I asked the pharmacist for advice on lozenges to take whilst breastfeeding. I purchased some incredibly expensive lozenges on her advice. Looked at the label a couple of days later only to find out that pregnant and lactating women are not advised to ingest them. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of knowledge! I trusted her expertise not to put my baby and myself in harms way, but she did just that! Will never being using this pharmacy again! RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Thank you for the apology. However I find it quite hard to believe it is genuine as you are implying that my previous review was not truthful. I am now even more concerned that as the owner of the pharmacy you are not taking this seriously. After looking into the potential side effects the lozenges could have on my baby I am extremely concerned that they were recommended. I actually questioned the recommendation as I was concerned about other common lozenge ingredients. After questioning your pharmacist she looked up both the ingredients I was concerned about in a folder and advised me they were safe. I understand that you cannot be necessarily responsible for your staffs actions. However you are responsible for your own and your complete dishonesty about the events in your reply is disgraceful at best. I did speak to your pharmacy assistant today who I have to say was a lot more concerned and emphatic than you (perhaps you should take some lessons from her on customer service). When speaking to her she offered for me to speak to the pharmacist and I declined. The reason for this was that I do not trust the advice that would have been given to me and have gained advice from a more trustworthy source (a doctor). I wish you all the best.

Best Pharmacy in Sydney! For over 10 years they team here have continually reduced my pharmacy costs and exceeded my expectations with their friendly and helpful service. Being the recipient of a double lung transplant and multiple bone marrow transplants my health condition is incredibly complex. My family and I have been well looked after by all the staff at Pymble Phamacy for many years. All the staff have gone out of their way to give us knowledgeable and friendly service. Now they are so well integrated with the medical and pathology center next door, it’s a wonderful community service for the whole family’s medical needs. What fabulous people, service and advice!
