I don’t normally post reviews but this experience compelled me to do so. I’ve been shopping at prime for years, I love the sneakers. All my casual sneakers are from there. My partner bought me a pair of white chuck Taylor’s for Christmas as I needed to replace my old pair (also bought from prime) They were the wrong size, an honest mistake. I tried them on at home twice. I walked around the house on our wood floors and then put them back in the box. Too small, quite uncomfortable. No big deal. I went to exchange them and they had run out of my size. Fair enough, after Christmas. They told me they’d be getting new stock at the end of Jan/early feb. I waited. Came and went, no new stock. I went in, it had been postponed. This went on until yesterday when I went in and they had finally restocked the sizes. They said they’d call me when they came in but didn’t, no stress, things get busy. Went I went to exchange my pair, with the bag, receipt, box and everything intact. The very nice staff member inspected the shoes I brought back (fair enough) and noticed a small black scuff towards the heel. These are chuck Taylor’s, that could happen from simply taking them out of the box with dirty hands, or being tried on in the store. She called another lady over who accused me of wearing them. I insisted they hadn’t been worn other than tried on. She insisted they ‘wouldn’t have sold them like that’ and that they can’t resell them now and she wasn’t going to exchange them. She kept asking where the silver tag on the laces was. Apparently prime have a silver prime tag on the laces of their chuck Taylor’s. I even pointed out that the new pair didn’t have this either and she rolled her eyes. The soles were intact and she kept saying they were scuffed. They weren’t. She was so rude I was getting quite upset, insinuating that I had worn them and was bringing them back. If so, why would I exchange for a different size? I stood my ground as that mark could’ve come from anywhere and she eventually exchanged them saying “okay but just so you know, we will NEVER do this again” and pulled a disgusted face at me. That’s perfectly alright as I’ll never be shopping there again, even though I love the shoes. I left the store and burst into tears when I home. My partner was so angry he wanted to take the shoes back just on principle. I couldn’t be bothered as I’d waited three months and I didn’t want to wait any longer as all my other causals were falling apart. Such a shame to have had this experience.

The worst online buying experience I have had: Bought a pair of shoes and they sent me the wrong size. However, instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, the shop went radio silence despite multiple emails sent nicely asking how to resolve the issue. Others may have pleasant experience with the shop when things go right, but you should take note that when things go wrong - do not expect them to respond to you on the issue.

Placed an order for $816, 7 days ago and haven't received any update on the order since. Hasn't been shipped out and shows it's still unfulfilled. Logged on to the website and the order shows it hasn't been fulfilled yet. No chatbot on the website that I can see to nor can I see any "Contact Us" page. Will take down this review if I can get this order shipped out but till then it'll stay up.

We have been shopping at Prime for years, they have always had cool staff who have always been friendly, pollite and professional. Dont know if this is a reflection of its owner/s but well done! Went in today with my wife and toddler on Easter and we were welcomed instantly with smiles. We will continue to keep coming back thankyou for always having rad stuff!!!

I can't recommend Prime Athletic highly enough. Their customer service is outstanding and might only be matched by the quality of their expertly curated goods. They're my number one go to store for all my sneakers and streetwear needs and probably should be yours too. I would definitely love to see the Prime empire expand interstate (SA please).

Beware! Store does not offer refund when they couldn't exchange items for the right size. The sales person did not inform me of this when I purchased an item as a gift and they could not offer an exchange for the right size. This sort of return policy needs to let consumer know upfront! Very disappointing.

Exchange or Credit only apparently. Returned shoes after 3 weeks and seen them in the sale for half the price. Wasn’t allowed to swap them and can’t order a pair of Adidas trainers even though they stock the brand. No help whatsoever

I find it really hard to find the right jeans, the right shape, Fit, colour... I haven't found a pair of jeans I've been happy with for ages... But the sales assistant at prime was AMAZING! So helpful, she just got it.

Always enjoy shopping at Prime, great brands like Leftfield, Carhartt etc and always a bonus when you can score some gear at one of their 50% off sales. Great people working in the store, always friendly, never pushy

I love shopping at this store. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they always have an awesome range of the clothes and shoes. I walk out looking much cooler than when I walked in ;-)

Can't run a sneaker store professionally. Avoid and buy from Subtype Store, Highs and Lows, Above The Clouds, hell you're better off buying sneakers from Hype DC lol.
