"A GREAT BRUNCH SPOT! We came here on a Sunday afternoon and had a lovely time here! The sunshine was out so we got to sit at the front outside tables (but they also have a lovely and large courtyard for more outdoor dining)! We had the Crispy Prawn Tacos, Apple Pie French Toast, Mixed Berry Juice and Detox Juice! It was all so delicious and the main dishes we had are something different from other brunch menus which we enjoyed! The vibe and atmosphere is very chilled and relax! The courtyard is really magnificent with all the fairy lights and greenery! We were initially worried about the cold, but it’s so well heated that we barely even noticed. It’s a lovely space to enjoy some beautiful foods. We ordered the: Black Forest French toast ($22.5) was a great sweet option, combining chocolate mousse with berries and nuts for all the fun texture. Porgie’s famous golden folded ($22 with $5 bacon add on) is such a lovely dish as well with the eggs super light and fluffy and goats cheese adding a creaminess to it. The chilli jam leans towards the sweet side so not too spicy but with a lil bit of a kick. Smashed avo ($21.5 + $2.5 egg add on) is a fave for me. it’s a little tangy, and the pumpkin toast is crazy flavorful. It comes with buffalo mozzarella which is delishhhh!! Iced choc ($7.5) ahhh I haven’t had an iced choc in so long and this was great! Loved the ice cream on top and all the chocolate-y syrup! It’s very thick with a helluva lotta cocoa flavor. Thank you for the hospitality and the #invite ❤️ For more food adventures, come follow @food_depositoryyy on IG!

Devestatingly poor service. Dreadful poached eggs - since they were solid boiled. I mentioned it and it didn’t seem to matter too much - ‘oh I’ll mention it- I was told. Vague customer service - asked to wait for a table then zero communication between two servers so we watched as two people got seated as we continued our wait. And had to speak up because they thought we were waiting for take away despite our request to be seated. Bacon - at best luke warm. Lacking in presentation - half an avocado - unsliced. Server handed a mug to me - with fingers spread over the rim rather than holding the handle. Eggs Benedict typically comes with two slices - but no - one crumpet. Hmmmm. And server didn’t know what was in the greens - ‘you know, the beans with the skin on’ - and wearing no apron. Oh … and it took 40 minutes for our brunch. Not worth the wait. The halloumi was nice. And the hash brown also fine.

A truly spacious venue with ample seating indoors or outdoors in their courtyard. Upon asking the waiter what they recommended, I ordered the smashed avo and the french toast with a matcha latte too. I found the smashed avo was nice with the mozarella however, it seemed like would have been better if I included a poached egg with it too . Apple pie French toast was very new to the menu, so I was excited to give it a try. Presentation this dish sure looks pretty when it hits the table. Taste wise this dish was nice however for me a little too many apple elements all together. Would be perfect with another element so the dish doesn't all taste the same. There was talk of possibly a caramel sauce which I think would be perfect and tie the dish together very well. Overall there's definitely something for everyone on the menu and I recommend attending with friends so can share and try more too.

We tried: Green Bowl + chicken Zucchini Fritters Hotcakes ☕️ Chai Latte Mango Smoothie Had a cute and lovely little catch up with my friend here! I have been here many times and it never disappoints. It is definitely one of the cafes I like to go back again for brunch for their wide variety of dishes on the menu and consistent food. They have new dishes regularly (pretty much every season), so there's always many dishes to try. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it is a cosy spot for catchups with family and friends. The courtyard area is perfect to enjoy the weather. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered, which were beautifully presented and delicious. Their hotcakes is part of their new menu, and is a ✨️MUST-TRY✨️

Stopped off to get brunch from this highly rated Auburn Rd cafe on the way home. It was about 3/4 full with customers. Tried to get a table outside where there was no eggs smell. The tables were wet and the attitudes of a couple of the staff in wiping diwn was like they didn't like their jobs. One didn't wipe properly, didn't care if people were getting wet. Then had to a ask a few times about a coffee that eventually arrived. Ordered eggs benedict which looked and tasted ordinary. Not impressed and definitely doesn't deserve the google ratings. Luckily, we have better cafes and attitudes in my suburb.

Loved how you can bring your fur friends to the outdoor seating area super cute. Loved the ambience and atmosphere, you can definitely bring your dogs. Food was average like any cafe, not bad but nothing outstanding either. The hotcakes were a bit on the dry side and not much cream to cake ratio would prefer more cream, and personally not really worth the price of $24. Wouldn’t be in a rush to go back since theres plenty of brunch places available around melbourne but its nice to try at least once!

Perfect brunch spot with friends. They are many different areas to this cute cafe, with a good outdoor area. We ordered the prawn tacos, apple pie french toast, baked eggs, beetroot juice, carrot juice and pb smoothie. All super tasty, the french toast taking me by surprise and my favourite meal of the three! staff are super friendly and highly recommend. @foodietrang for full review :)

It is such an amazing place with many interior and exterior seating spaces. We loved their outdoor courtyard seating, which we were able to enjoy even in winters as they have heater setup. . Their food and drinks variety is good and so is the taste. We tried : • Benedict • Salmon & Soba • Black forest french toast. Everything was super delicious and well presented. We definitely recommend you to check @porgiescafe out.
A great venue with a cool vibe and relaxed atmosphere! Hubby and I loved the coffee and the food was really fresh and delicious. I opted for the Smashed Avocado and hubby had the Angus Burger. We also tried a sweet treat from the display case which was spot on in flavour and size. Would thoroughly recommend ❤️

I ordered hotcakes. The taste was just so-so. It was terrible that the food was served topped with dried and rotten strawberries. Instead, replace it with strawberry jam. It's expensive to pay $27 each if the food quality isn't improved.
I had a wonderful lunch at Porgi and Mr Jones. We started our lunch with a glass of mimosa and aperol spritz each. Love it! This popular place is spacious, the restaurant itself has an outdoor, an indoor, a little hidden room inside and
A very nice cafe with a great selection of food. Staff were friendly and quick to serve despite being a busy time. This is part of the new menu. Baked Eggs (Italian Sugo, Basil, Mozarella, Two Eggs, Pangrattato and Sourdough), Hot Cakes
Loved my visit at this lovely cafe! They have an indoor and outdoor area, both were very nice and ambient. I especially like the outdoor area with fairy lights and nice greenry around the tables. Food was absolutely delicious, I would
Since I was last here it had been renovated - much larger and rather stark decor now. We had the smashed avocado with haloumi and one with salmon, and a breakfast burger. Decent presentation but thin toast, minimal avocado, tasteless
Absolutely loved this place! There was a lot of inside and outside seating. The outside seating was shaded or in the sun. There was a variety of options on the menu accomodating to all dietary needs. The staff were very friendly and
A cozy brunch spot with amazing hospitality. Would highly recommend their famous golden folded! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the chilli jam added great flavors to the dish. Will definitely go back to try more of their dishes!
Such a lovely place to have brunch with friends and family. Their interior and outdoor setting just makes for cozy catch-ups and fun times. The service was quick and the staffs were patient to wait until we decided what
There’s no other way to enjoy brunch than in an open sunny courtyard. Serving breakfast, lunch, sweet treats and some cocktails. Fantastic food and exceptional service made for great bonus points.
Absolutely delicious brunch in a lovely cozy cafe! Tried the salmon & soba, benedict and Black Forest French toast. The sous vid salmon was amazing as well as the thick cut rasher of bacon
This is a great cafe for a brunch date with family or friends. The ambience is so cosy with a lovely backyard setting & cute rustic interiors. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard!
A great cafe with a huge courtyard out back and a friendly attentive waiting team. We ordered the Benny which included their home made cheesey hash (recommended) and thick cut bacon… yum
