After having used a number of property managers for our rental property in Silverdale our portfolio landed with Property Central Penrith. Our long term tenants left and we had numerous offers from perspective tenants. The property manager recommended a tenant who had been evicted from another property nearby. Rent was always on time, requests were kept to a minimum. As a landlord we thought we were onto a good thing, until we decided to move back into the property. We found the property, particularly the yards had been destroyed. At no time did the property managers notify us that there were issues. Now we have a massive task of resurrecting the yards. The amount of hidden and discarded rubbish was not discussed in the handover. Extremely poor service. If all that you worry about is rent on time this ok. But if you want your property maintained I recommend you find a property manager that works for you, not the tenant. With a poor review landing on this page the Director, Lee Waterhouse, contacted the author and initiated a hostile conversation attempting to distance his business from any mismanagement. Whilst the property was managed the relationship between landlords and property manager were good. Once we were not contributing to their business they become hostile and argumentative. There is a growing trend with how the Director of property Central Penrith works. Instead of taking reasonable criticism and improving his business he attempts to manipulate the data and information and calls people liars. He also adjust facts to suit his own agenda. If there were problems with our property which were properly explained to us would any landlord in their right mind just accept it, especially when they were moving back into the property? I think not! Yet, Mr Waterhouse tries to suggest in his reply this is the case. Instead of taking responsibility for his staff's poor performance he tries to blame the landlord. If the property was going to be re-tenanted would tge property manager have allowed property to be handed over to new tenants in the state it was returned to us? I think not. Only because the property was no longer being managed by property Central they no longer had an interest. After paying tens of thousands of dollars to property Central Penrith they returned our home to us in a poor state. Mr Waterhouse claims he sent 29 photos to us of the yards, wrong. When discussing the hidden and discarded rubbish Mr Waterhouse never commented that the rubbish had ever been discovered during there inspections. Take responsibility for your errors Instead of playing corporate games. Improve your performance and work for the people who paid you to manage their property. To make matters worse Mr Waterhouse claims to have all his information correct, he claimed we had our property managed for ten years. Also wrong it was nine years almost to the day. During our discussion Mr Waterhouse tried to say the property was left in better state than when it was tennanted. The house was and has again become our home (with much work to get it back to the state it should be). Please be careful when dealing with Property Central Penrith.

Our property was a townhouse, recently renovated inside and the best in the complex but the complex itself was in very poor condition, having been neglected by the body corporate for years (which is why we were selling). Cameron Faico listed it for $475,000. We soon got an offer of $450,000 but turned it down, hoping to get say, $460,000 or $15,000 less than we were asking and we'd have been happy with that. Just three or four weeks later, he told us we should drop the price to around $435,000. Although he never said it, it seems he'd grossly overestimated the value either because he had no idea, or to get us to sign with him. Not sure which. He showed many more people through, held several opens, and even an auction so we're not saying he did no work but months later, the only offer forthcoming was $420,000. That's $30,000 less than the offer we turned down and $55,000 less than he originally listed it for. It's obvious that everyone could see the state of the complex but then, so could Cameron so why list if for $475,000? The dishwasher was not included in the sale but he must've thought it was and when the buyer asked him, he said it was. The deal was done and we cleaned the place out, taking the dishwasher. When the new owners moved in, they demanded to know where the dishwasher was. After emails were exchanged between our solicitor and theirs, they read the contract and found it was not included. They called Cameron saying he'd told them it was included and they wanted it. Cameron probably told them he was mistaken and they should've read the contract properly but when they told him he'd given them wrong information and they expected him to make good on it, rather than pay for a new one himself, he called us and asked if we'd give them our dishwasher for free. In other words, he asked us to pay for his mistake which we had nothing to do with and don't forget that he works for us, not them. This insult was after we'd knocked back an offer $30,000 better due to him grossly overestimating the value of the property to begin with. We fully accept that any property is only worth whatever someone is willing to pay but if a more realistic price was set at the start, we probably would've only got what we did but several months sooner, saving us several mortgage payments and a strata payment. Not sure if everyone at Property Central treats their clients like this but we will never use them again.

My complaint is about Taylah Wilson, yesterday I was walking on high street to another appointment near by, stopping out the front of Property Central and saying hi to Cameron Faico, who is always so lovely, all was fine until Taylah encouraged her friend to verbally attack me, and create quiet a drama, I think it’s unprofessional for you Taylah to do these things out the front of your place of work and also being in uniform, you need to realise that outside drama shouldn’t be bought into work and demanding a friend to hurl abuse at me is not ok, especially meters from your work place door! I sold my apartment a few years ago with Property Central, now because of this and how unprofessional you are Taylah I’ll never support this company again, Thanks. Part 2 Your response to my review just clearly depicts how unprofessional your company is. This just shows how you and your company cannot articulate yourselves professionally. You have decided to not only attack my appearance but to twist events that took place and lie in order to redeem your employees reputation. Not to mention that you personally attended my business address begging me to take down my review and had employees message my personal Instagram account asking the same and when I ignored, you decided as a company to personally attack and defame me. You are now continuing to lie and rebuild your reputation by “engaging a lawyer” who cannot even do anything for this alleged intimidation as they are not the police and do not have authority to charge anyone, so now I’m feeling embarrassed for you. I will await NSW police to contact me as alleged and follow the same in making a report against your company and employees for harassment and then intimidation from the dad of your employee. As previously mentioned please do not go through this company they clearly lack professional etiquette and would not trust this company with my home life situation.

Professional, Personal and Passionate Real Estate People We had organised meetings with two local real estates to sell our home. From our first interaction with Paul and Sharon, we felt good about inviting them into our home and asking them to help us sell it. We loved our home. They could see that. They did their research big time. What they presented to us was very thorough. We asked them the tough questions. They didn’t give any false or misleading answers. The advertisements on internet platforms and social media was so good. All of this combined to help us sell our home in six days and at a price above what we hoped to get. We have been with Property Central (PC) Penrith since 2014 until we recently sold our investment property in August 2023. The length of time we have partnered with PC is an indication itself on how pleased and satisfied we are with the support and service they provided. From day 1, the whole PC team were professional, supportive, responsive and respectful. Always professional in their dealings with us, all queries were replied to promptly. Never condescending, always respectful. They knew their business and we do not have to give them a reminder because they knew what they are doing. Property Central tried to sell our rental 4 bedroom house in April 2022. We received an offer that was low and the agent tried to persuade us to accept it, telling us that the market had slowed, which it did and that the market will probably not pick up for some 5 years so we should accept the offer. I'm not sure how someone can make such a prediction, in any case, the agent said that if we don't accept the offer, then we might as well take the property off the market, which we did, only after being on the market less than 30 days; there was never any suggestion to see through the 3 month contract, to perhaps see if any other potential buyer comes along. Does that tell you how good Property Central is and where their interest lies? Seriously, if you are considering selling, use a local agent, don't go to Property Central and always remember, an agent's interest is in the commission not you as the client! And that is with any agent. We have bought and sold several properties over the years and I think I can make these assertions with experience.

I have nothing but positive words to say about Narelle who managed my investment property for a number of years. She worked incredibly hard regularly going above & beyond not only for myself, but also for my tenants, by working hard on following with clear & consistent communication with myself, tenants, strata & repairmen. She regularly followed up & chased up on any repairs that required strata intervention & ensured the job was done correctly & to high standard with often carrying an post work inspections & following up with repairmen/trades on jobs that were not completed to a high standard. She also kept me in the loop with consistent & concise communication regarding repairs I needed to undertake & worked on keeping myself honest so as to ensure that any of the tenants concerns were addressed. I was extremely lucky to have Narelle take on my property into her management portfolio & know the tenants I had were delighted with her efforts. AMAZING! Seller of Caddens Trent and his team are without a doubt perfection. From our first initial contact with Trent he provided us with a detailed analysis of the market, personal details of his life and local knowledge where we were genuinely impressed and it didn't feel like just another sale. We were kept up to date with open home feedback, communication from the office was outstanding and most importantly Trent delivered us with great marketing via social marketing and other aspects. I would give them a 0 if I was able. Tenants for almost 7 years. Conducted a lot of property maintenance at our own costs during this time. On leaving they made us pay for repairs for things that were literally documented on the condition report. Not to mention the property was absolutely disgusting when we moved in and we had to pay to have cleaned up ourselves. Despite trying to discuss with this them they completely ignored and disregarded us. And then to top it off when it came time to receiving our bond refund - they didn’t submit out bank details and when I tried to chase it up a month down the track, was told I had to sort it out myself with Fair Trading. The absolute worst real estate I have ever dealt with and would not recommend to anyone nor will I ever return.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Peter Betros. Selling a 3 yr old property that we discovered during cooling off period after a building and pest inspection that had significant work required, not compliant with standards, privately certified. Verbal promise to return 0.25% deposit. Of course, in his eyes, these were not major issues. When we've rescinded the contract, he's not followed through. 5/5 review would be for someone with integrity.

Pretty terrible service all around. Property left in a disappointing state once the last tenants left and things from thr 1st Tennant weren't even addressed before signing a new lease. Things painted by their 'handy man' which colours don't even match, marks and gashes on inside walls not being tended to. Highly recomend not using them .

Janina was absolutely amazing to work with ! She was always helpful with any concerns I had or even if I just needed a simple question answered, she was always there to lend a hand . As a tenant it is hard to find an agent that also appreciates & takes the time for their tenants & Janina 100% did this she went above and beyond always !
