"Got a 7:40 PM appointment by 111 for consultation and X ray"
"Most efficient service from the kind receptionist and Peter who took a large amount of blood"
"Such kind and compasionate staff including a wonderful lady on reception who helped me with my mother in law (in quite a lot of pain) and a cancelled appointment"
"The phlebotomy department here is incredible"
I just want to say what great staff this hospital has. There was a lovely helpful young lady at the phlebotomy reception and the nurse who took my bloods was very kind and talkative. Similarly, the staff both on reception and in the ultrasound clinic were very approachable and caring. Thank you Purley! So much better than CUH!
Got a 7:40 PM appointment by 111 for consultation and X ray. When I reached there at 7:20 PM, no one was there to do the X ray. Lady at the reception also didn't help at all. Doctor & the receptionist were busy chatting insted of assisting a patient. Very bad experience.
Most efficient service from the kind receptionist and Peter who took a large amount of blood. It was painless and he was caring and very professional. This hospital service is an asset and shows the nhs at its very best no long waiting time. Thank you Purley Hospital.
Such kind and compasionate staff including a wonderful lady on reception who helped me with my mother in law (in quite a lot of pain) and a cancelled appointment. One nurse offered up their work room as it had a spare bed. A great experience.
The phlebotomy department here is incredible. Always so quick and efficient. I am someone that usually has issues with blood tests as my veins hide no matter how much water I drink etc and whenever I've had blood tests elsewhere I get stuck
I just back from my appointment in that hospital. That was worse appointment in my life. I waiting 8 months for my appointment and that was 3min. Appointment. Doctors don’t give my any chance to explain what happened with my skin. She’s not
Very bad service on the front desk for blood test. Came this morning and No one was there. I was waiting couple of minutes for girl who came behind the computer (No hello - nothing!! ) She was so rude and arrogant, I literally left without
Have been trying to ring the number given for gp initiated blood tests for three days. No one ever answers, there's no queuing system and you can't leave a message. You just get cut off after 20 or so rings. The main hospital reception are
My family member went to this hospital on 02/05/2023 for a blood test. The first blood test nurse was very rough and when asked for a butterfly needle she started an argument and asked my family member why a butterfly needle is requested
This is very convenient and the service is relatively quick, especially compared with Mayday Hospital. I went for an X-ray and it was done in 30 minutes, with a smooth process from checking in, waiting and being called. The car park is
What a friendly and professional service that I have always received from all the I have seen at the blood testing service and the x-ray department. Thank you all, and keep the good work up that you are doing at the NHS .
I have visited the dermatology department on two occasions. The doctor was so professional, giving great advice and explanation. Even offered follow up appointments. The care and service was excellent, very impressive!
Still on hold trying to book a blood test. Surely there must be some indication how long the queue is to speak to someone! Just “please hold, your call is important to us” for 40 minutes… not that important clearly!
Had a walk-in X-ray and blood test appointments. Came in by 9am and got both done in about 30 min. Friendly staff, very helpful but most importantly very effective. Thanks for your good and fast work.
I came on December 27th to do blood tests. Having a bit of fear of needles, I was quite nervous and the nurse was very kind, making me feel at ease and the blood sample was quick and painless.
The worst experience I ever had from the dermatology clinic I rang and informed that my appointment Iwill be 5mts late. The receptionist was so rude and said their number has been changed.
Attended with husband in wheelchair for 11.20 blood test.. We were there early. Huband also needed an X-ray Clerk on desk suggested we went to Xray to see if it could be fitted in early
Great service, just remember that you now have to book an appointment via 111 before you walk in or you may have a very long wait
First visit today. Everything was run so smoothly and I was really impressed when welcomed with a smile when I entered.
Well sign posted Easy to access by several busses. Polite and helpful staff
