DISGRACEFUL. They tricked us and lied to us. They sold us a car with faulty brakes, which already says a lot about them, because these are car parts that seriously compromise our safety. They said they had 50% life and that they had 15 or 20 thousand kilometers left without repairs. First 400 km trip we did, the car steering was trembling, it seemed like it would break at any moment and we would crash. We were so scared, so we call the 3-month or 3000 km warranty which "they had done us the favor of gifting us" and we discovered that they also lied in the contract about the km that the car had, writing that it had 1500 km less, so, in reality, our "free 3-month warranty" was about to expire due to mileage. Still, we understood that they had given us a reasonable price, if the car lasted, and we tried by all means for several weeks to contact them to negotiate the issue of the repair, at least to share the expense ($ 400 just for the front brakes, the rear ones are also very worn out). Among all this, and other details that we have been finding, a very bad feeling when it could have been very different. They haven't answered us by text, email or phone call. Pathetic sellers and pathetic people, ripping off people with something that could have killed us. If you want to buy a car, try any other dealer on that street. Good day. Saludos

I felt a bit overwhelmed needing a dependable van for my family with small children on a very tight budget. I knew I would have to buy an older car and would probably have to guard myself against being given a junker for my price range. I selected Premier originally because they have a huge selection of cars and I could probably find a good van there without having to visit many dealers. I went to the lot on a saturday and Peter was there showing a few ppl cars. He was awesome and friendly and helped point out vans that they could offer in my range. They do safety inspections on each car but they encourage you to get a full mechanical inspection because of course they dont know the detailed run down of all of the used vehicles. I liked that honesty...they didn't push it on me and promise it would be perfect. They offer a no questions asked 2 day money back guarantee. I went ahead and purchased my van from Al..who is genuine and a pleasure to do business with and then had the mechanic check it after I bought it since I had the 2 day return policy as a cushion. It had a pretty major fix needed so Al took it back and promised to find a van that worked well for me or would give money back...whichever I wanted. I opted to check out the other vans. Found a newer model that was great and without going on and on with this review let me just say the team at Premier was amazing getting it ready for me... thanking me and showing that they genuinely cared that I was doing business with them. I have been in the hospitality industry for 17 years in Nyc, DC and LA at some of the best hotels in the world and I would literally lead training in customer service based on what Al and Peter did for me every step of the process of buying my van. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. I dont understand how my experience is so completely different from the other reviewers but it was amazing and I bought january 2014. Whatever problems might have been here in the past I am confident they are corrected now.

If only I could give this place less than 1 star. I found a Jetta and an Elantra that Premier Auto Sales were advertising on Craigslist. I particularly liked the Elantra but the Jetta seemed like good value too. Despite the terrible reviews I got to the dealership at 5pm (they close at 5.30 according to the add) but the place was empty. I called Al and was cheerfully told "I'm so sorry, today was the first time in 4 years we closed early." But I was reassured that he still had the cars I was looking for. So I transit home at rush hour and end up getting home in a slightly distasteful mood 2.5 hours later than if I'd gone home straight from work. But I'm still interested so I headed back the next day. After half an hour of searching it turns out the Elantra was sold a week before despite being told the day before that he still had it. This really annoyed me but I test drove the Jetta anyway which wasn't bad apart from the service light was on and a few other things. I said I'd think about it. The next day I called him saying I was concerned about the need for a service and wondered if he would give me a better price with this in mind. "I'll call you back" he says. 4 days later I call him back after not hearing from him. He gives some BS excuse about "writing my number down wrong" even though I called his mobile which he had correctly read back to me in a previous conversation. If all this isn't bad enough he then tells me he isn't going to budge on the price. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO BUY A CAR FROM THESE CLOWNS! Waste of my time and very frustrating experience. Destroyed their toilet as partial compensation.

Please avoid this freakin' place. I went there with my wife and kid to check the van on their adds. Got there, but no one around to services. I went inside the office and most of them talking to each others and not noticing me at all. I finally flag one down. This dude is so terrible at his job, which i wonder how he even got there. Anyhow, I asked to see the car which my main purpous. Everything seem going smoothly with the car, the wife and I seem to be ok with the shapes sinces it's an older model 2003 mazda mpv. It's been on the posting for quite sometimes now. Then I asked for the test drive since I wants to know what i'm dealing with. This is where the sale rep. kept pushing me to buy it. I goes "once I test drive it, then I know for sure whether to buy it or not", but he's not listening to what I said. He wanted me to purchase it or put down payments. I got annoyed by now. Other sale moron still in the office sitting around. They glimpsed over our conversation but nothing was address like this is their normal thing. The sale guy still wouldn't want me to take it for a spin. At this point, I just gave up on this place. I left the lot. All this experience took less than 10mins. I should of read the review first about this place. All I can says is I would never buy or visit this place again. Not worth my times.

I bought 2007 Toyota Camry on Dec27'2020 and had to return to the dealer in 3 days with scratching sound from brakes. Found the left front rotor scratched and brakes down to 15% (were 50% in seller's inspection report). The same mechanic next door they use for inspection reports did inspect the brakes and informed so. Then the Dealer offered to replace front rotors and brake pads on 50% sharing expense (out of total 350$). I went in for detail inspection at a workshop and found front left bearing wasted and right rear hub gone, also rear brakes at 20%. Had to get front left hub bearing and rear right hub replaced alongwith all brake pads. Also found AC not working. The delaer says AC should have been checked prior buying, anyways, its not the leaks in the refrigerant but some other fault which needs to be found. In short, it is truly unprofessional of Premier auto sales to have sold the car with excessive worn brakes and incorrect misleading report. I recollect how they sold the car and how trustingly I had bought it along with 6 months warranty , but never thought the authorized dealers do also sell such cars and cheat people of their hard earned money and risk their lives. Shame on this delaer for thier unethical and unprofessional act.

I was recently queried by the business about a poor review I supposedly left and was asked why I had a $3000 repair bill without contacting them at all, but I did nothing of that sort. So I looked, and there was a poor review here with my exact name, WHICH IS REALLY WEIRD because I bought a used nissan sentra here with my mother back last early November. My mother still uses the car daily and there hasn't been any issues with it yet, so take that as you will. Here's a photo of the sentra parked. If you want more evidence I was a real customer, maybe reply below. idk. Anyways, I feel like this business is at least very diligent in providing you with a working car, they have guaranteed repair insurance on the drivetrain, engine, and other parts that I dont remember. (I think it's guaranteed don't quote me) and they were very quick to get in contact with me about "my" review (which I didn't leave). But yeah, that's just my opinion, test every car before you buy em. Every used car place gives me bad vibes including this one but as I said I bought a car from here and Im happy with it. I think the other review with my name is a bot or something, but if its a bot how did they get my name? I have no clue anymore. It's so difficult to tell now.

BEWARE. These guys are thieves! I bought a car with a 30 day limited guarantee. The transmission went within the 30 day period so I took it back and they told me I would have to pay for them to run the diagnostic test and that even then they may not find any problems with it. All you had to do was drive it to know that the transmission was gone. They would not honour the guarantee nor would they offer to help in any way, wouldn't even look at it. I took the car to an auto repair shop and the mechanic confirmed that the transmission was gone, told me that the car was a piece of junk and it would not be worth replacing the transmission as there were far to many other issues with the car. I wrote to Premier Auto and explained what the mechanic told me and asked for them to refund my money based on the clause in the guarantee that stated that in the event of a catastrophic failure, they would refund the cost of the car in full. I never heard back from them and when I went in they said that they would not refund my money. Unless you have money to throw away, I would stay well away from this place.

Buyer Beware.  I purchased a used Volvo from  Premier Auto Sales on June 08, 2018 and two weeks later with less than 500KM driven the transmission went, leaving me with a $2,800 repair bill.  When I contacted the company, their attitude was pretty much "too bad, you got a good deal on the car.  There's nothing we can do for you!" When I purchased the car, I was told there was no warranty.  Now I know why! Additionally, the car as sold, had the incorrect tires on the vehicle and, according to the tire shop I went to the tires were coming apart which made them dangerous.  Cost of new tires was $650.00. Also had to replace the battery because they had put an under powered battery in the car, which was another $250.00 So, for a car purchased for $4.500, I've already spent $3,800 in repairs and since the gas mileage has been getting progressively worse since driving it off the lot, I suspect there are more repairs in the future. I was told that car had a complete inspection, but given all that was wrong with it I fiend that hard to believe. And you wonder why people don't trust used car dealers.

  • Robin Omura

I had responded to a number of their ads on kijiji as they seemed to have a rather large inventory of cheap vehicles. Let me make it clear that the REASON they have such low prices is because they will sell ANYTHING that passes a safety inspection, whether it runs or not. Sadly, 2 days is not a significant amount of time to determine any problems with a vehicle unless you've got a mechanic able to do a full inspection on it. There are 3 guys who handle the sales of all their used vehicles. One of them is the lot guy who is in and out of their yard, and the other two handle things mostly from the office. All of the vehicles are unlocked to allow customers to get in and get a feel. Test drives are almost always solo, they'll give you the keys and you can take it around the block (just be sure when they pull it out for you that they remember to put a demo plate on it). When all is said and done, there are on average 5 to 10 vehicles on the entire lot that are worth buying and price will probably be better than you'll get anywhere else...the hard part is finding these easter eggs.

This is for Andreas and Al. Firstly, thank you so much for your outstanding service. After finding your website I saw the numerous bad reviews given by people. I was apprehensive to fly down to Vancouver to pick up a car that I purchased over the phone and had never seen aside from the photos. I purchased a 2008 Sebring convertible that had been rebuilt because it was in an accident. I didn't expect a lot of value for the price but you guys proved me wrong. I picked the car up yesterday and drove it home to the Okanagan. The car looks, drives, and performs like a brand new car. I did not expect this and this is why I am super happy with my purchase. I want to thank you once again. I am a very happy customer and will be coming back to purchase another car next time. Thank you again, Tom F, Okanagan.

Went in with the idea I was leaving with a car no matter what. Had a particular car in mind that I was quite fond of. I came in expecting the car to have a few issues. I got a pre purchase inspection and it was indeed the case (as with most older used cars). Mentioned it to the salesperson and discussed our options. Soon enough we came to a mutual agreement and left shortly afterwards with keys in hand. Most of these negative reviews are people expecting to buy a used car in new condition at near of bellow market value. If you don't do your due diligence before buying a used car, you're gonna have a bad time. Anyways, the guys at Premier and the salesperson, Andreas, took good care of me and I recommend dealing with them for a used car.

Went to drive a few vehicles, filled out paperwork for financing. Then was told they sold the vehicle. Went back against my better judgement and drove another vehicle, was set on it. Asked to drive the other one, but was told that it was having a part ordered in. I said okay, I am very interested and would like to drive the van before I purchase it, left my phone number to be contacted when it was ready to drive. Emailed that night to insist on driving it as is so that I could confirm the purchase. No response. Emailed to inquire about the "free warranty" and when I could test drive it as it was only to find out that the vehicle is pending. My advice - when going here, is don't ask too many questions..

I couldn't ask for a better place to buy a used car. Andreas was very helpful. I bought my older car, a '98 Civic, from there a year ago. At first there was an issue with it starting. Andreas personally came to my house to see what the issue was, got it towed back to the dealerships mechanic and then they fixed the problem within a day or two, since a new part had to be brought in. It was so hassle free and he dealt with things in such a professional manner. I am looking at getting a different vehicle now because I need more space for work and will definitely be going back here to switch vehicles. 100% do and will continue to recommend this place to buy a used car.

  • Kevin Scrimgeour

I just bought a car yesterday it has a check engine light today Saturday. Along with a vibration not running smooth all of a sudden. They are closed now it will be interesting to see what they do. I hope they honour the fact that one day later a bit too soon to have a problem. My wife is pregnant and we needed the SUV to move with. I will keep you posted. So far I am very happy they are trying very hard to accommodate and remedy the problem. It is difficult to predict issues on any vehicle however when a major one happens it is not a good experience. We are still negotiating but I am very happy so far with the honesty and effort placed to find a solution.

  • A Hayward

Overall a relatively positive experience purchasing our first vehicle from a used dealer. Note to buyers: Get an independent pre-purchase inspection! We were assured the vehicle was in great working condition, only for our mechanic to find a major repair (cracked exhaust manifold) after listening to the car for 5 seconds. Thankfully, Andreas and the Premier Auto team compensated us a portion of the bill (about 40%) as an apology for the inconvenience. Definitely worth it to pay the $100 and get the vehicle inspected on your own ahead of time as the 3rd party mechanic Premier uses doesn’t seem to know his stuff!

  • Munawar Ahmed

Thanks all for telling your experience .I had same experience in 2010 with another one close to this place where the guy wanted me to sign the sales deal without putting any agreed price .When asked, his explanation was,he will approach his boss in the next room to allow some discount after which he will write down the price.RED FLAG.I stood up from the seat and said it's over and walked out.The guy didn't say a word. Recently,I had an eye on a SUV but was hesitant about this 1600 Hasting location, now is there any good apple there for a test drive. Are they mainly brokers? acquired inventory as an agent?

  • Tamara (Khaos Kitti)

The most unprofessional business I have encountered. My fiancé and I had contacted them earlier this week and set up an appointment to look at a Dodge Nitro today.. we took transit all the way from Maple Ridge to get to this appointment and test drive said car. When we arrived, Andreas let us know that it was sold LAST NIGHT. There was no attempt to contact us to cancel so we came all this way just to learn the vehicle we wanted was already gone. Zero contact, zero customer service, zero remorse, and zero professionalism. For all that, they'd get zero stars if I was able.

  • Isabella Merjanian

I do not trust the sales people. I went in to check out a vehicle, and the sales guy said it was very well maintained, but the carfax report had some major gaps. I asked specifically about rust and he said there is none but when I checked out the car there was clearly rust in the engine and it even looked like there was rust on the inner wheel wells that had been painted over. Same under the vehicle. Overall I found it a very abrasive "salesy" experience and it seemed as if no issues were disclosed until I discovered them myself.

  • Andrew Hutchinson

Stay away! I bought a smaller Acura from this place and within days of driving it off the lot I had the check engine light come on. Eventually, a couple weeks later, I found out that I had a blown head gasket. When they say "It's the best car we have on the lot," don't believe them. Don't believe anything they say (especially the creepy guy at the second lot). And, the warranty and refund they offer is complete bullshit. Take your money somewhere else, no matter how good the deal is.

  • Jakob Heim

Bought an Odyssey for 3000$ to travel arround with it. Thought we made a good deal, felt good counseled by Andreas who was friendly and could help us a lot with insurance and stuff because just like us he is from Germany. After our trip, about 7 weeks later with 9000 km more on the mileage we tried to sell the car and found out that we payed way to much. Amongst others we brought the car back to this place to ask them what we'd get for it and without batting an eye they said 800$!

  • Veena Mathews

It's about a year now, I got my Mercedes C300 from here. I was very skeptical and scared but I have to say the team was very hands on, patient and kind enough to help me understand everything. There was an issue with the spare key fob they agreed to pay for the fix and also gave me a free oil change service. AJ was so kind to speak with me over the phone for over an hour to explain everything and Andreas helped with the process and I am very happy with my car. God bless them :)

  • Kevin Keiser

Basically the same review as Barton's below...bought a car for $4000+ last year. Timing chain had to be replaced within a few days of owning it which we split the cost with premier auto (to be fair they should have paid all of it) don't sell a broken car that is unsafe to drive. Since one year have had to replace the battery, all 4 tires, and now I'm looking at $4,000 in repairs for about 7 different problems from new alternator to controller arm Thanks premier auto.

  • Keith-Anthony Ó Néill

Buyer beware! This lot takes in beaten up cars and passes them on to people at a healthy cost. Once your 7 day warranty runs out, you’re on your own! If you go back with any issues that have arisen they will stone-wall you. That is my direct experience. The only way I would say buy from these people is if you bring a mechanic with you to identify the problems prior to buying! Overall, I would not recommend this business! Go to a trust worthy sales lot.

  • Anthony

Had to call multiple times before someone answered. If they did have a car I was interested I wouldn't even bother calling a 2nd time and they'd lose a potential sale. When I got there it took a while for anyone to even acknowledge I was there. The sales person was very dismissive and clearly had no interest in selling me on the vehicle. Shrugged off questions about the cars history and ignored the minor issues that I pointed out and asked about.

  • whiskey Adams

I bought a 2010 civic dxg from these people for $6500. Not sure of the name of the sales person but he was great. I had read good and bad reviews about this specific dealership. Had the car for about 2 months and no problems so far. Waited to post this after seeing the bad reviews but I can gladly say when my sister gets her new used car I will be bringing her here to see if there is anything she might like FIRST. Cheers to the sales guy

  • Kurt & Mau

Bought my Land Rover here. It needed work on the rear differential, but that wasn't covered under the warranty I bought. I recommend that we split the cost - they agreed and repaid me quickly and effortlessly. Overall they were easygoing and good to deal with. I'm still very happy with my purchase more than 6 months later. I also had 2 successful and easy-to-make claims on the third-party extended warranty, it paid for itself.

  • Marine M.

We bought the car 3 months ago. The car supposed to be checked up and with any problem. 3 weeks after buying, a first issu occured = 500$, one month later, an other one. The second one will cost up to a thousand dollards. The shop told us that a car checked up 3 months ago should not have these issues. I think that if you buy at premier auto sale you have to fall into the good car. If you are not lucky it's your problem....

  • Rez Ol

I have had many experiences with dealerships prior to this but this one by far the worst possible. Bought a car from here "from the showroom" and started having issues within a few weeks and when the dealership was contacted on multiple occasions no response was given. The car went to the mechanic many times in the past few months for leaks, brakes and other issues. Definitely would not recommend anything from this place!

  • Maarten Van Ruitenburg

They were very helpful trying to sell me a car. But the car did not have a safety inspection done on it, and after a BCAA inspection (which you really need to do at this place) it was deemed unsafe to drive, and repairs would cost as much as the car was worth. I am sure they are not all like this, but just make sure you do an inspection. If the vehicle is good, I am sure they will be a decent place to do business with.

  • Amber Jade

Complete waste of time, I emailed Andreas to set up a time to view a specific vehicle. Told him I was transiting from Maple Ridge to see it. Spent 3 hours on transit to find out it sold (even though he told me he'd hold it) Didn't even message me to say it sold to save me the time or trip. No remorse or apology. Don't bother looking here, apparently all the other 1 star reviews are correct.

  • Quinn Brown

Andreas and his team we're excellent to deal with. I purchased from out of province and flew in to pick up the car and Andreas handled everything I needed to get it on the road for the trip home. Fast and efficient. When we discovered an issue shortly after leaving the lot, Andreas was quick to correct the mechanical issue and get us back on the road. Definitely recommend.

  • Terry Dunn

I don't live in Vancouver so I bought a car over the phone. Premier sales staff told me about the vehicle condition so I had Instamek (mobile vehicle inspection) check the car over. Long short the vehicle was exactly as the sales staff said it was. I flew down and drove it home to the Okanagan and now enjoy it. Thanks Guys your Honesty and service was great. Terry Dunn

  • Nancy S

Not a good used car lot to deal with. Asked about a car that just came in and hadn't been cleaned or inspected yet on a Saturday. They Said they'd call us on the Monday, never heard from them then went on following Saturday snd there was a deposit on it. Never even gave us a chance and of course they passed the buck blaming another agent. Very unprofessional!!

  • D Wong-Kamachi

We just bought a pre-owned vehicle for our son from Premier Auto, and they impressed us with their honesty, integrity, great service, and fair prices. They also wowed me, the mom, because they went the extra mile to ensure the car was in tip top shape before releasing it to our son, who will be driving it across the United States. Thank you Premier Auto!

  • Michael C

BE CAREFUL. They lied about the car they were selling and told us there was nothing wrong with it even though the alignment felt a bit off during the test drive. 2 months later and now I'm stuck with a three thousand dollar bill to fix it. It seems like other people also experienced similar situations. I should have read the reviews here before going.

  • Rohan Sheth

Please Dont buy any car from this place, i bought a impala that was told to me as a gauranteed best car in their lot and on 14th day the motor blew up. They say once sold will not be taken back or we dont stand for it. Reimbursement for a motor which i got from them was 10% of total cost. Please take your money somewhere else if you value your money.

  • Jesse Gautier

Had a great experience with them! It was a pleasure dealing with Andreas; he gave me a great deal on the car and after a test drive, I noticed the brake pads were rubbing and he had the two that were rubbing replaced complimentary! Fantastic service, would recommend anyone looking at a used car to talk to these guys.

  • Daniel Smith

Ran out of gas on a test drive. The salesman said the fuel light is on but I just put 10 bucks. Complete lie. 10 bucks gets you more than 3km, unless my math is off lol. Now I am the guy blocking rush hour traffic and created a jam. (Put vehicle into park to restart and is now locked in park and cannot be moved over)

  • Mohammad Alemi

I just bought a used vehicle from Premier Auto Sales. The price of the car was quiet reasonable and even below the market price. The staff were honest and respectful. In all, I had a great experience at Premier Auto Sales and definitely recommend this auto dealership to those who are interested in buying a used car.

  • Andrew Butler

My wife and I were shopping for a used SUV under $10,000. They had a very good selection at very good prices. The Sales Guy was not pushy or sketchy at all, we felt completely at ease. He allowed us to test drive three different trucks. We didn't buy anything but we will be back.

  • Ian McKinnon

This review is long overdue - I bought a car from these guys a year ago and they were the best. They helped me make the right decision and worked with me to get the car independently checked and get some minor things fixed. I couldn't recommend them more.

  • Shameer P

Had a great experience with AJ - he helped my wife and I choose the right vehicle for the right price. Didn't try to upsell us on anything. If you're looking for an honest car salesman that actually cares about your needs - AJ is your guy!

  • THEODORE OKOS

I purchased a vehicle from them and dealt with Andreas. I found him to be knowledgeable and eager to please. I am very happy with the vehicle and surprised at the amount of repair history hat they had. I highly recommend Premier Auto …

Premier auto sales has been nothing but amazing. I highly recommend these guys. Their customer service is great and they stand behind their vehicles. Thank you Andreas for everything!

Purchased an 07 Ford Focus from them. Real easy going, quick service and ultimately I walked away super happy. Would recommend to anybody looking for a quality used vehicle

  • Dylan Laister

AJ is totally professional and a pleasure to do business with. He was fast helpful and honest. I had a great experience buying, picking up, and insuring a used car here.

  • D Schmidt

I needed a small used car for my kids, not too pricy but dependable. They helped me find the perfect option (Yaris) and I got a fair deal. Trustworthy and reasonable.

  • Raymond Dean

My experience with Premier Auto Sales & Leasing is always great. I have bought two cars from them and they take good care of me.
