Avoid this laundromat. While it does have a good selection of washing machines and they are priced appropriately, the good news stops there. I hardly know where to begin with the negatives. (1) It is expensive to dry clothes. The dryers cost $1 for 15 minutes (you can't buy less time) and apparently the heat is set low (I chose the hottest setting) so that one, normal cotton/acrylic blanket was still not fully dry after spending $2 on a dryer in which it was the only thing being dried. (2) It's the only laundromat I have seen that charges you to get change. They levy a 50 cent fee to get change for a $10 bill. (3) Today it was infested with what I assume were gnats. There were thousands of dead gnats on the floor when I walked in. There were hundreds more flying about -- getting on me, on my clothes, in my laundry basket. Anything you set down had dozens of gnats on it within a minute or two. I have been to many laundromats in Toronto, and this is the only one I would never visit again.
My mother lives around the block and needed some larger machines to wash some sheets. Not being used to using a laundromat, she had thought that a bottle of bleach left by the front was free to use, so she she used a bit for a single load. Immediately the manager or owner of the place confronted her about it, to which she apologized and had explained she didn't know and it was an honest mistake, and that she is happy to pay for the bleach she used. The manager/owner continued to accost her rudely even after explaining herself, and even brought over another employee to yell at my mother. My mother was visibly shaken and left some extra money at the desk, but needless to say this is not how any business should handle customer service, and we will never be using this business again.
I had an amazing experience with this laundromat. First of all, I called to ask about the capacity of the washers, and the person I spoke with was knowledgeable. When I went in, I found the place sparkling clean (thank god bc the rug I was washing was super heavy and dragged on the floor ) and the staff pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I was directed to the large capacity area and the machines were clean, worked well, and were easy to figure out. The coffee shop directly across the street (pilot coffee) was a perfect place to wait for my laundry, and when done the staff helped me fold up my freshly washed and dried rug. I am looking forward to my next rug wash day so I can do it all again!
So I been going to laundry mats for quite some time now. I decided to try somewhere different. I couldn't believe my eye of how small these washer and dyers were! This place is ridiculous EXPENSIVE for the size of washing machines they have. Tiny washe priced at 3.00 Small washer Priced at 5.50 Medium washer priced at 7.00 Slightly bigger Medium size 10.00!!! My pervious before coming to Quick Clean. For small wash is normally 2.25 Medium 4.00 Large 5.50 My advise there are other coin laundry mats that are much better size in price if you ask me. I reccomend looking else where and save your money!!!
Been going here for a year and until today, I was completely satisfied by this place. I payed for 2 machine loads of laundry and when I came back to put into the dryer, one of the machines did not run. I asked to have $5 credited to another machine and was immediately blamed for not running it. I know I payed and pressed start... They immediately shut me down and refused to credit me, sighting that I did not press start. It's not about the money as much as the rude way they went right to blame. The opposite of customer service. That's the last time I will come here.
We were trying to look for change in order to use the laundry machine but one of the employees couldn’t help but overhear so she insisted we give her our cash in order to get change (converted to Canadian currency or so we thought) only to realize she kept extra money we were still owed from American currency rather than tell us that there’s an ATM around the corner. Overall the laundromat is a nice setting with working machines with flexible hours but if you do need change go the mart around the corner to get change from the ATM then convert it. Lesson learned.
This place is awesome! Jabin and the rest of the staff are delightful and friendly, always ready to help or answer questions. And when I went in with a fatally stained suit I had almost lost hope for, they were able to arrange dry cleaning for me and turned it around surprisingly quick! Also, Queenie, the seamstress who shares the location, is a gas! Lovely woman and whiz with a needle. She repaired the lining of a vintage wool coat of mine for a very reasonable price and had it back to me in a few days looking good as new.
Went there for the first time a couple days ago and I am not impressed. I checked a couple machines and they smelled very musty so I found one that seemed ok; however, everything I washed now has a faint sour / musty smell even after machine drying and airing out for a couple days. I hope this was a one time problem as it is very conveniently located for me and I might end up needing to go there again but unless they start regularly cleaning / sanitation of the equipment, I can’t recommend it
My Airbnb was round the corner and we were all out of clean clothes (family of three). I arrived with my own detergent and plenty of change. The place was clean. Lots of machines available. Nice big machines, good prices. I put my wash on. No one bothered me. Went for a coffee (good coffee shop across the road Pilot Coffee Roasters). Sat outside. Then transferred my wash into the dryer. Again, no hassle. Everything you need in a laundromat. Thanks.
went there 10 minutes before closing to grab my stuff and the door was locked .. Considering my sons clothes and bedding were in there and all of my stuff, I'm thoroughly pissed off. Considering they like to close early while peoples laundry is still drying, there should be an emergency number.. now i have to worry about my sons stuff and my own stuff being stolen. Thanks for that!
Quick clean laundry centre is by far the best laundromat I have ever used. Clean, friendly staff, huge washers. Always an awesome experience. In addition, they look after their equipment, so you an always be sure that the most amount of machines are available. I've even used their wash and fold service when I was too busy to do it myself. Super reasonable. Highly recommend!
Super helpful staff. I was having trouble finding a 6 load washer to wash large sleeping bags. This place has several. And to top it all off this place is where ‘Queeny’ is. She’s been reviewed as the Alteration-ist Extrodinaire!
Went to Quick Clean tonight and it was a really good experience - well as much as laundry can be (lol). Clean, good machines and didn't take very long for the massive amount of laundry I had. Thanks.
I came here to have my suit taken out a little. The lady behind the counter took a look, puffed out her cheeks and shook her head. "You need to lose some weight." Sick burn. 8 out of 5 stars.
Not having laundry at home sucks so finding a laundromat that is clean, has lots of (working!) machines and friendly, helpful staff is great. I go out of my way to go to this one.
This is by the far the best laundromat in the city. And they also have fluff and fold services. The ladies that work here are amazing and the machines are always so clean.
This place is very spacious, clean and well taken care of. Fair prices, big tables and large rolly things to transport your laundry. It's a pleasure doing my laundry here.
Chinese lady who work at the back is very rude. Didnt help us with our problems, she kept laughing at us. Rude never go back. Do not recommend
Today I hurt my hand trying to open wash machine num 16. It seems there is no maintenance lately or nobody complained about it.
Me encanta venir a lavar la ropa aquí, la gente es súper amable, especialmente la señora que arregla la ropa.
It got the job done. The lady was looking at me like I was there to steal clothes. Didn't like that
Great place, lot's of machines and well maintained. Also has alterations and dry cleaning onsite.
