I was very unhappy with the personnel in this Post Office when seeking to purchase East Caribbean dollars. In summary: the man told me on the phone that he had this currency in stock, but actually he did not have any when I immediately tried to purchase them in person. Instead, I took the US dollars he was offering as I could also use these. He did not inform me that the exchange rate was different to that displayed on the Post Office website, or what the exchange rate was at all and it was not displayed in the shop. He did not count out the dollars for me to check with him before purchase. When I checked the currency afterwards I found that I had been given about 35 US dollars less than expected. I telephoned and complained, but was met with indifference. In my opinion this was poor customer service and not up to a professional standard. I made a complaint to the Customer Service Team at Post Office Ltd so they could investigate, and they compensated me with a £30 sterling refund, about the equivalent of the 35 US dollars I did not receive. I shall never ever use this Post Office branch again.
Sadly it is not possible to leave 0 star ....I had read the reviews and always go to WHsmith but sadly last week I was in a rush and made the very poor life choice of giving them a try... Well, as has been the case with many other customers the parcel left with them never made it to the intended recipient... As we were not issued a receipt at the time after being told the label was enough we are now left with no recourse. A call to them to consider options was met with a level of rudeness that I have rarely encountered before. They , obviously denied they had not issued a receipt and even argued they leave receipt on the side but people never pick them so they destroy them. When I asked what was the process to complain to Royal Mail, she responded " you have no proof we did not give you a receipt so nothing will happen! "before putting the phone down on me! Absolute disgrace!
Has a previous person said if I could have left no stars i would have. You get your price quote from the Royal Mail site yet when you get to the PO in Wickham Road it is totally different. Now part of it was my fault but as usual the woman whos attitude makes one wonder if ishe's suffering from a medical condition says no its over double what the RM site says its actually £21 something. So then I question it and go to look it up again on my phone when the Gentleman and I use that term loosely says no its not £21 something its £17 . Now I am still feeling a bit dumbstruck when she gives me a look like thunder and shouts at me PUT IT AT THE END OF THE COUNTER. Terrified I did what I was told and ran all the way home. Unbelievable absolutely Unbelievable.

Went to collect the day after the redelivery date to be told by a very rude gentleman that the parcel was not there. He didn't bother looking to be honest. I went straight home, rang royal mail to be told it was delivered there the previous morning and was signed for!!! I stormed back, all within around 30 minutes to be told by the same guy that it was delivered 5 minutes after I left!!! Utter rubbish, no apology, terrible service!!! Avoid for redeliveries unless you have no other choice. --
I experienced bad customer service and unwarranted racist abuse from two post office employees located at this branch. Although it is my local branch, I would never go there again. Shops run by racists and ignorant people should not be allowed to exist and thrive in communities populated by the very people they are happy to offend. If you are reading this and stirred to do something about it, join me by avoiding this post office and use another branch. There are others in the area.
They are actually not the bad here. I think they are a little abrupt which can come a cross as rude. But i just laugh at it now i don't think they mean it. I don't mind coming here i know they are not like other post offices but it's just the way they are. I actually don't mind the man that everyone complains about he has given me some helpful advice regarding a lost parcel in the past. So give them the benefit of the dought we don't always know what kind of day they had ect.
Unbelievably rude on the phone when I called to quickly enquire if a parcel of mine had been dropped there by parcelforce as parcelforce website tracking had stated, even though I had setup a redelivery. The man that answered was abrupt and rude saying he could not be on the phone as was too busy then pretty much hung up. I was left still none the wiser as to were my package was?!
Lady is nice, but the man is to be watched, I always am polite, but questioned something, so he charged me extra by sending it at the wrong requested requirement, I wont be back now, this was not an honest mistake! Wickham High Street has very nice staff who always listen and are very friendly and much better at the job, you feel much happier in the environment there!
I no longer use this post office as the man and lady quite rude and make to many mistakes. My final straw was when I send a very Important parcel to my client and the male cashier sent it to the return address taken from the small return label on the back of the parcel, due to the delay I lost a very large order.
I use this post office regularly and I find it the best one. Great service, very helpful and friendly. Ive used other post offices but they aren't as efficient as this one. There are not many local post offices open anymore so it is great to have one which is and to support it.
If you come with prepaid label they always complain it is not good to them and they can not accept my parcels next time sure you buy labels from us. The service is not the best always better go to West Wickham one but unfortunately this post office is closer my place
Miserable people who are unhelpfull and also dont know how to do the task at hand. Told me this couldn't be done. After I explained to her again what she had to do she then asked someone else and then did it. No hello, sorry or thank you. Go to another post office.
absolutely terrible - went to collect travel money was told via the post office office head office its arrived no one was interested did not even check my tracking number just told me its not arrive!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR TRAVEL MONEY OR ANYTHING IN THAT FACT.

Consistently the rudest and most miserable customer service I have ever endured. No matter how polite or friendly I am, these people are horrible, completely incapable of manners or warmth and they're not even helpful. Just awful.
The person who works behind counter is an extremely rude,ignorant individual,he shouts and even swears at customers,he then mumbles under his voice racist comments about white English people,DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE!!!!!
The man in this post office (who I’m sure is the same one referred to in the other reviews) is SO outrageously rude. Several of my neighbours will no longer go to this post office because of this. He needs a career change.
They automatically post a red card through your door and are too lazy to actually say your parcel here..... ring door bell before assuming the person is not in the house. Lucky there is not a 0 star I can press …
My experience with this post office is of a positive one. They were really helpful when I enquired about tracking history. Also, it's not crowded and I would definitely visit and use their service again.
Please change the opening and closing times. This is the closest post office near me and I find it so rude and inconvenient to get the bus there and find it shut when it’s supposed to be open.
The Staff need retraining. They refuse to accept letters with P.O.Box because it doesn't have post code. Even showed him proof of post from previous one and they still refused to accept it

I visited to buy euros and they were very prompt. The staff is very helpful and provided all information required for travel insurance as well.

The people running this post office are great and always very helpful! Last post collection is 17.15 so quite late which is also great!
