Went in to see the unit I reserved and to get the keys and met with Tina, who according to her own report, isn't a regular there, which is good. She was rude, did not provide correct information and when I asked her if she had a problem because I felt put off by her demeanor, she asked her co-worker Carol to take over. And I'm glad Carol did. Carol was very helpful and kind, and gave me the information I needed about the place. When Tina first took me to look at my unit it had no working lights (lightbulb out) and I was told I had to leave the unit cleaned despite the fact the floor was full of leaves and dirt when she showed me the unit. I asked if they had a broom, she told me no, they did not. I explained it was dirty and she said they can't help leaves flying in. So I am being told to clean a place that she gave me dirty? I asked her if they could fix the light and she said she would have to put a work order in for it and couldn't provide a time when it would be complete. I didn't want to have to replace a bulb for a unit I paid to get in order and needed the light to see when storing my things. So when Carol stepped in to take over, not only did she get the broom they DID have at the site, she went in and swept the unit clean AND she replaced the light bulb herself! That is service and if not for her I would not have continued with my check in. If Carol was not there to take over that transaction I would have left. Thank you Carol. You made the sale and experience satisfactory.

I am writing a positive review ONLY for the people who work at this facility who are very nice and helpful! Ivette spent time talking to me yesterday about my concern about the high rate I am paying on my unit. She was both very nice and helpful! I talked with Carol today who was also very nice! I have been a ‘a good tenant’ renting my unit for 15 years and I never missed a payment. However I am paying double what someone new coming in would be paying on my unit. I don’t feel that is fair and a sad way to treat good longterm tenants. She did request a rent reduction for me and this is so not her fault. However the reduction was not that much. But she did explain another option to me so I really wanted to acknowledge that the people who work there are very nice and helpful to their clientele.

Jo & Ginger were the best! Their combined knowledge, enthusiasm and caring nature made a very stressful time for me more bearable. The extraordinary amount of patience they exhibited in my unique case speaks volume of the training and level of customer service from which this company demands of it's personnel (which is without a doubt above reproach). I have had several years of customer service and professional training & have taught others how to interact with the public to provide the utmost positive experience for the consumer as possible and I must say that these two are sterling examples of professionalism & the embodiment of customer service. Document and pattern all training sessions based on the expertise & compassion of these two individuals.

If you are in need of a storage please look into Public storage!! I started my reservation at the WT Harris location with Jesse the store manager who was awesome and very helpful but once I got to the location, I needed a bigger unit and Jesse referred me to their next location on Sharon Amity. Not only did he refer me he called and set everything up while I was there. Ms.Carol at the Sharon Amity location was very helpful with getting the new unit setup over the phone with Jesse and once I arrived at her location. I had a problem with my unit space. Ms. Carol took care of the problem with such great customer service. I will like to thank them both for the seamless process for me

I would give Marriam a 5 star due to how she handled me and the other customers concerns. But y’all would believe how comfortable she made me feel leaving my thing at her facility. My situation was handled in a professional way. Marriam was very understanding and she went out her way to help me. From reserving a unit was the easy part. Once I got to the location I couldn’t get through the gate. My code wasn’t recognizable. Then once I got to my unit that was assigned to me, the lock wasn’t in the unit. So Marriam not only helped me with one issue but two issues all was handled in a timely mannered between customers.

I recently vacated my unit at this location and wanted to take a moment to praise the staff at this location for their willingness to work with me on clearing a balance. We removed our items on July 17th but were not able to remove our lock until after hours on Friday, July 31st. Upon our arrival the gates were closed and we were unable to remove our lock which technically made us responsible for a August payment. Fortunately, Matt, the regional manager worked with us and granted an exception to clear our balance. I highly recommend this location for all of your storage and move related needs.

My experience at Public Storage was amazing I had the tour I was given detailed instructions as to how to use the key I was able to walk around in the unit and I wasn't necessarily pleased with the first one but it was okay and I was shown another one that was the same size it even look better and smelt beautiful. It would be my recommendation to anyone that is looking for a place to rent public storage in Charlotte North Carolina specifically is the place to be. Joe, Cherese, and Ivett were the most Pleasant of people providing service during my tour. And yes I got the perfect unit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! EVERRRR! It’ll be better & cheaper to have your things outside! They raised the rent just because.. they lie & say they contact you & that your phone service was off, They will quote you the wrong prices just to get you in the door! This has been THE WORST experience I’ve everrrrr had with any company! Also there is NEVERRRRR NO ONE at either Sharon Amity location! You have to set an appointment with customer service just to see someone in person! Save yourself some time & alot of money & go ANYWHEREEEE ELSE!

Our first experience using Public Storage was fantastic! Jo and the rest of the staff that we dealt with were extremely professional and helpful to my wife and I throughout our entire rental process. I stopped in to make a payment on a friends storage and although I am always treated very nice i was impressed with Jo helping another customer that seemed to be going through something. She was very compassionate she truly cares. I rented space online and it was super easy to do. Came to this location because of previous service Jo was still there and as friendly and helpful as ever. When I need space again and more than likely I will I will return to this location.

I, and my family, have been using this location for over fifteen years. I can honestly say, I (we've) never had any negative experiences with staff. Once, there was an issue beyond staff's control, where the ceiling fell in w/in the unit itself. But with Ms. Jo's help, always emphasizing the importance of insurance, the problem & transition was fixed smoothly & quickly. I was greeted with a smile and treated with kindness when entering the store. I was being assisted by two lovely women. Angelica and Joe were professional about the taking care of their customers. I watched and observed them while they were dealing with other customers. they both are amazing. Angelica make sure you understand everything. She goes over everything with you and gives you a clear understanding of it all. All in all, Angelica is the greatest.

I am getting absolutely fed up with the constant rate hikes almost every month, the first one I was ok with but now there’s been like 3-4 possibly more in the past year it’s ridiculous, for a tiny little space now over $200 a month. Can’t wait to find another place to use or for this money just buy my own storage building. Not happy.
