The reason we've booked the hotel was due to an emergency water infiltration in our home. Check in was at 21:20. When we arrived to our room to finally rest there was a durty towel behind the bathroom door which during Covid-19 lockdown is very serious and could place me and my family at risk of contamination. I when to the reception area to inform the receptionist. The receptionist offered us another room. When we arrived on the new room the smell of smoke, possibly from a previous guess was unbearable. Again I've informed the receptionist and again we were offered to change rooms. We ended up falling a sleep at 23:30. This was the worst stay I've ever had in a hotel. Finally when used the toilet in the morning the toilet was blocked and I've seen previous customers feces coming upvtge toilet. Totally an horror movie. Hence this morning housekeeper was seen cleaning the rooms without mask which make me think that all rooms are possible contaminated anyway. According with thr premier in policy you are required to wear mask all time

we'll start with the positives, great burgers at adjacent pub, option to eat in your room. exactly what you need for a night's stay for an earlier flight, meaning you're 100% guaranteed to be there on time. staff were cool, rooms modern and comfortable. BP service complaints at all. we will now discuss negatives. this room was hot. when i say hot, i mean what i imagine showering in boiling oil in hell would be like. everyone you drank water it just converted to sweat. didn't need to urinate, just skin filtered water. in actual fact it was better to pour the water over you. now it was a summer day and they did provide a fan, but because you can't open the windows, this acts like a fan oven, meaning the room smells like a barbeque joint. no one slept, just basted all night. it was humid. we were travelling to Florida so this accustomed us to high heat and humidity... and barbeque. by the time you had taken a cool shower, you just started sweating again so it was an endless cycle of cold showers. guys, you needs a/c.

As a regular user of Premier Inns, this location was an odd one. The service was fine and the place was visibly well cleaned and kept tidy, but other things were less positive. We stayed in a room on the top floor, which certainly helps the reduce the effect of the significant noise from the pub below, but we were kept awake late into the night. The only power options at the bedside were USB-A sockets, one of which didn't work; this meant we had no way to charge our phones at the bedside which was inconvenient. The room had clearly suffered some water damage recently and the walls had some badly patched paint and visible water marks around the ceiling and skirting boards. More concerning was the patch of black mold on the ceiling in front of the window. The bed was also notably smaller than a standard Premier Inn bed, again this was inconvenient rather than problematic, but differs from other locations. We would seek availability at other nearby locations rather than this specific site in future.
Comfy beds, good nights sleep, clean. Great breakfast. Still no USB charging on the room which needs dealing with. !! Beefeater next door needs sorting. Who wants to listen to Rap music piped through the sound system from Capital Radio while your having your brekkie. Old, old dated tunes at 10000 decibels just ruin the ambiance. At least try local radio for news and traffic and the odd thing that resembles music but this a a serious issue and deters people from using the facility. Would be nice if the receptionists could see your stay history to save asking pointless questions or highlighting things that aren’t relevant. Would be even nicer if Oremier rewarded and incentivised semi frequent stayers like us to stay more often. Every time I book, it’s more expensive than the last and I have to adjust dates to match the last decent cost or deal. Come on Premier. Sort it out.

My experience with Premier Inns in general is a bit of a hit and miss. During my most recent stay it was really almost impossible to sleep at night due to the warm weather and no air conditioning. The temperature inside my room was around 29°C. I'm surprised why there is no air-conditioning when the windows can barely open no more than 3 inches. The WiFi had a mind of its own. All my devices kept disconnecting suffering from very poor internet speed. Maybe the paid WiFi will be better but in this day and age WiFi should be inclusive in the room price. Overall, in my opinion someone would stay at Premier Inn because of it's convenient location or if they need a stop for a night other than that I don't know why someone would want to stay at this hotel or maybe I'm generalising as I've always stayed at different branches for business maybe my opinion is biased I don't know you decide.

Room was spotless and staff friendly. However, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Was fine for a couple of nights as we were so knackered we passed out but by the third it was very difficult to sleep and if we'd been staying for longer we would have requested to move rooms. Also, the water pressure completely went in the hotel meaning we had to move rooms to shower on one of the mornings. Staff were very friendly and helpful with this though and it was fixed within a couple of hours. No air con in the rooms but it was just about fine with a fan. However, I would probably think twice before booking here again in the summer. Overall an average stay. Nothing completely disastrous but nothing outstanding either.

An ok Premier Inn but I wouldn't recommend staying here April - September due to lack of ventilation. The windows in the rooms only open 5cm and some ends of corridors have no windows which means the place is hot and stuffy even when it's not that warm outside. Stayed here the weekend after the heatwave. Temperature outside on day of arrival was max 18 as it was raining but the room was still unbearably hot and impossible to get a good sleep which was the only thing we needed. No, they don't have air conditioning but you shouldn't need that in the first place when it's only +18 outside. I won't be staying here again.

I had a great stay for 2 nights and I can say that I've had an exceptional experience. Good night sleep cozy clean and relaxing room with TV and WiFi, a very comfy snugly bed, amazing deals and offers, excellent room and customer service. Bar and restaurant all this at very reasonable and affordable, offering a variety of tasty meals and drinks, both hot and cold, fresh tropical and seasonal fruit and yummy deserts, excellent attention to detail needless to say, that neither the high quality nor the standards of services provided, had not ever been compromised at anytime by the cheap affordable prices and deals offered. So, thumbs up to all the Staff and Management... I will deffonatly go back. I can 100% confidently say that I highly recommend it
Fabulous location right near to Didsbury village and the lovely West Didsbury with its beautiful cafes and restaurants. We have stayed on three separate occasions so far and it's always been perfectly clean and tidy, we get a brilliant night's sleep in the beds which are super comfy and the staff are incredibly accommodating and really make you feel at home. We wanted to give a special mention to Aga, Chris, Drew and James who really go the extra mile and that makes all the difference - thank you so much!

An excellent hotel. For a small fee I was able to check in at 11am which made my day much easier. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable - very warm. (I couldn't turn the heating down from 21.5 though). The breakfast was delicious. A good choice of hot food which was cooked perfectly. A true bargain weekend.

Stayed here for a night whilst my partner was at the Spire. Very convenient and a good price. Room was spacious. Loved the hot shower. Check in was easy and felt safe in the new covid environment. Just some small points that brought my rating down. First, the wall along the window is damaged - very obvious and should be fixed before renting out to guests. Next, I hate bath/shower gel - would have preferred soap. A bottle of water would be nice in each room too. I didn't use the coffee/tea making facilities in the room - just seems a bit risky in a covid world. Finally, a top sheet for the bed would have been nice. The duvet is too thick but without it, I was too cold.
Came for check in late after midnight. Doors was closed and receptionist kept me outside doors, till he found my booking details. Also i was asked to show my driving license and receptionist wrote down all details from them and not explained for which reason. Visiting a lot hotels because of my work, never nobody not asked for identity card. Breakfast in restaurant was cold and not tasty. Stayed in this hotel before and everything was fine.

Had a slight issue checking in, which was from my company's end. The staff were helpful and even offered me a tea while waiting. Next door was a beefeater for breakfast and dinner. It was ok but the plates and bowls could of been cleaner. Lots of free parking at hotel which is so much better then going into Manchester hotels. My room was better than I thought it would be. Better than most holiday Inn hotels. It had a good bath also. Down side was no Aircon but it did have a fan. The fan needed to be cleaned to get air from it. Overall it wasn't cheap £125 but better than I thought.

Worst hotel ever… they provide the slowest internet ever and make you pay £5 for 24h of “premium internet” which still not good enough to even watch a film on laptop. If you need to do work from laptop, make yourself a favour and choose another hotel. There is no toilet brush in the toilet, there is no shampoo provided so you can’t wash your hair as a woman, no teeth brush cup or towel rail. Very disappointing…

Room was clean but decent only if you stay inside just to sleep overnight.
Didn't stay here a single night but despite this they let me out of the cold and helped me get home by giving me a taxi number and a place to direct it to whilst I waited in warmth. Staff were excellent and especially kind. Thank you both to staff and Premier Inn on shift after midnight Sunday 5th feb 23 and early morning Monday feb 6th 23. My thanks again and gratitude. Andy

Safety
They kept me safe and out of the freezing cold as I waited for my taxi. That was the key to my worries being quashed as I'm vulnerable and non visibly disabled.
I'm not reviewing a 5 star hotel I'm reviewing a Premier Inn, and this is the best hotel I've used in a long time. I booked a family room and actually got a bed and not a put me up bed cramped next to the double bed. The shower was the best hotel shower I have ever had powerful and really hot. The staff were really helpful, polite and friendly, especially the 2 on the night shift. The breakfast was excellent, and it was great value for money. Easy drive into the town centre. Will be stopping here again for definite.

Good location for hospital and the city itself via public transport. Brilliant staff. Mostly used as a one nighter by workers. Rooms very clean and modern but note that there is no air con but the best insulation ever! There are fans in the room but temp rarely gets below 26°. Opening windows on the car park side is iffy with the smokers just under having a puff and chatting past 1am. Bear in mind I am very light sleeper.

Staff were really lovely here and check in was easy and efficient. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. Downsides were that it was very hot and stuffy, also the pillows were too hard and we both had a pretty bad night's sleep from this. I'd assume that, if requested, we would be provided with flatter pillows however, we only stayed one night so never got round to this.

Rooms are clean and in good repair. Hotel was quiet. Disappointing breakfast. I use PI a lot and this was below the expected quality. They don't do butter, and a lower range of cereals than expected. I also noticed that several people struggled to reach the bread which was high on a shelf. Not accessible to many people with additional needs and needs sorting. Overall, a good experience let down by breakfast.

Nice hotel, had everything we expected for a Premier Inn. Fire doors within the hotel could be wheelchair friendly as otherwise it was a hazard as they are all manually operated. Our disabled friend found it difficulty in opening the doors but otherwise clean rooms and good friendly customer service from the lovely ladies on the front desk. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed there for two nights. I was given a Ground floor room with a "back-of-a-van view". Room stinked, self service, one staff member at Reception had an awful attitude! The two night stay was as expensive as staying in a 4-star hotel in normal days. I would only recommend it if your other option was to sleep in your car.

I would have given 4 starts but unfortunately during my stay the place always felt stuffy. Felt like the ventilation wasn't good enough to bring in air fresh. Would have got 5 if it had basic toiletries and room service Overall I was satisfied because it was close to my office but nothing special about this place. Felt more like a glorified Air BnB. Would i stay here again? Yes! Only if I was on a budge otherwise I wouldn't.
Stayed here for one evening in July. Big car park and good location for West Didsbury. There was a warning sign when we saw a standing fan in the room. I don't think I've ever slept in a more over-heated room in my life. Even with the fan on all through the night, the heat was unbearable, and the windows only opened a tiny bit. It felt like trying to sleep while fighting off a fever. So sadly, I would not stay here again.
Can't fault this Premier inn, room cosy,Staff great, especially JESSICA, and the young lad on at night 4got his name, but all staff helpful, great location 4 Christies Hosp, taxis reasonable, Beef Eater next door again all staff great, had a brilliant 2 night stay, will definitely stay again when in area,Thanks PREMIER INN.

Never actually been here but I guess it's good. It looks very good on all the pictures and it looks like it has lots of room so I would recommend it for all the family and it looks like a good place to stay if you're staying over someone if you meeting a friend sorry in a different area at the beds probably are comfy and the people who saved you are probably comfy comfy I'll be nice as well sorry
Rooms too hot - came with a fan, but if you open the window for cooler air, the traffic noise is loud. Needs Aircon (fixing?) Fixtures and fittings in the room, however, smart and new. Staff friendly and helpful.

Got a full refund because it was 28 degrees in the room and they had no air conditioning. Ruined the weekend as I got almost no sleep. It would have been nice if they'd made it very clear this was the case before I'd booked. The room was clean and quite nicely set out, bathroom was good and shower was powerful but you'll need to avoid the spring and summer months if you want to sleep!
Noisy through the night with kids and people banging doors. I'd had a stressful day so needed rest and couldn't sleep very well. Was then woken again at 4am with people banging doors. Breakfast was fine other than at 6.30am I didn't appreciate having music blasting out while I at. I won't come back any time soon.

Modern & Clean rooms. Nice flat screen TV. Continental bfast okay @nearby Beefeater restaurant. Things to consider: No fridge, NO A/C only fan., No Safe, Only 2 wall plugs in entire room. Luckily brought multiplug. No shaver outlet in bathroom, No phone, Limited supply of toiletries. Only way to Contact reception is by going there. Usually busy with other guests.
Good hotel, nice and quiet if your room is the car park side. Rooms clean and tidy. Nice and friendly staff, who help as much as possible. Very pleased with the service. Good hotel if staying for a course at Siemens as its about 5 mins away I will return soon!

Had a short stay here once in late 2021. Staff I met were friendly. Room was clean and tidy. I've stayed in a couple of Premier Inns around Manchester so far. Usually there wouldn't be housekeeping unless you made a request for it but not for this one, which was a positive. Don't know if it was less busy so that housekeeping was available during my stay.
Stayed in a few premier inns now, and they've all been really good. Comfy bed, warm duvet, surprisingly good breakfast and the staff were really helpful when we arrived early. Price varies wildly depending on when you're staying (at least it seemed that way to me - maybe we'd used a coupon or got a deal before), but my experience has been uniformly good
Very clean and comfortable room. Chris at the front desk was genuinely very helpful and went out of his way to help us with directions to a local restaurant. The hotel is attached to a beefeater and there is a great choice of restaurants and bars just 20 minutes walk away.

Good budget hotel, beefeater next door with alright chain pub food and beer. Creaking floorboards and slamming firedoors didn't make for a comfortable night's sleep. Also if your unlucky enough to be on the road side of the building its quite busy and noisy so no window open if it's hot. Friendly desk staff and clean and comfortable.
Room we slept in was clean and a decent big enough size. Breakfast was lovely but our struggle to sleep defeats all the good. It’s really hot and very hard to sleep at 27 degrees! Air con really needs to be installed as fan we had was utterly hopeless.

Lovely Premier Inn. Arrived mid evening to a warm friendly welcome. Asked about dining deal and was explained well. Asked for a jug of fresh milk that was happily provided from the bar. The room was spotlessly clean. Slept 11 hours! Will be back tonight after a long day cleaning and packing for our son to go travelling.
Beds are too high - you need a ladder to get on them - pillows uncomfortable, mattress uncomfortable - just because they tell you the beds are comfy does not make them so. Creaky floor boards in corridor outside very noisy at night. The staff were lovely but will look for alternatives to Premiere Inn in the future.
Poor service. We stayed for 2 weeks and bedding sheets changed just once after asking for couple of times. Room was hot but thermometer showing 24-25 degrees all the time even when temperature was 28 degree . At noon or night time!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who were great with my very young children. Super breakfast as always in Premier Inns. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Work was being done on improving while we stayed but you would never have known and didn't impact us at all. Very well managed.
We arrived after midnight as our flight didn't land until 23.20. The night staff were very helpful as we were travelling with 2 autistic children. We were a group of 7 people and the staff were swift at getting us to our room. Check out was noon, so we had plenty of time to catch up on sleep. More

Room was clean and tidy on arrival, bathroom immaculately clean and could not fault. Bed comfortable, only downside was that pillows were slightly firm and I didn't have the best of nights sleep due to noise in corridors, surrounding rooms and outside.
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable and there was no traffic noise. Only complaint is that the parking spaces are very narrow and passengers have to disembark before driving into a space. Even then you have to limbo out of the driver's door.

Clean, comfy stay. I stayed for 2 nights and it was nice. Typical Premier Inn but a little more cosy. Staff are very friendly. Main downside is that breakfast ends quite early. Otherwise fine and in a quiet retail park with free parking.
Friendly staff. English breakfast is good, continental is very basic. Big minus: rooms are waaaay too hot. You're supposed to sleep at 31°C? Window blocks prevent you from opening your window more than an inch, so no air. Impossible...

Hot stuffy and noisy from pub next door, and taxis coming and going. Food cold in restaurant. Arrived at 7pm having booked a family room and it wasn’t ready. Didn’t sleep at all before our early flight.

Bedrooms Similar in size to doubletree Hilton Piccadilly. Immaculately clean bathroom, it sparkled! Need to provide decaff beverages please. When seated you can't see in mirror - it's placed too high on the wall. Will stay again.
Breakfast cold at 6.45 so don't know how long that had been out. Plates cold as well. Service very slow in restaurant previous night. Did not seem to be heaving with customers.

Very nice and comfortable place. Was on a business trip and the location was perfect. Staff were warm and congenial. Room and facilities were just right meeting my requirements. Free WiFi. Breakfast spread was average, though
My brothers and I took our mum for a Sunday dinner, we had the ultimate roast which was very delicious but a bit too much to eat. The services was very good. We will be coming back.

Standard premier inn. Nice enough staff. Hotel isn’t warm, stayed when it was 28 degrees. Had a room in the shade tho. Family room had 3 beds, 2 single & one double

Convenient for visiting Siemens and reasonably comfy. Not well cleaned - long hairs left in bath were not mine, litter in lifts and public areas. No air conditioning and lots of traffic noise with the windows open.
Excellent service, staff very polite and efficient despite problems with covid isolation of some colleagues. Beefeater staff next door equally as good, amazing Premier Inn standard breakfast. Well done everyone x
Great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet
I did not stay at the Premier Inn as I live locally, but had a nice meal with friends in the adjoining restaurant. Have stayed at Premier Inn in Norwich and other locations in the past and they have been good.
Overall nice hotel, good parking, nice restaurant and friendly staff. Room is way too hot ro sleep. A little dirty in places....

Very clean. Staff very friendly. But, OMG, the rooms are so hot. Stayed there the 2nd time last night and it might have been 15c outside, but was 28c in the room... even with the window open and 2 fans on.
The staff were lovely & friendly. Comfortable room & very comfortable bed. Shame there was no air con as the room was very warm, but a fan was provided to cool the room. A lovely huge shower. A great room.
Our room was super shiny clean. Staff are friendly & polite. Breakfast was spot on. Only down side, the room is too warm, but there is a portable fan.

Great value
Nice atmosphere, plenty of good quality food on the menu, good selection of beer and adult drinks. Outdoor seating with smoking section. Can't complain about anything, considering the cheap price.
Lovely, clean hotel great value for money and the staff are very helpful, polite and friendly, they provide family rooms and all you can eat breakfast in the christie fields next door also …
Room was clean and spacious, and bed v comfortable. No sound from nearby busy roads. Only 4 stars owing to a faulty shower head, which we reported on departure. Staff are polite and helpful
Nice rooms but can be warm/hot as no air conditioning. Staff are very friendly and helpful and go the extra mile for customers.
