They are often open on days other than Wednesday, which is their typical day—visit their website for the most up to date schedule. I was entertained by the librarian action figures encased in plastic near the front of the stacks (I suspect that the Prelinger librarians are all actually be superheroes themselves!).

I love this library! Visited yesterday on a field trip for an anthropology grad class at CIIS. Adrienne, the volunteer who showed us around was much more than a volunteer-she was freaking amazing. Her research and knowledge was impressive.

This hidden gem of a library is totally worth a visit! The people are super friendly and the space is very unique. They even have some free books from time to time! Just sign the guest book and enjoy.
