Hail storm, April 13, 2019, NW San Antonio. Every possible vendor, contractor, and hustler was in our neighborhood looking for an easy dollar. Our metal roof had been replaced just a year ago, and the experience with the roofer was horrible. So, we were leary about hiring anyone. We did not want to go through the process again. My general contractor had a recommendation. One or two of the ones who knocked on the door seemed reputable. However, Quality Roofing Austin was recommended by an Austin solar company, Lighthouse Solar. 3 roofers were considered. Our experience this year with Quality Roofing was amazing. I rarely write online reviews, but I volunteered to do so in this case. Taylor with Quality Roofing Austin is a true Texan gentleman. He is true to his word. He answered every question, followed up in a timely manner, asked questions when he wasn't sure of our expectations. His crew walked the property every day to clean up. His price was fair and he worked with the insurance adjuster at every step along the way. For those of us at a certain age, we can be leery of younger, seemingly inexperienced business owners. Taylor is fluent in Spanish, speaks easily to older women who have no clue about roofing terminology and most importantly, he answered every question my husband had. His crew drove in from Austin every day, and they were here by 7:30 (a 90 minute drive without traffic). The whole crew was happy to answer any questions I had. His crew showed up when he said they would. The quality of the work is outstanding, at least from what my general contractor says. In addition, Taylor's company was able to install gutters. I've recommended Taylor to at least one neighbor. I will recommend him for any job, large or small. Taylor is a honest, hard working small business owner . Impressive in this day and age.

I am overall quite satisfied with the job Quality Roofing did on our roof. There were a few hiccups, mainly surrounding the subcontracted gutter installation, but for the most part they were responsive and professional. Our roof is beautiful, the price was fair, and installation was quick and they were very clean. The gutters...well. They didn't show up on the days/times they said they would, and I had to turn them away when they showed up late because I had just put the baby to sleep. After they were installed, the water ran all down one side, and not equally out of two downspouts. When we get strong rain this means my new rain barrel doesn't fill up at all, and the water pools under the other downspout and runs over our walkway. The gutter people came out again and did the BEST they could to repair the problem. They adjusted the level on the gutter as much as they could without it looking really bad (To the naked eye you can already see a drastic level change). They said it was due to how the roof was constructed. I really don't think there is anything either the gutter people or Quality Roofing could have done, but I really would have liked to have had a follow up and an apology that I wasn't 100% satisfied. After the gutter people told me there was nothing they could do, QR just sent the last payment invoice and never attempted to contact me about the state of my gutters. Oh well. I guess the rain barrel LOOKS nice even if it doesn't function.

Background story: Quality roofing installed a metal roof with a ridge vent in 2015 (under a previous owner). Fast forward to this year, when I discover that under the metal roof, the wood boards are supposed to have cut outs along the roof peak so that the air can actually vent up and out the attic. I inspected the attic and noticed that they only cut out a very small portion. I call the company to inspect and they are now under a new owner so my warranty was basically useless. The new owner (who did not oversee the initial work to my house) was very understanding and while he was under no obligation to fix this mistake, he honored the warranty and immediately got someone to my house to fix it (gave me pics and everything) at no charge to me. At the same time, I got a quote to fix a loose rafter (felt a little steep but we are in a time where everything is expensive and my attic crawl space is tight). I was in a time crunch because I was getting a new a/c installed but they worked within my time frame and fixed it before my a/c install. I was pretty annoyed with this ordeal but it seems that under the new ownership, they are focused on doing the job right. The crew worked efficiently and was respectful of my property and my dogs. The workers do not speak English well but the owner is fluent in Spanish and was able to do the translating (over the phone) when needed. The owner is very responsive and was very good about addressing all my concerns.

Our roof suffered extensive damage during the May storm that swept through the area. Quality Roofing quickly responded to my request for an inspection and bid on the project. Their team handled every aspect of the repair including the roof, the gutters, the staining and refinishing of our deck and fence as well as the window screens. I cannot emphasize enough what a blessing it was to have only one person to contact to make arrangements or ask questions and not have to juggle a list of contractors. My husband was overseas at the time and we had never made a claim on our homeowners insurance. I was overwhelmed at the prospect of managing a roofing project and making an automobile claim all while virtual schooling in the midst of a pandemic as a solo parent of three. Taylor walked me through the process and even dealt directly with the insurance company to increase the payout to complete the items the insurance company’s appraiser had under valued. Our project manager was an excellent communicator and kept me updated every step of the way. The roofers even worked over the 4th of July holiday to complete our project on time. I greatly appreciated the Quality Roofing team’s communication and thoroughness. They did an outstanding job restoring my home’s exterior. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and fully believe they provide an excellent product at a reasonable cost and most importantly, they are trustworthy.

Quality Roofing and Taylor Yarbrough were excellent to work with from start to finish. We got 3 estimates and Taylor was by far the most thorough in the initial assessment, generous with his time and explanations. He pointed out several problem areas at the initial visit, so the estimate was accurate, detailed, and true to actual final cost. His crew was professional and efficient and did a thorough cleanup at completion. They were respectful of our home and landscaping, taking thoughtful precautionary measures to prevent damage. Taylor was personally on-site for a large part of the installation, monitoring for any problem areas and communicating precisely and effectively the specifics of the job to the crew. The install date was challenging due to a rainy weather cycle, but there was absolutely no pressure to try to sneak the job in on a might-be-ok weather day. We had several areas where fascia boards needed repairing, and the gutters in these areas were successfully removed and reinstalled (with proper slope) to facilitate these repairs and not incur the cost of all-new gutters. The carpentry work on the fascias was precise. After the install there was another thorough final inspection. Throughout the process the communication was prompt, efficient, and informative. The end result was a high-quality job and a well-informed and satisfied customer.

Update 8/9: The owner called and apologized for the lack of communication. He sent Josh (who's really great; he's friendly and seems very knowledgeable) out with a helper to change out our vent. It really sounds like they'd lost a key employee and hired another right when I was trying to get a hold of them, which is why I got lost in the shuffle. _______________________________________________ We used Quality roofing for a new roof in December of 2019, then had them come back out in 2021 to put in some ridge and soffit vents. We think they did a good job both times. However, we've had a leak through one of our penetrations in the roof and had a hard time getting them to come out to do warranty work. They came out a few months ago and worked on it, but it's still leaking. Since then I've called 3 times over the last two weeks and no one has responded. Each time they say sorry, someone will call or be out to look at it in the next day or two, but no call back, and no one comes out. They have LOTS of good reviews, but the company seems to be very different now than it has been in the past. I'd be a little wary of calling them if I had a new roof to put on now. I understand that they're shorthanded, but a company should really stand behind their work better than this...

I worked with Josh and Taylor at Quality Roofing, what a first class operation. I have a very steep and high roof covered with solar panels. I have a small leak from a sky light that is in between those panels. I must've contacted a dozen roofing companies and warned that there's no need for them to come by unless they're bringing a 40' ladder or harnesses. They all came, immediately agreed they couldn't get up there and majority of them never returned. Josh came over with a Mavic drone and spent a good 30 minutes flying it around taking dozens of photos. He prepared them into a report which was easy to read. The quoted cost for the repair was extremely low compared to others. Also, rather than quote full replacement of the flashing or skylight, they proposed the least expensive solution and to fully test it first. They easily could've quoted the more expensive work, but they didn't, they pushed the most conservative approach and if needed after testing we could do the full replacement. Throughout the process, the communication was excellent and professional. This is definitely a top notch outfit, and they'll be one of my first calls for future roof work!

Our roof was installed in 2011, which was during a historic drought. The drought didn't break for some time afterwards. Coincidentally, when it did, we discovered a leak from the ceiling. My husband called Quality Roofing, concerned about the roof penetration just above where the leak was happening. The vent didn't seem to be installed properly and there was no boot around it. Quality Roofing blamed the leak on the headwall and decreed their roof installation correct, but "repaired" it anyway. Lo and behold, on tearing out the ceiling, my husband saw daylight. Through the roof penetration. The headwall was fine. He contacted Quality Roofing, which is now apparently a new company with coincidentally the exact same business name and personnel. They've been giving him a runaround for a couple of weeks. We don't have time for this. Nobody does. You can see in the pictures how they handled the penetrations. Some are right through the seam. None of them have boots, just sealant globbed on around the edges. And yes, that is daylight where the vent goes out.

Erik was amazing to work with. Very through He answered every random question I was able to come up with after meeting and even came back a 2nd time to show me my concerns and take the time to put together multiple plans to improve the heat that was getting trapped into my attic. They put me at ease and was reasonable in pricing. I also had the siding being replaced at the same time and their foreman Christopher was very accommodating with scheduling even during the crazy busy season after the insane hailstorm. I had skylights put in months later down the road. I could not find any left over architectural shingles that would match the color of the new roof due to supply shortage. I was able to then turn to Erik to ask them if they had any spare in their warehouse they would allow me to purchase off them. Not only did they not charge me they even delivered them to me. They really treated me well and I feel very comfortable recommending this company to anyone that is on the fence with using this company.

Over the course of several months we experienced multiple roof leaks, leading to a series of less than satisfactory experiences with various roofing companies. When we ultimately decided to move forward with replacing our whole roof we struggled with finding a company that seemed honest, trustworthy, and responsive. Quality Roofing checked all of those boxes for us. From the initial inspection to the completion of our project, they were great to work with. When Josh came out to inspect our roof initially, I truly felt like he listened to all of our concerns, answered all of our questions, and was able to clearly show us what the issues were with our roof. No other company was nearly as thorough! Once we scheduled the project, our project manager Christopher was great with staying in communication with us from start to finish. We are so pleased that we chose Quality Roofing for our new roof, and we highly recommend them!

The Quality Roofing crew arrived as scheduled and worked until dark. They repaired and replaced the membrane roof of my carport. In addition Quality Roofing replaced rotted wood of the carport ceiling. I asked them to inspect the membrane on another section of the house--a section of the same age but with no visible issues. It had suffered the same deterioration but damage had not reached the interior. They measured, procured the needed material ASAP and remedied the new issues they found as an extension of the original work order. The crew documents the problems with detailed photographs for your inspection before approval of a proposal. At completion of the job they document their work with additional photographs. We have owned five houses in five cities; each house has required roof repair or replacement. I am of the opinion that you will not find a better roofing company than Quality Roofing.

I didn't know what to expect from a roofing company, but Darrell at Quality Roofing has set the standard very high. From the beginning, Darrell communicated with us often and with kindness and professionalism. He's been with us during the entire journey, including coming out to during the claims assessment to make sure our insurance company didn't miss an inch of damage. Other than feeling really comfortable working with Darrell and Quality Roofing, we've been able to trust them the whole way. Because they've explained the process and their recommendations, line by line, every step of the way, we know we picked the best company. I cannot recommend Quality Roofing and Darrell enough! Truly, words are not enough. Getting our roof replaced has been the easiest process. You won't find more trustworthy and compassionate people anywhere else.

We recently had Quality Roofing do a full replacement on our 25 year old roof. They were one of three companies recommended to us by our State Farm agent as a highly experienced and reputable company. They provided a better overall package at a lower cost than any of the other contractors we spoke to. We were extremely happy with the roofing crew and their attention to detail and quality through the entire installation. There were several other roofing companies working in our neighborhood at the same time and it was very noticeable how much more care and attention the Quality crew put into our roof. We were also extremely happy with the care they took in protecting the plants, decking and pool and then cleaning up afterwards. Not a single nail, shingle or felt piece ended up in the pool. We highly recommend them.

I needed a full roof replacement after the 4/15/21 hail storm in Texas. Eric Stidham and the Quality Roofing Austin team were great. They were easy to work with, responsive, polite, insured, and even cleaned up my yard using a magnet after replacing the roof so there were no stray nails left to stumble upon. And here is the most important part: They gave me their roof replacement quote PRIOR to knowing what my homeowner's insurance would pay, unlike competitors who tried to insist upon knowing what my insurance company would pay before providing a quote. Quality Roofing's replacement quote was very close to what the insurance estimated. The company is ethical and honest, and they will be my first call if I ever need roof damage repaired again.

We solicited bids for a new composition shingle roof from three separate Austin area roofing companies, and Quality Roofing submitted the most cost effective approach of all. We had a couple minor hiccups throughout the process, but our Sales representative, Tyler Taunton, saved the day for both me the customer, and for the company, Quality Roofing. Tyler stepped-up to the plate in the 9th inning of the re-roofing process and made things good again. With personnel like Tyler in the field who care about the customer's needs and requirements, Quality Roofing will continue to be a company you can come to rely on. Josh with Quality roofing came out to our house the day after a Hail storm swept through our neighborhood and quickly got our estimate to us. Once we got our insurance $ Quality Roofing kept us informed on the status of materials and made prompt notifications when they would be delivered The work crew they sent out worked quickly and even stayed until dark due to the original roof having an insane amount of nails per roof shingle strip for some known ridiculous reason. The crew worked diligently to get the old shingles off the first day and was respectful of a time that worked for our family when coming back the next morning. Overall great roofing company will definitely use them again anytime we need roof service

I hired Quality Roofing to find and fix leaks in a metal roof that had leaked for 15 years. The installing company had come out many, many times but never fixed it; they finally just stopped returning my calls. Quality came out several times, listened carefully to my concerns, and answered all my questions over a period of months as I considered hiring them. Quality investigated carefully and devised a plan to resolve the leaks; the problem was far more complicated than anticipated. The work was carried out competently and professionally, and on time. I would not hesitate to contact Quality for any roof repair. I can finally go out of town without placing tarps on the living room floor to catch rain leaks!

Mr. Yarbrough showed up on schedule and presented a professional, well groomed appearance. He kept his social distance. I told him that the job would go to the lowest bidder. He gave me a preliminary estimate that fell into what I had hoped for. The work began within a few days, and was completed in a day and a half. Mr. Yarbrough came the next day and inspected the roof, finding just a few minor imperfections not up to his professional standards. These were soon corrected. He reinspected the final job. I am very satisfied with the appearance of my new roof and all the new ventilation vents. In summary, I chose Austin Quality Roofing because of the comfortable positive impression I got from Mr. Yarbrough.

Cannot recommend Taylor and his team enough. We had them install a solar attic fan on our existing standing seam copper roof. They were extremely thorough in the prelim evaluation, had excellent follow up communication, and even took the load off of us to coordinate directly with our fan provider on the tricky install details. The day of the install the team was exactly on time, and Taylor arrived with them to talk us thru the plan, make sure there were no issues, and reviewed the finish out before they left. They also sent drone photos of everything for our records. In a time when you have to chase people down for weeks just to get a call-back -- Quality Roofing is an absolutely standout provider.

My wife and I are co-owners of Ma Maison - a wedding venue in Dripping Springs, Texas. We contacted Quality Roofing to replace a roof over our trellis that was leaking due to a poor choice of materials by our original contractor. Joseph came out to our site and provided us a reasonable bid to remove the previous roof and replace it with a metal roof. We were given choices of colors and style. His crew did an excellent job of completing the project in a timely fashion and more importantly cleaning up any debris on the site. This was important as we were having the work done between weddings scheduled each weekend. Cannot say how pleased we are with the final product. Would recommend them highly.

We worked with Taylor on our roof repair for leaks around a poorly installed porch and our fireplace. He was great at communicating the issues, what was needed to fix them, and possible issues that could come after opening up the roof. He was always prompt with responses to any questions and on time to appointments. Our installer Arturo and his team were also fantastic. Quality Roofing did a great job right from my first interaction. Paul was super responsive, and helped me navigate and insurance claim that I couldn’t understand. They were super efficient day of (I cannot believe a roof replacement can be done in one day!) and they were extremely professional when my neighbor came out yelling at them for the noise during the daytime hours - after 8am and done before 6! How can a roof replacement be quiet?! Anyways, would highly recommend Quality Roofing to any of my friends so I’m here to recommend them to you :)

We used Quality Roofing Austin in 2021 for a roof replacement due to hail damage. Quality Roofing was responsive, quick, and high quality. They worked with us and submitted paperwork to our insurance carrier. They helped us - and did extensive investigation - to find a custom shingle color. They even came back for minor repairs at a later date to make sure that we were completely happy with the finished product. They were very customer-centric and I would highly recommend their service, and would certainly use them again in the future, if needed.

If I could rate a zero I would. I had the WORST EXPERIENCE ever with the phone receptionist last week... Wednesday or Thursday I believe! She was absolutely NO HELP at all, did not have any roofing knowledge whatsoever! Must've been having a bad day possibly but no reason to take these actions out on a customer? And to top it off she hung up on me, I called back and there was no answer. I was really quite excited to get some work done at my home... But I've had to take my business elsewhere... Wouldn't recommend due to this incident...

On the schedule, the crew was prompt, efficient, courteous and professional. Josh was always immediately accessible by phone and he checked in regularly during the project. I've used Quality Roofing multiple times and I was impressed each time. First, Taylor patiently walked me through options for gutters. The install was quick and painless. They even held up during the major ice storm in Feb 2021! Quality Roofing has also made a few emergency visits to my house to fix roofing leaks. Highly recommend! My wife and I completed a large remodel of our 15 year old home and the roof was one of the things on the list. Hired Quality Roofing and they did a phenomenal job! They replaced the roof on the main house, as well as our back house and a small shed. We have needed gutters for years and they were able to do that too. Quality Roofing replaced a hail damaged composition shingle roof with a more durable metal roof and we were happy with the installation and the result. We have solar panels and wanted to make sure to coordinate the metal roof and solar installation. Our solar panel installer had worked with Quality Roofing before and recommended the company. Everything worked out great and hopefully this roof will survive the next hailstorm.

I phone interviewed with this company. Cant remember exactly who it was that I spoke with. However what I do remember is that He was honestly surprised that I was fluent in Spanish. He questioned “if my family and I were born in the states.” I found it quite inappropriate and even with roofing sales and project management experience, I definitely would not want to work for a company so unprofessional.

Quality Roofing Austin did a great job replacing my roof. I had raccoon damage and the Insurance company only wanted to patch the hole, but the QRA rep explained there was also hail damage and worked with my insurance company to have the whole roof replaced. Quality Roofing was great. I'm writing this review several years after my new roof was installed (sorry for the delay). What's important to note is that they were reasonably priced. They did the job correctly and my roof has been through several monster storms and all is well. I'm actually glad I'm writing t this now as it's held up so well.

Quality installed a standing seam metal roof on our home, late 2013. I am still (2017) thrilled with the results. They tore off the old shingles, and it was the cleanest contractor job I've ever seen. The new roof had some VERY tricky spots, and the crew leader was a master at his craft. 100% satisfied.

Unfortunately this original company was bought out and the new owners DO NOT COVER THE ORIGINAL WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY!!! Shame on you!! If you had a roof installed less than 10 yrs ago, the new owners will provide every excuse under Satan to void the original contract. Stay away from this company
