Hello??? Pottery Barn??? Next week will be 9 months since we ordered the table from the Chatswood store and 4 months since it was delivered with a cracked marble top. Still no replacement. Your last reply said it would be in stock on March 13 - "According to the notes on the account the table is on back order until 13th March 2022.” WHEN WILL WE GET OUR TABLE TOP PLEASE !!!!! ………………… Still no table !!! It is now 8 months since this order was made and paid for in full and 2 months since it was delivered broken - is there any update on delivery?? ………………… 7 months and waiting ….. We made a significant order on 3 July 2021 through the Chatswood store. We were assured (and shown on the system) by the salesperson that all items were in stock and ready to ship. After payment, we received emails saying one table was on back order. Updated Delivery Date by Email - November 1. Multiple phone calls to chase up……. Final Delivery - (December 24). On delivery, the marble top was cracked. We were assured by the delivery staff that a new one would be shipped after Christmas.. Call to Customer Support (following week) - no record of issues. We were assured she will chase up and notify - no further communication. Updated Delivery Email (9 January) : new order has been placed. Call to Customer Support (18 January) : out of stock and not expected until February 2022. Offered 10% discount for our troubles. (excuses to date - no record kept, pandemic, computer system slow to update, shipping problems .....)

So disappointed with the lack of assistance/service at this store. We are first time customers and we were so excited to make a purchase after finding the perfect dresser for our bedroom. The purchase was made in-store but the staff member just ended up going online to their website, not through a proper system to make the purchase. She reassured us that if there were any problems with delivery, then we could contact the store for assistance. That was the benefit of ordering through the store instead of just online at home. Then lo and behold, on the day of delivery, our dresser could not be delivered as it was considered too bulky to be brought up one flight of stairs. Despite paying for “deluxe” delivery, they couldn’t bring it up as they were short of manpower. I called Pottery Barn immediately and they said it wasn’t their problem, we had to sort it out ourselves. The next day, I received a few missed calls re our delivery. No answer when I returned the calls. So I called Pottery Barn again and asked if they could clarify if the number was theirs or the delivery people. The service person said they had no idea and didn’t even have the courtesy to check with a manager or get more info to help us. We are just so immensely disappointed with our experience at Pottery Barn Chatswood. We love the products but their service assistants are just rude, unhelpful, lacking in any care or customer intuition. What a way to turn off customers from a wonderful brand.

Bought a 4000 dollar outdoor lounge set from these guys... One piece was faulty in the 5 piece setting. Called the helpline... asked us to send an email with pictures... sent the email, no reply, called again, 2 weeks later, asked to send the email again... sent again, same thing again, called 2 weeks later again, same thing said email us again. Eventually. 4 months in, we threatened to go to the ombudsmen when they deicded that they want to reply and offered to to change the fauly piece. 5th month, sent the delivery. Guess what, wrong piece sent... we refused delivery. Then again called to fix it... said will send delivery again with the right item. Today the delivery was supposed to arrive so we cancelled plans to stay at home.. Guess what, no delivery, called to check, apparently the company did not make the item available to the courier company and have asked me to call these muppets again. I think fantastic furniture is better with their service than them, not to mention that they cost 10x and provide no service. IGNORE THEM AT ANY COST, or be prepared to waste months on simple issues incase they ever arise.

Terrible experience with a female sales staff member (Alan) from this store. Considering the size of the brand and the prices they’re charging you’d expect at least some level of care for customer satisfaction. SERVICES and POLICIES in this store are not the same as the Bondi store. I complained to the store manager (Anita), about the difference policy from their Bondi store, She answered: “Bondi store has a different manager. Here is my store with my policy and rules.” Good luck if you choose to shop at Chatswood Pottery Barn. Since there is no local office for customer complaints in AUS like there is in the US, no one cares about your problems. On the other hand the manager would say that's her store with her rules, which means they do whatever they want! Furniture is lovely, shame the brand is let down by poor service and unqualified staff. I recommend you to go to Bondi store, as the management are different, your experience would be completely different too.

Fantastic service and help from the team at Chatswood Chase! I had an unfortunate and impersonal service by the two older at the Bondi Junction location. We received a wedding gift and loved it, but it was damaged on receipt. We didn't want our friends to be informed of the exchange, so I asked if there's any way that we could make the exchange without having a refund go to our friend. Both women at Bondi Junction flat out said no, even after the customer service representative for Pottery Barn said it shouldn't be a problem and spoke to them. Went to Chatswood Chase instead and swapped it out with no problem. Even if Chatswood is a bit further, go there instead and save yourself disappointment and frustration.

My family and I had a very hard time with this store we had terrible service at Chatswood and online when we were struggling to get our pre payed table sent to us and we even had to get put through to America and they aren't giving our money back they are confusing prices and we have spoken to many superiors and we are very annoyed and it hasn't been sent and we have asked several time and they keep telling us that they have sent us parts of the table even though we ordered a full table and we have nothing. this has all been going on for months and they keep trying to make us wait. overall we will never buy something from this store let alone pre pay for it as our money has technically been stolen

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! RUN AWAY I am from the USA. The level of service, shipping, and products from here in the states are completely different in Australia! We purchased over $5k in baby furniture. The shipping took FOUR different attempts to deliver because the shipping company booked does not listen to instructions and guidelines that were stated FOUR different times. Depending on which customer service representative you speak to, either on the phone or via email, also states different rules for refunds and policies! They will con all of your money, make up lies and excuses, and expect you to wait around for them to get their information, delivery, and products correct.

Chatswood Store - pathetic customer service. The majority of the time you can't order online from this company and have to ring every store for what you are looking for. Today, I asked about the items I wanted to order, was told one item was in stock and that I would get a call back ASAP to process my order. Two hours later I gave up waiting and called back, only to be told that the item was not actually in stock, and that every item in the new delivery was smashed. Seriously? Get your act together Pottery Barn - either sell online or come up with a solution for customers to purchase from you where we don't have to waste half our day calling every store in Australia.

Always such great service at the Chatswood store. They’re often busy but always acknowledge you and apologise if you’ve been kept waiting. I’ve often felt they’ve gone above and beyond what I would have expected, and one of the designers (I can’t remember her name!) gave me amazing on the spot advice about my rug options that I was struggling with. I’ve noticed a lot of the negative reviews are to do with online orders, whereas the rug and console table I bought through the store on two different occasions were so easy and without any issues at all.

We purchased a leather armchair and a large lamp from this business on Saturday July 29. The goods arrived by courier on Thursday August 2 with the lamp being the incorrect colour. We advised Pottery Barn of this issue and are still waiting for the lamp to be picked up, and then will wait for the correct one to be delivered. The in-store service was great but it appears if the wrong goods are sent be prepared to wait. We have emailed and phoned to try and get action. Meanwhile they have our money and we have no lamp we can use.

Terrible service. Waited over seven weeks for delivery, which still has not arrived, when I was told there would be a 15 business day delay. Was told twice a delivery would be made on a given day and I waited at home but the delivery was not made and there was no call or text to advise me that the delivery had been cancelled either on the day or after the delivery day. Impossible to get any customer service after sale. I would recommend strongly that people look elsewhere and not shop at Pottery Barn.

Bought 12 champers, red wine, white wine, and H2O glasses. Did not have enough stock so sent me stock from BJ store. Instead of keeping boxes the glasses originally came in, they had to individually wrap each one! BJ store sent incorrect glasses. No one called me back after a week after asking them to re-order correct glasses. Have to make another trip to pick up correct glasses. What a waste of time! They also took ages to ring up my transaction....do they really want customers???

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered a buffet and in the shop they promised to deliver by end of December and it turns out they didn't have stock at all so they devilery was delayed until end of January and then we were told due to safety reasons by delivery company it will delayed for another months. We have received our order in March finally with lots of going back and forth phone calls. The quality of products are good but customer service is really bad

Sorry this review is not about pottery barn Chatswood but pottery barn in general. I ordered a change table, cloths and crib covers on the 20th of August… it has now been 2 months and i still haven’t received my order! Absolutely ridiculous… I’ve literally given birth to my baby and still haven’t received my order. Continuously blaming your warehouse move and COVID is not good enough… I will not be shopping at pottery barn again!

I recently had a brilliant shopping experience at Pottery Barn Chatswood due to the excellent service received from Francesco. He was friendly, professional and his product knowledge was exceptional. Unfortunately it’s a rarity in retail these days to find someone that is the complete package. I look forward to my next visit and hope Francesco will be there to look after me again.

Disappointed. Been a PB customer going back 14 yrs when living in NYC. So excited PB came to Australia. Have spent tens thousands over the last couple of yrs, but more recently orders are taking 6 -8 weeks to be delivered even when classified “ready to ship”. Called customer service, so unhelpful. Sad they cannot keep basic standards up.

Honestly, my experience has been mixed. I've been there several times and purchased quite a few items, and I have been attended by staff that are extremely helpful mostly, but there have been occasions where they have been not so friendly at times. Their delivery service, however, is not impressive..nothing like the delivery in the US.

The thing I love most about this store is that there isn't anyone constantly pushing you to purchase. I was asked politely if I needed service and checked on every so often. The lady that served me was personable and helpful. She was engaging without being overbearing. I would definatly go back to this store.

I occasionally buy 6 pack of beer before or after going to Coles. And I was here the other day 10mins before their closing time but the staff at the register said they are closed. When I came out from Coles, I saw bunch of people buying beer and it was even after their closing time. Not gonna come back again.

If you're looking for something special for your kids, this is the place. Amazing products, wide range and top quality products. Be warned, you will pay a hefty price though. Also, customer service is inconsistent. Sometimes it's really great and other times they don't even acknowledge you.

Awful - bought a bedhead with base frame. Assured by clueless assistant our existing base would fit - not even close. The smallest base would not even fit. They demand upfront payment but take almost a month to refund. Will NEVER shop there or any other PB ever again.

Don't bother shopping online. Ordered some items on sale back on 18 May 2023 and a couple items turned out to be not in stock which was communicated to me straightaway. Just received my refund today on 12 Jan 2024 nearly 8 months later!!!
