Have a clear cut issue with Con Ed billing me (WAY overbilling) to the wrong meter for months - verified by Con Ed's own technician 5 months ago - no action taken, Con Ed ignores the PSC and will not respond to letters, emails, phone calls or voicemails from me - even though I supposedly have a Con Ed caseworker. All the PSC will say it is "under investigation" - like I know they're going to do when I call right after I post this review - Powerless or willfully unhelpful agency. I say this only after calls week after week.

Was very helpful several times. Helped me with Xfinity and the cable companies monopoly in this country and helped with the price gouging they hit me with. They also helped with NYSEG. After the tornados hit I had everything set to go. NYSEG tried to charge me for the month I was without electricity and was the only house on the street without. NYSEG wouldn’t come out and flip the switch on the breaker from the lines. One phone call later they were there within an hour.

We had issues with our Verizon Fax line. I called Public service commission number and got connected to Nick who was very rude and unhelpful. Our practice lost tons of business because of the fax line being down for couple weeks and frankly I would hope to receive help in the matter when I call. Instead I was met with rudeness and discrimination.

PSC is really Public service corruption. They are hand in glove with Con Edison and other service providers and I think they get bribed by the utilities companies so PSC favors them. Totally unhelpful and corrupt. Someone should take action against them and fire the department.

I was treated poorly trying to report Con Edison’s false reporting as they automatically close tickets and force customers to reopen up more tickets to better comply with state regulations during the 8/4/2020 electrical outage. We still don’t have power on 8/10/2020.

The best agency you could ever look to for handling complaints. Especially related to gas safety. There is zero red tape. Same day response of a field engineer to location and direct coordination with the gas utility to remediate leaks and other hazards.

Useless lazy unionized bureaucrats that do nothing. They've never even once acted on any complaint I've ever filed.
