EDIT - Updated 4/1/2022 (original review is below) I appreciate that Jaz has taken responsibility for the stained trim and tried their best to fix it through polishing. The trim while not perfect, is noticeably improved from before. Jaz has also given us the option to have the trim further restored if unhappy with the current results. ------------ I rarely leave poor reviews but I feel like I need to warn potential car owners about this place. I've used this car wash several times as they are the closest me. I am a relatively unfussy person so if there are a few water marks or residue after a wash I am not going to make a fuss about it. However, the last time I visited this place in October, they damaged my car. Initially I thought it was just water marks and I let it go as I had my in-laws visiting and didn't have time to inspect the car all over. I just tried to wipe the marks off. Turns out the trims around the window were not water marks but instead chemical stains caused by carelessness. The fact that I paid them to damage my car is what really gets me. Normally after I leave the car with Prestige, they come and find me in the waiting room once the wash is done. I thought it very strange that no one came for an hour and a half so I went to find the car sitting parked on the side. Now it makes sense... turns out no one came to find me because no one wanted to tell me about the damage! I'm super disappointed that no one owned up to the damage and tried to fix it as opposed to hiding it. I can't recommend this place at all. They lack what all businesses need - integrity.

I was referred to this place by a referral source for a ceramic coating/paint protection for my Porsche Cayenne. The car was left in the workshop for 2 days. I got a call at the end of the 2nd day to pick it up. It was an average job, but the strange thing was the manager Jazz was diverting me to the side of the car then the back and just showing me some parts that couldn't be polished out e.g like old bird drops stains, paint cracks etc. Anyways it was late so i couldn't check thoroughly the whole car so i paid and went home. The next morning i went and do a thorough check and noticed the Porsche crest/logo on the bonnet was badly damaged and looks like someone pour acid over it (literally). I imagined that while polishing the car, the guy who polished it just went over the crest and polished the crest with the polish machine. I was speechless and furious for the fact that Jazz was trying to hide this and diverted my attention away and didn't let me know it was damaged. I called him and asked him about the damage and he was asking if i was sure that his shop did it, and i reassured him that it was his shop 100%. How can they be so unprofessional and instead of apologise and accept it was their mistake and tried to fix it, he was lying and tried to hide that it was his shop's fault. Please do not ever go here for a professional detailing job, you just don't know what damages they would do to your car.

Got a price to detail and a service to remove scratches but when I came to collect my car the scratches were still there so I thought to myself that there was going to be a problem with the charging and sure enough there was, the owner was adamant on changing the full price. Basically over delivering a service and under delivering. The whole point and reason for booking it in was to get the scratches out of which he was saying yes, yes, yes we can do this for you. There was quiet the situation in the office. They put so much product in and all over the car it has caused a problem with my electric system now so that’s another expense to pay as well as getting someone else more capable of removing the scratches. Charging for a service that was not complete and arguing in a very agitated manner is definitely my idea of professionalism and excellent customer service. Not happy or impressed. I was going to take my other car there however I wouldn’t trust them.

Dropped my car in last minute around midday and even though they were really busy, they still completed a full detail, cut&polish. First time ever I've had my car fully detailed, they did a really good job, steam cleaned stubborn stains and the car was ready soon after 5pm when I finished work. Didn't get the name of the person who served me but from the time I got there to drop off the car to picking it up, he was pleasant, professional, took care to show me the work completed and where they had placed items (in the boot) while they worked on it. I will be using their services again. They did a really good job, I almost didn't recognise my own car the way the polished exterior looked and the inside was immaculately finished. I went to their North Melbourne shop. Terrible service in disguise! Service: buffing and paint protection. I would never recommend anybody to go to Prestige Hand Carwash. They knew I am a student, and still ripped me off. I put my hard-earned money into my beloved possession. Their job was to buff the paint and apply ceramic coating/paint protection. The paint doesn't shine any better. Swirl marks everywhere and no smoothness on the surface! I went back to them after a week with this issue. They made me wait for two hours in their "cafe" and told me it has been reapplied and to wait for the coating to settle. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't seen a sign of the coating "settling". I know many others are being ripped off the same way. I hope they speak up like I did.

My family and I have been taking our cars (Mercedes CLA35, Suzuki Swift and Ford Ranger) to Prestige Hand Car Wash for over 12 months now. The high standard of service and attention to detail when undertaking an inside and outside clean, along with the dash, console and trim is exceptional. Since finding Prestige hand carwash in Port Melbourne, there is nowhere else I would take my car. The staff are friendly, attentive and only too happy to help - Parth in particular has exceptional customer service! I am now a regular and would go out of my way to visit them in Port Melbourne to ensure my car is looking its best. Thank you, for looking after each car and providing outstanding service.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile now and very happy I did. Super happy with the level of cleaning, my car looks great! The only small issues I have are I seemed to be charged for a bigger car ($29) than my small sedan ($22) based on the internet pricing and the actual process to follow was a bit awkward. Signage wasn't super great, and there seemed to be no real place to park for new cars to be washed. There was then no real reception area to speak to someone, check my car in etc. I know they were very busy when I attended so will try another time over the weekend, maybe the process will be smoother.

Took my wife’s Renault Megane GT Line in. Originally just for an outside clean. Then after seeing what they could do and offer, I decided to get a full detail as well as having my rims polished, to get rid of years of concrete gutter abuse. The end result of the entire vehicle was like a brand new car out of the showroom. Don’t be confused, like I was originally of the Duttons signage. Yes they do work for Duttons but these guys offer a good price service and are very easy to deal with. I have used 4 other companies in the area and these guys beat them hands down for price and service.

This car wash is by far the best one I’ve ever used in Melbourne. I dropped my jeep trackhawk in for full detailing clean due to the fact I was trying to sell my car. I was absolutely blown away with results. The interior seriously looked like had just purchased the brand new vehicle. And the exterior was just amazing. Being a back car it is hard to keep it looking clean and sharp but these guys absolutely nailed it. I’ll be taking my Audi in for the same clean this week. I can’t recommend this car wash high enough. Amazing work and I’m super happy

Had an amazing experience at Prestige hand car wash. Parth was great throughout the whole process from start to finish. I felt a bit awkward walking into a big workshop like that but Parth immediately greeted me and me me feel comfortable and welcome. The team at Prestige were so helpful and friendly when explaining the process of detailing and coating my car. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work, as they go above and beyond to give your car a 5-star treatment. Were able to fix big scratches on my wheels, and a dent in the front of the car perfectly, it looks brand new! Received a follow up message from the boss after pick-up, and was kept in the loop through the entire process. Will be recommending to all my friends and family :)

The team did a wonderful job - the car looks and feels new inside and out. I went with the express detail service as I was concerned that my leather seats being a little dry and the car needed a good clean inside and out. From the outside, the car was sparkling clean and even the wheels were cleaned so thoroughly! The leather seats were conditioned well which fully addressed my initial concern. The vaccuming picked up dirt and dust that I could never get out. Overall highly recommend!

The team here are absolutely amazing and super nice! They went over what they did and couldn't do (thanks to the tree at work dropping sap) but they did the best they could to get my Swift looking almost as good as Taylor! My garage door key was missing and they didn't stop until they found it.. accidentally sulked up by the vacuum so heads up ppl don't leave small items in the car!! Thanks again guys, will be back again for sure.. also cause I want the sap off my swift!

Parth the manager was responsive, quick, excellent communicator and arranged a pretty big job. Polished all 4 alloys, now brand new look! Cleaned up the holes for the ugly big plate base and replaced with a small clean one, arranged respray bonnet and the bumper. Done efficiently with constant updates on when the car was ready. A1 job, extremely happy, especially as this is a top end prestige 911. Would recommend to anybody with an average to a supercar!

I used this service as my car was overdue for it’s cleaning and now i thought of selling it. I went for the full detail service as it helps to sell the car quicker. The car wash looked really busy but thanks to the young bloke ‘Parth’ he got me a spot and made my car look like brand new in no time. Thanks to their service i did sold my car quicker than expected. Amazing business to deal with. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm. They did a full wash, vacuum, wax on my Mazda 3 SP25 GT and then were able to book my car in on Monday to remove some scratches from my front bumper and repair two of my rims for me. Quality of work was fantastic and Parth Katyal was excellent to deal with. I felt confident with their ability to meet my needs as the also do scratch removal for car dealers.

The top Car detail was very good and happy with it Except very disappointed that they tried to get extra money on top of the advertised price Because they claimed the carpets were more dirty (live near the beach sand) A vacuum is a vacuum After I said it was not on and went to leave they said they would do it as I was a first time customer But as I said they did a good job despite the car not being ready for the time promised

Was pretty happy with the end result of an Interior and exterior clean for $59. The only issue was the very long wait, but it was Friday arvo and the sun was out!. This kind of made the job a bit rushed so some areas missed, but will come back. The staff were all great and the business is doing very well…cheers to the team, especially the great guy who greeted me and apologised for the wait.

Paid a premium to get a customers suv done here, windows poorly done, engine bay was missed also not vacuumed that well under mats. Was very reluctant to go back there after what ever wash chemicals they used stained the paint on my personal vehicle. Constant lack of finishing from these guys. Best to look elsewhere for others who take some care with your vehicle.

I was served by Parth who was so helpful in choosing what I needed to have done to get my vehicle ready for sale. The price was so reasonable plus I had it by lunchtime they said might be overnight but it was all done to the highest standard by 5pm that day! Damaged my vehicle, cut and polished a plastic panel then used magic eraser when I went back. Told me it was now 'fixed'. I now have one wheel arch that looks terrible. 3 images (one image showing the non damaged panel that didn't receive the cut & polish. Plastic surfaces are not to be 'cut & polished' see other images for damaged aftermath of the wrongdoing)

I was selling my Mercedes E200 car and was getting offers of $50k. I took it to Parth Katyal at Prestige Hand Carwash, and he highly recommended I spend $350 for a highly detailed finish. I took him at his word, and four hours later, the car looked like brand new. I sold the car for $55,500 literally the next day. Well worth the investment!

I highly recommend Prestige Hand Car Wash Port Melbourne. I took in my work ute which was very dirty inside and out. Parth and the team did an amazing job cleaning it up. It hasn't looked this good in years. They even removed the old decal from the cabin, which improves the chance of selling it quicker. 10 out of 10, thanks guys.

First time here, went just for a basic outside wash as car wasn't that dirty. 10/10 for service - acknowledged straight away, thorough and friendly service. 9/10 for the job they did. Soft top had some marks missed and some solution was sprayed on the seat n not wiped off. Overall I am happy and will come back!

I initally didn't have a good experience here. There are plenty of full service car washes within a 6km radius and it is really surprising they didn't take pride in initally washing my car. They did apologise and they did do a much better job when i give them another chance.
