Really great first impression from Power Kitchen. This is my first time using a meal service like this, the customer service was absolutely amazing helping me get set up and place my first order. The were patient, knowledgeable, and helpful to the point they even gave me some tips and information I hadn't asked for but that made a huge difference when ordering. Delivery was on point, my order arrived at the beginning of the time window and the driver followed the directions perfectly which is very uncommon with delivery drivers. I was really happy with delivery fast and easy and I got a text once my order was delivered so I knew to go pick it up from outside. Tried my first meal right away which was the jerk chicken wrap. While it was super super delicious it was also really spicy and I don't like spicy. I'm very uncultured when it comes to food so it would be nice if on the website it said if meals were spicy. There are lots of foods and seasonings/flavours I've never had or heard of before. It would be helpful to prevent ordering spicy foods again and not have to go through the hassle of googling every single meal each week lol The only thing I wasn't super happy about that could have been done better is the actual packing of the meals. It said that meals would be packed in an insulated bag with ice packs to keep everything cold. I thought great! But when I got my food it was all room temperature and there was only one small ice pack in the bag for 7 meals which did absolutely nothing. What if my delivery didn't come until the end of the 3hr time window that would meal it would be sitting at room temperature for more than 3 hours which is not good considering they say it needs to be put in the fridge or freezer within 2hrs. Was definitely expecting my meals to come a little colder and more refrigerated than they were. Felt like they had been left out of the fridge for hours before being delivered which I'm sure is not the case but that's how it seemed. Overall I'm extremely happy with Power Kitchen and can't wait to try all my other meals this week. Will definitely be ordering again, and it's definitely worth the money.

I’ve been purchasing from Power Kitchen since summer 2021. A few thoughts based on my experience: 1. Customer service is great, I’ve had my order changed when I needed to and the delivery person reps led my order into a cooler on my porch. 2. Food quality has gotten way better since I first started ordering. My first few orders I had chicken that I swear was still raw. Or fatty bits of beef. I would throw those pieces out. But it hasn’t happened the past 3-4 months. So this has reduced the star rating. 3. Food is delicious. 4. Now the reason why my review is so low.. MACROS AND CALORIES ARE WAY OFF. I just got my most recent order and I’m currently on a cut. Couldn’t understand why my weight wasn’t dropping past 10 days despite being consistent and dropping prior to eating these meals.... and I started realizing in myfitnesspal I couldn’t get the macros vs calories to line up (some variance is normal) there is 100+ calorie variance on the meals I ordered. I don’t know what macros are being tracked incorrectly and I don’t even know if the calories are correct for the beef barbaco (there is a huge portion of that quinoa go to pasta in there and that is a high calorie carb food…)

We can’t comment on the quality of the food because we had to throw it out (because of failed safe delivery of perishable items.) We can comment only the effectiveness and ease of the delivery service which was non-existent. After giving up trying to get the food delivered to us when we were home, (we’re up at 5 daily, home by 6, 8 on training days, in bed by 9:30 - hence us wanting to use a convenient and healthy food service!) we were told our delivery would be moved to a Sunday when we were out of town for the day (Previous attempts were late, and we got a call attempting delivery at 10:30 after we were asleep) So we left a cooler outside our door filled with ice packs and a note that clearly read: POWER KITCHEN, please place order inside cooler, thank you!) Not only did the delivery guy say he didn’t have our buzzer (he did) he then didn’t use any common sense at all, ignored the cooler and left our food to sit at room temperature for 6 hours. So we’re disappointed with Power Kitchen to say the least. We gave this a shot but when folks are kind of asleep at the wheel and a service that’s supposed to solve our problems ends up creating more of them, it’s hard to get on board…. Never again.

In all honesty, I’ve been looking at getting a meal delivery service for over a year. I went with power kitchen after reading their reviews, looking at their menu and cost. I have to say, this delivery service is the best in the GTA. The meals always taste fresh, the portions are incredible and the communication from the power kitchen time is flawless. They have so many meal options which is ultimately what I require as I get bored with eating the same thing everyday. Power fresh allows me to input all the Marcos for the week into my fitness pal and build my groceries around that. It’s been a great experience. They offer you to also change your meals before delivery which is AMAZING if you don’t like something! The website is also very easy to navigate. I can not recommend this delivery service enough! If you’re thinking about it, do it!

I've tried a lot of prepared meal services, especially ones that advertise as being healthy/weight maintenance friendly, and Power Kitchen is by far the best. Their food is well priced and the flavour is top notch! Many other healthy prepared meal services aren't able to deliver on the flavour side because healthy usually means tasteless and dry - but not Power Kitchen! They cater to paleo, vegan, bulking, shredding, keto, you name it. It's such a flexible service that really meets my needs as a busy and active professional. It's perfect to pop in the microwave right after the gym. Food is never dry and the containers are recyclable too! Additionally, customer service is great and very much on the ball! I typically connect with Vanessa on the chat function and she's great at answering questions and resolving any issues. Vanessa - thank you again for all of your help every week!

The quality is good, however I have tried several times to get them to not include a certain vegetable side in my meals, I have even gone into my cart and removed the item, and yet, still they continue to send it. I have had to cancel my subscription because that food makes me nauseous. I contacted their Service desk and they told me "Sorry we can't add notes or customizations, you can only cancel your order or remove items", but when I did that it applies only to the next week, and by that time, the side dish items change, so its impossible to actually alter your cart properly for the current week. Doesn't make sense a food delivery company doesn't let you add minor mods/notes regarding what you actually want to buy. I'm not asking for mods like at a restaurant, I'm just asking please don't send me rotten beets. Not hard.

The meals were ok. I tried it for a few weeks. Shared some random meals with some friends and we were all pretty unimpressed with the flavour. The proteins tastes somewhere between ok and good but the most of the meals have a lack of salt, herbs, or flavour in general especially in the carbs and veg. Like....really not appealing. I can't say it felt like a good value for the cost. At this level of bulk ordering I feel like the pricing structure should be a bit better. The delivery service was a highlight with generally good communication. cancelling my subscriptions was purposefully annoying. They make you cancel every single item individually instead of just letting you click an end subscription button. Small thing, but time consuming and annoying. not the worst, but couldn't recommend it.

We both work extremely busy jobs and finding it difficult to find time to make our lunches during the work day, we were constantly eating take out because it was quick and easy. Then Power Kitchen entered our life and has saved us from fast food hell. The ordering process is super easy, the delivery is on point with driver tracking and the meals are delicious when you reheat them. We also have tried the One bite brownie and PB protein balls and it’s just a nice healthy “cheat” snack. We don’t use it for macro tracking, but the Power Kitchen Box is the perfect portion for me and my husband actually said the Pro Athlete Box portion might be just a little too big for him for lunch (would be a great dinner size) so you do not go hungry with these meals. 100% will be ordering again

Ok. So. This place, is STUPID GOOD! I've been recommending them at my workplace; just, randomly, and, on my own. Because. These people deserve that. And I wish them the best. To cook EXCELLENT AND FILLING AND WHOLESOME AND DELICIOUS food that doesn't taste AT ALL MECHANICAL, on this size? Is phenomenal. Humongous portions. I'm talking like 9 pounds, per. Feels like, anyways. Delivery all-in I spend $50/week for three meals a week without any repetitions so far. I'd like to thank everybody involved and the driver. They're all so neat and efficient and convenient. They alert you and ask your opinion and are very modern. The trays are not aluminum so one can heat them in anyway they desire. I'm addicted and am going to order weekly probably for like a decade. They make my life!

I am always skeptical of these meal services because the food tends to taste pretty bad after a few days then put in the microwave. I’m not over stating this when I say that I was absolutely shocked by how good it was. Particularly the shepherds pie and the braised beef dishes were spectacular. The images do not do them justice. They taste much better than they look in the e packaging. I have a very busy schedule with no time to cook and they have so many options to customize meals, add protein, fat, carbohydrates depending on what I want. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever need my kitchen again The moment I had my first meal, I placed another $200 order. It’s really good, try it out

I got to say, I have been skeptical of meal prep companies. However, my friend recently ordered Power Kitchen and I had a bite...and I was immediately hooked. I have been subscribing to their meals for around 3 months or so, and they really make me feel a lot better day-to-day. It's great noticing how eating in an organized and nutritious way really changes how you operate and show up. Some of the Korean-inspired dishes do tend to be oversalted or maybe it's just not how I personally enjoy those plates, but otherwise, the quality has been consistent so far (and wow, they sure do look much better than some of the photos from a few year's back posted in these reviews) Thank you Power Kitchen!

I've ordered a one-week delivery split into two days. I mostly dislike the quality of the food. Some dishes are decent while other ones either smell funny, have too much fat, or just give you a heartburn and make you feel bad in general. They probably don't use fresh ingredients. I've been thirsty after eating the food, so I think they must add a lot of salt also. Lousy quality in general. Home cooked is much better. Their website has a confusing and inconvenient interface and they send a lot of sms messages about the order. Hard to find how to unsubscribe. After trying their food for one week, I've unsubscribed and decided to stick to home cooking. Bad experience.

The food is SO good and deliveries are reliable. My complaints (otherwise five stars): Calorie Discrepancy: The listed carbs, fat & protein NEVER add up to the calories. For example, my meal today has 44g of protein, 25g of carbs & 13g of fat, which should add up to 393 calories but instead, calories are listed on the label as 482.... This makes me not trust it at all, which is very tough when you are supposed to be tracking macros - so, which is right?? Food Arrives Warm: I've had other delivery services arrive COLD. I don't know if it's because I'm further away but this one arrives warm, which always makes me question if its safe. I think throwing in an additional ice pack might help with further deliveries?

Over the past couple years I've tried almost all of the prepared meal delivery services in Toronto, all of which I've gotten bored with in a very short period of time. Power Kitchen is in a league of it's own! Their meals are phenomenal! Restaurant grade food, but healthy and at an excellent price point! My partner and I can't believe that we're on week 5 of ordering and still haven't repeated a dish! Also, their customer service is top notch! They promptly addressed a concern I had over one item from last week's order. Finally, their rewards program is of extremely high value! Definitely going to be using this service for quite some time to come! Highly recommend!

You know it’s gonna be a good week when power kitchen drops off the goods on a Sunday I love using power kitchen the weeks I don’t have time to meal prep. With a busy work schedule I need to stay organized to still keep up with a regular meal plan or else no bueno. Especially when traveling or packed weekends, having these meals ready and loaded is a life saver. A bit more expensive than making is myself but I get quality time and portion control in return. Highly recommend. Also, if you like working out (I do) these meals are designed to complement a nutritious diet.

The service has been great! We signed up for a weekly meal plan as a healthy alternative to ordering take out. The servings are perfect for one person and are exactly the same as what’s presented in the images. What I appreciate the most is that they have an option where you can switch up the meals if the selection doesn’t match your taste. I saw another review stating they didn’t communicate the closure over the holidays but I received multiple text and email communications regarding it. I’ve thought that the communications and flexibility regarding the plans and deliveries have been amazing.

Was not expecting the quality and taste of the food to be as good as it is! Was also pleasantly surprised by the great communication the entire time (confirmation emails/texts, notification of when my order is arriving, the live feed of the driver, after delivery notification as it is not being delivered directly to me). I feel a lot of companies now a days do not go above and beyond like this, so I was not expecting much this time. Definitely VERY satisfied with everything from packaging, presentation, portions, taste, quality, to the customer service and communication. Will be ordering every week with confidence.

Tried the clean shredding meal plan and was pleasantly surprised. We loved every meal in the selection though they vary in calories so we regretted not grabbing snacks some days. Food was delicious, kept well in the fridge all week and had easy instructions for reheating. I do wish it was easier to make a substitution or two but I suppose that would be a custom plan. Price is on par with other meal services but this one accommodated allergies, dietary restrictions and preferences well. No taste sacrificed!

I can’t say enough positive things about this service. My wife and I work two busy jobs, have two young kids, and we’re finding little energy to cook a healthy meal and clean up afterwards. We were resorting to meal delivery service with healthy-ish options. This is our first week with Power Kitchen and it is amazing. The food costs less than what I was paying for delivery service meals, it looks, tastes and smells amazing, but best if all it’s fresh, healthy and there is so much variety. After two nights of feeding my wife, myself and our two kids this food, I am sold!

After being a loyal customer for nearly six months, the very sudden increase in prices (e.g., $45 per lb of salmon versus the original $17 per lb, which is about four filets) has left me cheated and angry. I cannot afford to pay their new ludicrous price range when ordering bulk proteins. Their excuses from inflation to labour shortage in order justify nearly tripling their food costs in just one week are pathetic. Goodbye, Power Kitchen. I'm off to find an affordable meal delivery service that isn't you.

We've been ordering Power Kitchen for months now! The food quality is very consistent and the meal rotation is diverse enough for us to not be bored with our meals. I just LOVE having a balanced meal waiting for me at lunch time, especially when I'm in a creative mood and don't want to take a break to cook a meal. The delivery has been great since the beginning; they've made sure to get me my meals even when I'm the jerk that forgets the delivery is coming. Would recommend Power Kitchen to any of my friends in a heartbeat!

I was told by an occupational therapist that I should eat healthier. Neither my wife nor I know how to cook vegan meals so the OT suggested Power Kitchen. I was surprised by the great quality, reasonable price and simple reheating of the meals. The only issue I've had involved ordering additional meals and snacks to try. Power Kitchen added them to my weekly subscription. However, their friendly and helpful "chat" people promptly resolved it.

This meal prep is amazing! Tastes great all the food is actually bomb! I’m a cyclist and I need quick easy and delicious food and this nails it! The delivery driver is prompt and they have a tracking site to see where the driver is. Also the bags are returnable and the cold pack is returnable as well so I feel good not having to waste cardboard etc. As well as the containers are not plastic which I feel even better about! Overall I’m super happy and the price is on point! Cheers power kitchen keep it up!

PowerKitchen is a great meal prep service, I’ve been using them for about 4 months now. They’re delivery schedule and timing is consistent. Their menus have so much diversity and change weekly, which is such a plus! Also, the food is clearly high quality as I had used another company prior and definitely immediately saw a difference in the food once switching. The only thing, if any, would be the price is quite steep but if you prioritize portion controlled, healthy food then it’s worth it I’d say.

I'm about a month in now to weekly deliveries, and the food has been great with plenty of variety! The bags that the food come in, probably need to be a bit better, and the packaging can be flimsy if the driver hasn't handled it with care. With any issues I've had a quick chat with customer service has resolved everything and very quickly! I've upped my rating from 4 to 5 simply based on customer service. I will continue to use this service for my weekly dinners, as it's great!

Been getting weekly deliveries since the beginning of the year. It has helped me stay on track with eating healthy and not ordering take out! Ordering and meal selection is easy and there is nice variety. Delivery is reliable and could not be more convenient. Best of all it doesn't come in a big box, comes in a reusable bag and that I just set out and it gets replaced, so I don't have cardboard overflowing my recycling like with other delivery services. Looooove Power Kitchen.

Sorry, these are VERY CLEARLY FALSE REVIEWS. First of all, over 400 reviews on a specialized product should alert you right away. Save your money and buy a lean cuisine type meal for $5 each at the supermarket. The quality is the same and you may actually get a better portion size. The customer service was awful and once you purchase nothing can be returned, even if they are at fault.

First time ordering from here. I’ve had 3 of the meals so far of the Clean Shredding box and they are absolutely delicious!! Great portions, flavourful and well-packaged. Very happy with my choice. Ordering and delivery experience was great. Was sent a text an hour or so before scheduled delivery to advise that driver was on route and even got a link to be able to track driver’s exact progress. Looking forward to trying the Keto meal Box next!

Have been eating Power Kitchen keto plan for a couple of months now. Delivery is dependable and we generally enjoy the variety of meals provided. They dealt with my nut allergy no problem and their substitutions are good (I don’t like olives). Glad they switched up the menu for the season-was getting a little bored. The food is good and portion size is consistent (small but that’s good if you’re watching calories). Customer service is great!

I placed my first order online with Power Kitchen and the ordering process was smooth and simple. There were many great looking options online. I chose 9 meals for my first order. The delivery process, communication and live tracking feature was very helpful and accurate. I tried my first meal today, Ground turkey sausage, peppers, Moroccan quinoa and garlic zucchini and its delicious! Looking forward to the other new meals.

Food is yummy and healthy. A nutritionist even called to review my preferences and I was able to tweak things more to match the needs of my teenage son/myself. I no longer stress about what to make during the week or order take out last minute. This ended up being more economical in the end for me. I have tried several meal deliveries over the last few months, and this is definitely the one I'm sticking with. Flavourful food, nicely sized portions, easy to handle packaging and attentive customer service. The ordering process was pretty easy too, and I also like that I don't have to stick to a subscription if I don't want to just in case I'd like to switch my meal plan or mix dishes as I like.

This is my second week ordering from Power Kitchen and so far I love it! The meals are tasty, it’s very easy to order and there are lots of options for finding the right macros for your needs. Delivery is great and prompt. You will spend maybe a little more than you would if you did meal prep yourself, but I find having the extra free time on Sunday is so worth it. I highly recommend this service.

There were dead flies in my food, within 1 container, about 5 of them that I could count. Spit the food out. This is a fabulous company for anyone who is busy and wants to eat clean! There are weeks that I just need a break from the kitchen as a busy Mom of 2, but I don’t want to skimp on nutrition at a fast food place. Currently receiving the Keto boxes. The food is very tasty . I had a question and used the on line chat and it was quick and helpful. This is the third delivery service I have tried and the food is definitely the best and the delivery packaging is great with no waste as the insulated bag is left for them to pick up and then sanitize and reuse.

Very happy with my meals and the variety to choose from. I'm impressed that they come in biodegradable packaging over plastic as environmental concerns are very important to me. Local with great customer service! These meals helped me to loose 20lb over a 5-months period. I’ve been able to keep that weight off for 6 months now. Very good selection of food. So I asked they cancel the order. They charged my card without permission then says they can only refund it as sore credit?? Great company!

I found this meal prep service through some people at my gym, and I have not been disappointed!!! The meals are absolutely delicious, and don't seem to go bad as fast as the last service I used. The variety is amazing and macros are awesome! I will continue to recommend Power Kitchen to friends and family!

The best meal delivery service I’ve tried. I do have to add salt and pepper to the meals but the ingredients are always fresh and the portions are perfect. Their jerk chicken is amazing (and I’m Jamaican). Really every meal they have is so yummy. The macros are good too for people observing the keto diet.

For the past two weeks Power Kitchen has provided convenient and delicious meals. As a student, it’s healthier, and less expense then Uber Eats. It’s less time consuming then making a full healthy meal every night. I’m really enjoying it. They communicate through text which is very convenient as well.

Great service and great meal selection! We needed ready-made meals when dealing with a kitchen reno and we totally didn’t expect to find something so convenient and tasty! The portion sizes are good and I like how we can mix meals from within the different plans. This is so much better than take out.

Totally disappointed for the price. All the food taste the same. I ordered the keto meals and they are by far the worst I’ve had. Each meal contains a little container of olive oil which is pointless. Will never order from them again. The only good thing was the delivery.

Best meal prep for athletes that I've come across. I've tried a few and Power Kitchen is the only one where I was ordering week after week. Great taste, good portions, I like that the containers are oven safe, and I like that they print the macros on every meal

As a body builder, the most important thing for gains is food and diet. Power kitchen never fails to satisfy and fuel me. The food stays so fresh even after reheating that it’s like someone just cooked me a meal! Such a great company!

Tried a couple of services and I really like this one. Great flavours and I like that they take back the transport containers. Hated throwing out boxes all the time. Delivered when they said they would and very good customer service.

I really love it! I'm on week 2 - makes my life so much easier. Analysis paralysis is a real thing when it comes to weight loss and health goals. I love to cook but Power Kitchen definitely saves me time and produces less food waste.

SO MUCH SALT. There’s a reason they’re not showing the sodium as part of their nutrition numbers. Everything is so, so salty. There must be 2,000-3,000mg per item.

I buy the bulk items and mix'n match portioning them. I got 15 meals from this delivery, virtually no dirty dishes and best of all the delivery came at 6pm and I had everything portioned and put away by 6:30pm!!!

I don’t like cooking ! The main reason to stick to power kitchen is because I am lazy and they make good food. I usually get custom made meal cause I am picky with my veggies. The chef does a good job.

So far so good! Portions are great, lists calories and macros on the side of the dish, and of course saves me a ton of time each day. Delivery is also great as you get constant updates.
