This was my second time in Sydney and first time going up the Pylon Lookout. The entrance/pylon is located along the Sydney Harbour Bridge walk. The museum was pretty detailed and the displays within the pylon was fairly entertaining. The lookout itself cost $25 per adult and you walk around the periphery of the upper level. There is also a rest area in the centre of the pylon at the upper level away from the elements. The views were fairly good, although the outer pathway was tight but that would be a function of the original design, however the price is not worth for what you get, so the fact that we’ve visited once already, this will be a pass each time we return to Sydney.

Went with family of 4 (young kids). We came via the Rocks so had to navigate thru stairs and lift to reach the harbour sidewalk. I think it's the best way rather than following google map direction of coming via Milson point. Once there, amazing to learn the history of the construction of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the amazing views of the harbour and city. Actual location doesn't have pram store away so we just left tuck it away at the corner of the bridge. Good few hours of hours spent in the afternoon. Worth the entrance fee with kids.

A very good value attraction in Sydney. The views are amazing, not just of the bridge but the whole harbour. Its the perfect option if you either don't want to pay out for, or are too scared for the bridge climb. You can see the climbers from the lookout. The museum on the way out is very interesting. The only slight negative was the lighting is quite low so it was difficult to read some of the labels. Great experience though. Thank you.

Lots of stairs to access the pylon lookout but well worth it for the amazing view. On a clear day there are beautiful views all the way to the ocean, circular quay and darling harbour and the west. It was a little more expensive than we thought it would be at $25 for an adult, $16 for a concession. There are toilets available half way up. The video history at the end has captions which is great.

Great views over the city and the bay. The museum is small but informative and includes a good mix of reading material, videos, models etc. Staff are friendly. There is a small gift shop with restrooms. In my experience there is no need to book-- on a Saturday morning in May I had the museum and lookout almost to myself.

For 25$ the view is worth it!!! The museum is very informative and the gift shop has the best gift ideas ever! The entrance to the lookout is through a lift facing Glenmore restaurant. It's a short escape to the top 30 min-1hr if you take lots of pictures like me! Enjoye it this is a must do in Sydney

Recommend to buy a ticket and you can get a better view from here. The space is pretty tiny and I don’t like the glasses that is all around. Ticket price is reasonable if you’re not afraid of height, you can try another tour that can climb on the bridge which seems very cool.

If you want to view Sydney Harbour from the bridge this is a great spot. Cheaper than the bridge walk but also not cheap for the family. There are some history photos and info and a video playing at the top but it feels lame and could be alot better.

Much cheaper than the full bridge climb. Also, it's obviously much less strenuous and doesn't take 3 hours to complete. The 360 degree panoramic views are almost as good as the height difference negligible.
