Absolutely shocking. Had booked 16 tickets online for a hen do and despite there being no queue, we were made to stand outside for ages whilst the rude bouncer took my phone away (with the confirmation email) ‘to show the manager’. Since when was booking online something that needed management approval? There was no apology and we were treated like scum. When inside, a man grabbed me and then sat on a stool staring at our group for the entire night which made us all very uncomfortable. The DJ repeated tracks within the short time we were there and it was boiling hot too. Would not recommend.

Night started off great until men started getting too physical. A guy was getting too physical on the dance floor and the security guard even saw and did nothing. I asked the guy to stop touching me. He carried on. Therefore I pushed the guy away to get him off me. The security guard then wanted to throw me out of the club for being too violent. This place needs to have its security sorted out and have an understanding of what consent means.

Drinks are watered down and staff are rude! Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Manchester popworld massively over priced and after going to complain about watered down FLAT drinks the bar staff rudely took a drink out of my cup and gave it back to me (after slobbering round the cup) claiming it was fine. After I refused the drink and asked for an alternative they couldnt offer one. VILE, avoid at all costs!!!!

I have heard rumours that Popworld are in collaboration with Popworks (The popped snack with real crunch!) Sweet & Salty Popped Crisps wherein a flash of the aforementioned packet will guarantee the holder free entry and a queue jump into the establishment. As part of the deal the holder is also entitled to one free sourz shot. Would love to know the validity of this. Good club, 4 stars.

Didn't past the door as door man was a very rude and arrogant person. He spoke to my friend terribly and because I had the cheek to question him. I was the rude one who was banned and had to apologise. I thought days where men and door men thought they could talk to people like that had gone Even the other door man agreed .

Rude DJ, not open to requests at all and played signs that nobody knew or songs with the lowest tempo. Very mean to me when I asked for a different song once. If understand if I was harassing him but I asked him once when nobody was dancing and he was very rude to me. Defo won’t come back. Revs next door is so much better.

I was out last night at popworld had a few drinks with friend, I was taking a phone call then suddenly I was being pushed outside by the bouncer, being told I need to leave , not given any reasons, don’t recommend going here, I haven’t done anything at all and being told to leave very bad service

Had a drink, went and had 2 drinks in another, came back for drink number 4, to be told i cant be served.....either sort your staff out or train them to know the difference between drunk and in a happy mood......shame tho, as i enjoyed myself 1st time round. Bouncers need lessons kn smiling tho!

My friends shoes had a slight shade of blue so wasn’t able to get in the venue. Claimed we were both way too drunk to get in then when we explained we’d only just come out and this was our first bar he decided to get his phone torch out to look at our shoes for any different shades of colour.

Killer night, staff are all lovely and very very good at what they do. The music is amazing if you’re into throwback tunes, and the venue is especially brilliant for its’ events, including Stag and Hen do bookings and even their own put on events. Would absolutely recommend coming here!

Decent venue but DJ on Saturday night is as miserable as sin. Worst DJ I have experienced; no requests and turns his nose up at anything remotely off his pre-made Spotify playlist

DJ is disgustingly rude. I only wanted a westlife song as all his playlist was recent pop songs and we wanted to hear some older pop like they used to play. AVOID AVOID AVOID purely because of the DJ.

Sexist and discriminating behaviour from the manager!!! Definitely NOT recommending this place. Do not waste your money. Would even give them 1 star if I had the choice.

lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff with great professionality from the front door to the bar. thoroughly enjoyed my time here and an all in all great venue.

Pop World was like a movie.. hands down best experience of my life. Its great to mingle and have a laugh surrounded by a diverse culture and positive vibes
