Arlene and Williams supposed supervisors from cash bonds office need to be fired- they are both running on an ego trip. Listening is fundamental and can take you a long way- which is the basic requirements to communicate respectfully and effectively with one another. They were both making sarcastic comments to an elderly 83 year old woman that is retired;- asked her how come she was the only one paying? Which is absolutely none of their business. Unfortunately, the people that are hired at these kind of jobs live very miserable lives at home and it shows the moment they clock in t. They said loud and clear to leave for the people coming in for their next shift. Totally unprofessional. The two ladies who came for the evening shift were absolute angels and educated- no issues about the payment and were very thorough helping us out. Thanks for sending us back for a second time. We had people that actually understood what they were doing and genuinely wanted to help.
This court is TERRIBLE.! You can’t even call and find out information because no one picks up the phone .! Not 1 unit in the building had answered. They just let there phones ring and ring away just crazy .! And Very Unprofessional ♀️ Since 2-230 the been from 114 percent to central booking (Queens) and still waiting on a release on a falsely arrested African American. SHOULDNT TAKE ANOTHER 2 HOURS AFTER SAYING 45 mins -1hr . (Been here faithfully for 12hrs between the percent and the court !) And I’ve been on the phone for 25 plus mins . A lady answered and said “Hold On My Other Phone Is Ringing .” And never came back to the phone . . NEW YORK CITY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER AND RETRAIN OFFICERS TO ACTUALLY DO THEY JOB .!! #internal-affairs I have a law enforcement family background and the NYC system is definitely corrupt making up FALSE WARRANTS .
It's an old court building that's kept in reasonably good shape. All the elevators work. There's an nice vending area just down the hall from the front entrance. If you are a member of the general public be prepared to wait outside as the line to enter and go through the metal detectors can get long at 9: 30 a.m. when Court starts. Air conditioning when it's hot never seems enough. Parking in the neighborhood can be a nightmare as they tore down the municipal lot behind the court a couple years ago and are currently building its replacement. Best to come on public transportation to get there. Otherwise plan on parking in one of several parking lots on the side streets across Queens Boulevard. Night arraignments can go until 1 a.m. and use the entrance on the front of the building on the right.
I am an attorney, representing a client on several cases. I have tried for over a week to get in touch with the Central Clerk's office to learn of the status of my client's cases. Because the e-courts calendar indicated one of the cases was on for hearing on August 11, 2020, I was forced to waste over 3 hours traveling to the Courthouse only to learn it was closed. My client and I were prevented from entering the Courthouse and from seeing the docket sheet for August 11th. The next day, August 12, 2020 the case disappeared off the e-courts platform. I've been unable to reach anyone about the status of my client's cases.
My uncle had a court date so I was able to sit in and watch The proceedings of AP2. The judge came off as either fair or easy for the day, was interesting to see the dialogue pertaining to the “cash bail reform “ laws. There was a lawyer named Tom, and I have to say outstanding lawyer, definitely on top of his game. The only star reduction was for some people there, came and argued even after they recieved what seemed like leniency. The process of one door to the next, and then to another seemed kinda outdated. Good luck with parking, there is next to none within A 5-6 block radius.
Horrible food I mean cheese sandwich with mayo or a peanut butter and honey sandwich........what happened to the good old jelly. Anyway staff is nice a accommodating they can be rude if you tell them how they can do there job better. Anyway they have a on site medical professional available 24/7 so that's a plus and they also have a toilet and sink in every room and as much toliet paper as you want. Overall I would visit again and next time I'll opt for a longer stay.
I called regarding my boyfriend/babyfadther. I'm pregnant with his child rn and mother to his first born and they told me that I can't be receiving calls from him and i was told by someone he will be seen and someone else said he won't. The District Attorney Supervisor is disrespectful. I never gave her attitude and remained calm but she is a horrible individual and very hostile.
In my two-hour visit, I realized that the place needs more signs to direct visitors, and the ones that are available need to be more visible. Inside, they need to provide a front desk after the security point to help people who are confused with the destination, that's all. The good thing is that the location offers free parking and respectful friendly security officers.
My tax dollars are being used to hire people who look miserable and can't even speak to anyone properly. I came here to do an assignment for class, and I was extremely disappointed in the racism I felt in this place. A place of law, where the highest prestige of our laws should be followed. Yet I sense racism in such place that holds high prestige!
The Court is located in Kew Gardens. If you are coming here, be prepared to pass through a check point. Leave unnecessary things at home which you do not need. Q10 and Q60 buses are nearby along with the E and F Trains. Parking space is hard to find during the week. This is a heavy traffic area so give yourself plenty extra time to reach here.
Security sucks! Waiting for DAV. No knowledge and ignorant Staffing . Was told to wait outside of main lobby by another ill-informed security member. Pitiful excuse for customer service. This is how US veterans get treated. I would not come anywhere near this facility or staff unless its 100% necessary. Please fire all current security!
Not a good place to be for anything, or anyone, they are the absolute worst people, and worst place to be.I you know better try to avoid that place by all means .know one answers your calls there.do to covid you can't get any paper work or any information.
yo 50 do u remember that buck got arrested in 2010 than he game out I know where tony yayo is I actually do let me go holla at him for a minute since buck money we have to free buck just one problem i can't got it a peace dont worried about it
Whats the point of jury duty if they make you sit in the hallway with 100 other people not being accommodated or attended too. You are not allowed to eat or drink and it is nothing but bitter silence. I sat in a very hallway from 9 am to 4
Just hope that you never have to serve jury duty here. For the last week I’ve been instructed to report at a certain time, but then I’m made to sit in a cramped hallway with a bunch of other people for multiple HOURS before they even
I love the way the court was set up The court officer was always nice to Me, his boss the same, this not my first time, l was at a court house serving as a juror, what a judge. Thank You!!!! Iris Mazariegos
It is a busy, big city criminal courthouse It has judges (people in black robes, usually sitting on the highest seat, against the back wall, in a very tall-ceilinged room, with lots of parallel wooden
If I could give it no stars I would, I guess they pay them to sit and do nothing because nobody answers the phone been calling all day it’s terrible service workers need to be fired for the laziness
Tried to get a link for my virtual hearing they did not let me in they told me to go to my lawyer but my lawyer was unavailable I hope I don’t get in trouble the courthouse workers don’t help
My experience here was very pleasant. The clerks and security were very courteous and professional. The best news is that no jurors were needed. …
staff is super rude and doesn’t like to be of any assistance. Took 2 days to get paper work processed and to see a judge with no answer back on updates or status.
Appointment was 9:30 am waited 3 hours on the line standing. Only to wait a little longer only to plead A simple violation that was wrongly issued from the start.
Waiting here from 10 am and it’s almost 1 pm to pay my summons and cashiers aren’t that busy i don’t even know how many more hours I’m going to be stuck here
Sucks. All the cashier are talking, gossiping about their personal daily life and they don't care people standing on the line.
The court is not in session until 9:30 am. The court is at break from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Leave all electronics & keys at home.
The ADAs work extremely hard and it’s clear that they need to given a break. They don’t get enough credit. Do better.
At least they wifi. Since they lock you in the place, some better food options would be nice inside the building.
No one picks up... smh... trying to figure out when they go to lunch so I dont have to stand outside for hours.
They service are real slow they need people who faster on they feet i would never want to work their in my life
Theirs alot of people that like to sit outside and try to cause trouble non-verblely. strange.
County clerk is a breeze to get all business paperwork compelteled. Thank you for your help
I think every citizen should visit here at least once to see how our justice system works.
My visit was pertaining to an X, hated going...but my experience of the Court was okay...
Miss the old ap-6 crew, they were the best. Especially the tall handsome officer!
Congratulations on having someone incredibly Well tempered to deal with crime.
Unorganized, I think sums it up! Half the people who work there are clueless!
Ive been waiting for 30 min and still no one has picked up the phone yet.
came here for jury duty, security line gets really long after lunch break
Worst place ever I HAD A SUMMON AND IT HAD NO ADRESS TO GO TO THE COURT
Looks new and modern on the inside, but I'd actually quite old.
I have been calling for days with no one answering.
Nothing is changed.. Still like in 19th century..
Didn't have a good time. Wasted my valuable time.
They don’t pick up your call when you call them
Trash place don't know how to do their job
They close early then the hours posted.
Got exempt from serving jury duty.
They wont let me out my cell
Very good cort
really helpful
