I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, I had the cover since 2013 and in 2020 my car was hit by hail. And when I claimed they said I will be given R10 000 whereas the panel beater needed 32000. And they said I must pay that R32 000 then they will give me the R10 000 which I was covered for. That was unfair on my side bad service.
It's almost 3 years I've been with PMD, put a claim on 2023-11-07 but until now they kept saying same story the claim is still being validated.I'm stuck with a damaged car in my yard its a month now. This is a scam insurance I'll advice even my colleagues to cancel this insurance and look for better insurances.
Just joined and have received the most wonderful experience. I have been insured with previous insurer for many years. I was paying R1100 with 20k excess. I'm paying now R700 per month with R5800 excess with PMD. Looking forward to building a fruitful relationship with you guys.

In cases of emergency my call was dropped more than four times. No one wanted to or offered to call back. At one stage the consultant assisting with my case dropped of the call because she was knocking off, that's what I was told when I called back again. Service was bad
If I could go lower I would. Your call center agents have no etiquette. They will call you 100 times about the same thing and when you advise that you do not want a quote, they put the call down on you. Work on your customer service and good business practice.
