friend recommended I speak with Ray at Pontifex after an ""interesting"" experience with another local custom jeweller - I am so glad I did. As soon as I met with Ray, I knew he cared about me getting the right thing and understood what I was looking for - he was happy to discuss options and went above and beyond to ensure the new ring sat in balance with my existing set. When I picked up the ring I was taken back at the quality of the ring - don't you love it when something exceeds your expectations. The overall experience from Pontifex has been beyond fabulous. It is nice to know that customer service like this still exists. I wanted to order an item that was not in stock. Brittany went out of her way to then go ahead and order it in for me. Rebecca then contacted once the item had arrived and two days later it was on my neck to wear and it looks beautiful. The package came all wrapped up in gift wrapping and I also got a little gift in the form of a gold cleaning cloth which was a super nice added touch. I felt a little spoilt. Thank you Team Pontifex. Amazing people super reliable, I bought earrings from Shiels and they sent me the wrong set for Valentines which was super disappointing. Thank god the guys at Pontifex saved the day and sent me the correct ones and my partner was super happy on this special occasion.
