We started with Primrose almost 6 years ago with our eldest daughter and absolutely fell in love with the entire staff. The teachers were able to guide her as she developed both emotionally and intellectually. I love that they did not adhere to a cookie-cutter approach and were able to keep her challenged academically. She was reading well before her 3rd birthday and completed their kindergarten program a full year early. We were sad when we had to leave, but will be forever grateful for the academic and social foundation they provided her. Happily our Primrose journey does not end there. We were blessed with another princess. When it was her turn to enter preschool, we opted for a place closer to home as we wanted to avoid the 30 minute drive. That decision was by far one of the worst ones I have made as a parent. We didn't make it two weeks before I was on the phone with Ms. Thurman explaining the situation. She went above and beyond and welcomed us back with open arms. Though it had been almost 3years since we had been at Primrose, the minute we walked in the door, I knew we were home! Words cannot explain the sense of peace I feel entrusting this amazing school with my children. Though we live too far for our eldest to attend their after school program, any day she is off school, she eagerly looks forward to returning to Primrose if only for a day! We are forever indebted to the amazing family that is Primrose. No place is perfect, but any issues that have arisen have been dealt with promptly and effectively. I love that it is not uncommon to see the owners in the front office talking to parents, or even in the classrooms interacting with the children. Children are young for such a short time and I am glad the folks at Primrose recognize that and are committed to filling their little lives with so many happy memories.

As a Primrose employee, as well as a Primrose mom, I can rave about what we have to offer! When I got hired, almost six years ago, I only had plans to work that summer as the Explorers (summer camp kiddos) teacher. Then the opportunity arose to teach Pre-K and it has been smooth sailing ever since! It’s hard to think about ever leaving because we are like a big family —parents, students and staff! I have a heart for early education and I love the Primrose vision. “We believe who children become is as important as what they know.” Learning is taking place in each classroom, starting with the infants. I can recall one of my students’ parents telling me that as her husband was driving home after picking up his child (my student at the time), he heard her say from the backseat, “Those are cumulonimbus clouds!” She learned that from the classroom! Not only are they being taught the basic school subjects, but also character development traits like honesty, respect, and courage. Our students are well-rounded when they graduate from our program. My 10 y/o daughter now comes as an Explorer, so Primrose picks her up from school and brings her over to participate in our after-school program. She also comes during school breaks and enjoys the field trips and other planned activities. All in all, we’re a school with a big personality —a warm, friendly, fun bunch of ladies (plus an amazing cook and dedicated owners!) who are passionate about the learning and well-being of the children in our care.

Primrose was a second family to us and our sweet boys. Finding a place that can provide safety, creativity, fun, learning and so many more things is difficult, and I felt truly grateful for the admin staff, teachers and friends we made during our 3.5 years here. The curriculum was great and it was fun to hear about all of the things my kids were learning every day. I also really appreciated the updates through the app so that we could follow along with some of the larger curriculum at home. When covid-19 sparked, Primrose was able to adapt quickly and remained open the entire time with minimal cases. There was so much unknown but it was such a relief knowing they were taking extra precautions in keeping the students safe and healthy while informing the parents every step of the way. I also appreciated how responsive they were to any concerns I expressed relating to Covid and anything else that popped up. Our boys just started Kindergarten but still ask to go back and visit all of their favorite teachers and staff.

Both of my children have been with Primrose since the Infant classroom and now both attend the Explorers program. The Balanced Learning Curriculum provided an exceptional foundation for each of our children. The math, phonics, science, foreign language, physical education, and music programs gave each of them a well rounded education. The learning rotations had them well prepared for what to expect in elementary school. The professionalism of the staff and management was not only supportive but also nurturing to my children. The Explorers After school Program is top notch! It not only offers an atmosphere for my children to be creative but still guides them with a learning curriculum. The field trips, cooking activities, art, science projects always brings them home talking about how much fun they had at Primrose!!

We had heard great things from others regarding Primrose, but now we have experienced it ourselves and we can certainly recommend it to others. Our almost 2 yr old son started there this Fall and we have been nothing but impressed by the personal nature of the entire staff, the education level he is receiving, and the comfort in knowing he is in a great place with people who genuinely love these children and pour into them. Our son has blown us away when he comes home and displays all he has been learning. The personal nature he gets here truly makes it feel like a family. We love our Primrose family and are blessed to have a wonderful place for our son to grow and develop. We are thankful for Primrose School of Columbus Trail and would encourage others to strongly consider enrolling their children.

Our family LOVES Primrose School of Columbus Trail. Communication with parents is great and the school hosts many events to engage parents in school activities (i.e. Celebration of Cultures Parade, 4th of July Parade, Trunk or Treat for Halloween, and many more). Our little one considers her teachers part of our family and we feel the same. We highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and loving environment that focuses on an enriching curriculum that gets children excited about learning. The only thing we would change is the playground. Wood chips/mulch constantly gets into our little ones shoes/socks and they hurt! I know because I've accidently stepped on one after taking off our child's shoes.

The people here are warm and accommodating. I had a week between moving from the NJ to Fort Worth and these ladies made the child care part the easiest thing I had to do. It took us a bit of time in the following months to get the rhythm down but during that time I never felt that my child was not cared for. Jana and Rochelle are patient and easy to talk to about your concerns. Rochelle was a huge help in recommending age appropriate booklists. All in all the everyone here was a huge help in dealing with the culture shock that comes with moving from the east coast! Thank you!

Primrose is the absolute best. My daughter stayed home for the better part of a year due to COVID and the difference when she went back was ASTRONOMICAL. Her development increased dramatically with socialization and the educational pathway at Primrose. In terms of health and safety, Primrose is a well oiled machine and I feel so safe sending my child there, even as COVID rages on. As an educator who teaches students much older than the children at Primrose, I wish all my students had such a loving and nurturing foundation. I recommend them to everyone in the area.

I had my son at a different daycare that I thought was the best, being a first time mom I really didn't know what to look for! After being in tears for two weeks my husband pulled him out mid week and toured Primrose Columbus Trail the same day. It was night and day different, no swings to put them in all day just a constant rotation with plenty of one on one! I just really feel like they care and i'm never worried for a second about him being mistreated in any way, all my mommy instincts are totally relaxed here! I highly recommend this school!

If you’re looking for a place that’s like a family where the teachers love your kiddos the way you do, where the teachers are enriched with the tools needed to teach the students, where they are prepared and learn so much, where from the admin to the teachers everyone knows you by name, they care for you and communicate well, then this is the place for you! My son went at 10 weeks through Pre-K. He was completely ready for Kindergarten. My daughter has been there since 10 months and is now about to be 2. We love the Primrose family!

We could not be more thankful for Primrose and all of the teachers and staff! Our son ADORES going to school everyday! He runs into his classroom with the biggest smile and has made such great relationships there and he’s not even a year and a half yet. He’s greated by name every morning and is genuinely cared for. The things he has learned in just under a year of attending Primrose continues to blow us away. We are excited for the years we’ll spend at Primrose and it will be our choice in the future, no questions asked.

My son loved this school from the first day! It is a great, clean atmosphere and the staff are wonderful and always friendly. I have peace of mind that my child is safe and being cared for in the best way. I would recommend this school to other parents. The hours are also great since they are open from 6:30AM to 6:30PM for those days when one needs to work a little later or get somewhere early. Another thing I like about it, is that the Kindergarten program is accredited by the state of Texas. Communication is great!

I love this school, I always feel welcomed and everybody feels like a family. The school is always very clean and extremely organized and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who asks me about a safe environment for their kids. The kids at this school are always eager to attend every day because not only do they learn so much, but they have so much fun and feel so much love from their friends and loving teachers.

I cannot say enough good things about Primrose of Columbus Trail. The staff is wonderful, and so are the kids. It is such a relief to know that your child is getting the best care while you are at work. I, also, like how they have an educational curriculum, even for the infants and young toddlers. My son has learned so much already while attending Primrose, and always has a great time, as well.

As a first-time mom starting my infant in daycare, I felt nervous about putting my baby in daycare. However, everyone at Primrose School of Columbus Trail has been kind, thoughtful, and caring. I could not imagine my baby in better hands. Special thanks to Ms. Adria, Ms. Sylvia, and Ms. Angie for making sure my little one is taken care of in the infant program. Would highly recommend.

  • Amanda Harris

I highly recommend Primrose of Columbus Trail to any family looking for education-based childcare. The staff cares about the wholistic development of each child. Everyday is filled with learning, socialization and emotional development activities, even at infant stages. The school is clean and well run. Most days our children want to stay longer...what more could a parent ask for?!

  • Denise Garcia

The staff and teachers have done an excellent job with caring for our son. Everyone has been so attentive and great. Our son is always happy to see his teachers and we are thankful for all the knowledge he has gained. We can’t wait to see his growth throughout the remaining years.

Good School with a loving staff. My child was born a few days after what the state considers the public school cut off. The accredited school of Primrose had no issue with this and agreed my child was eligible for learning with other children at a similar academic level.

Primrose is a great school! Since being here , both my 3 year old and 1 year old has learned so much! The staff is friendly! I love their healthy menu choices and maintenance in rooms. A very safe and clean environment that I trust my boys to attend!

I moved here from Michigan and was nervous about finding my son a school. The staff at Primrose were so kind and welcoming to my preschooler and he loves Ms. White so much! We also love the frequent themed days throughout each month.

My little one loves the staff! She started at 6 weeks old & is now in young toddlers. They make being away from her all day a little easier! The crafts & pictures I get daily are the cutest!
