An offer was accepted and, due to the requirement for vacant possession, a long settlement was agreed upon. During this wait Hayley went to the trouble of liaising with my property manager to ensure the property was in top condition and ready for immediate use by the buyer. It's an interesting world out there with interesting real estate people and equally interesting property managers. I thought i'd share my experience to help others finding rental life a rough ride, which i did NOT with the Professionals Salisbury (my post Professionals experiences have been mixed). I rented in 2020 and recently vacated a rental property in the northern suburbs and i've, ok, enjoyed my time renting through Professionals Salisbury. Is that a thing? Only because renting isn't supposed to be pleasant, is it? Well...from day one when i inspected the place through to my vacate, i dealt with Tanya from the Salisbury office and the experience has been nothing but positive. Tanya was consistently professional, respectful, and treated me as a person/tenant that matters, not a number, or just another tenant on a list of to-dos. Any minor issues i had were attended to promptly. Inspections were prompt and on time. Lease renewals communicated in a timely and clear fashion. Can't recommend Tanya enough for making the 3 years a breeze. Thank you!

Knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and very willing to assist! I dealt with Meg to virtually purchase a property and can I just say how easy she made the whole process? I spoke to Meg about a property that I was interested in and she organised a virtual tour for me on the same day. She took her time showing me every element of the property – those that were good and some requiring a bit of work. She didn’t need to show me the elements that required work but she was so honest and thorough with the tour that I felt very comfortable with what I had seen virtually and purchased the property based on one showing. Have been renting through these guys for the past 5 years. They are all for the landlord and not the tenant. House we have been renting is literally falling apart and has come to the point it's too embarrassing to invite friends and family and also unsafe for kids. Had the fence falling down and in pieces for almost 2 years before they eventually fixed it although we had to dig the trench. Toilets have been leaking for 4 years and nothing done to this point. Kitchen floor is in pieces and major tripping hazard, just told to stick it down with tape. No heating for past 2 years, have been told landlord would just supply us with 2 bar heaters. Still haven't turned up. Had shade when we moved in but due to it being unsafe had to take it down. Dogs no longer have any shade anywhere out back. Asked due to the lack of maintenance and rental no longer an acceptable standard, if we could have a reduction in rent buy was refused. List goes on but I don't have all day. RENTERS BEWARE, DON'T RENT THROUGH LJHOOKER SALISBURY.

My family member had been renting for 3 years with this company and treated the place like it was there own. After one accident to a bench top, they held the bond as ransom for over 3 months after they left the property. The way that they were treated was extremely disappointing. They received little communication as quotes for repair were being done and they were offered one chance to quote on the repair (which came in under half of the price of their quote) this was never considered by them. After talking to the manager, it was clear that this branch couldn't care less about their lessee. They did not once apologise for any of the delay or miss treatment. They didn't even attempt to find a resolution that met both parties needs. Do not be fooled by their initial pleasantries, if you do as little as ONE accident, they will ensure you will pay and prove that they do not care. They are only in it for their Lessor's and also don't care about wasting their money on overpriced quotes.

We have recently sold our family home through Meg Meadows. We have been consulting with Meg over the last few years with a view to selling our property when the time was right. If every business rang you up when you have not asked them to you would be on the phone for ever. I told her I was not happy and she kept on saying no worries .
