Absolute waste of money, rip off and the biggest headache: if you are looking for a new mechanic, stay away! In the process of selling my car, I took the car to Prestige Motors for rwc after looking at the high rating it had, which proved to be a big mistake. I was told there were multiple problems with the car and quoted $1780 to fix everything before they will issue rwc. So I lost $180 for them to quote me what was wrong with the car. I took it to another mechanic who passed the rwc without any hassle as expected. I understand that different mechanics might have slight difference in opinion, but this was just ridiculous. And their prices quoted on the invoice for some of the work were nearly 2-3 times the other mechanic’s. On top of that, in the process of Prestige Motors checking my car, they tightened one of the bolts on the wheel so tight that it damaged the thread of the bolt and cost me another hundred plus dollars to push the bolt out through the back of the wheel manually. I lost not only money but hours of my time, not to mention the stress because I made the mistake of attending this mechanic after looking at the high ratings, which I now doubt is genuine - note most of their reviewers have only made the one review.

Very disappointing. Bought a car here at a higher than average market price as I was told it had a new cylinder head and many other new parts (“everything new”). First problem was after 2000km I had it serviced and the paper air filter had actually disintegrated and fallen apart inside the air box, and the dust was finger deep. Then after another’000km the head gasket to blew and it turned out the head wasn’t new at all. Needed to buy and have fitted a brand new head, water pump and radiator etc. Turned out the differential oils hadn’t been changed like they said, so had that done too. They say buyer beware, but when a mechanic tells you they’ve fitted a new head when they haven’t, and it fails after a few ‘000km it leaves a bad taste. Nice guy, but very unimpressed.

Fastastic customer service - Melad and his team have helped me out numerous times from checking and topping up my oil, changing bulbs and advice about strange noises to major servicing, fitting brand new tires and panel beating to fix damage from a little fender bender....These guys do it with competitive prices and usually same day service, Why would you go anywhere else? Got my diff bushes replaced in my ford territory with nolathane bushes. 2 months later they gone soft... needs to be redone and can't get a hold of anyone as their number is disconnected and I drove to Brisbane for work.... awesome lads but this no number is very annoying.
