I'm so happy I came here for my new ball (and my wife's first) - Carl and Rusty are two stand-up guys and really strive to make sure you are getting the best service. A little backstory: I got my first ball about 18 years ago from a great pro shop in Ventura (where I grew up) but that place has been closed down for many years now. My ball was perfectly drilled and I averaged in the upper hundreds, then a few years later I moved to LA ... that ball got stolen from my car literally within 72 hours of moving here (I blame it on Hollywood). It took a while for me to save up and get a new ball, but I did and the pro-shop where I got that one drilled did not really care much to give me the perfect fit. Flash foward to this year - I'm finally to the point where I'm fed up with my current ball, so I took it to Carl and Rusty. They concurred that the thumb hole was too big, the fingers were too far from the thumb, and it wasn't even the right type of ball for the heavy oil lanes where i frequent. Taking that into consideration, I just decided I wanted to get a new ball and since my wife has been bowling with me every week, we decided to get her her first ball as well. They took great care of us and even fine tuned our balls during our first game using them. I highly suggest taking your current ball or getting new gear from Rusty and Carl at Pro Zone.

I went in here yesterday and I was immediately acknowledged by the owner Rusty and as soon as he was done with the customer in front of me, I explained what I needed and he provided me with great service. I was able to get a ball(with my name engraved free), shoes, and a bag. He took the time to make sure that the holes were right and even explained the correct way to use the ball. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I will be going back soon for the free game that he said I could have.

Went to Pro Zone to get a couple of new balls drilled. Carl runs a great shop within a corner of the Winnetka Bowl. Inside are a good selection of balls at a variety of price points and representing different performance levels. The shop was humming with business for good reason: Carl is a pro and meticulous...he is patient with new customers and clearly loves what he does. Service and turnaround is remarkably fast given the business he normally receives. Prices are quite fair.

Best Professional pro bowling shop you can find and all of the San Fernando valley. rusty and Carl are one of the best pro shop business people around very knowledgeable on balls. they even help you with your game Extremely knowledgeable about the game of bowling. They are excellent in finding the type of bowler you are and how to drill it specifically to your specifications. Prices are very reasonable. Depending on your skill level they will find the perfect for for you.

Rusty and Karl were such a pleasure to meet and work with. Rusty gave us his full attention and helped explain everything we needed to know about having our first bowling balls drilled. Karl did such a beautiful job and had no problem walking us through the process and explaining everything he was doing. What a great team. If your a pro or a beginner this is the pro shop to visit.
