We visited here without booking tickets, I'd definite would recommend to do so in advance, but after a short wait we entered the 'quirky quarter'. I would say it's quite similar to Camera Obscura in Edinburgh but not the same but the illusions and interactive exhibitions made it a really good 60-90mins worth of fun. Both me and my two kids (6+10) really enjoyed it and the staff on entrance and in the quarter were extremely helpful. A great place to visit whilst in Liverpool.

Not really sure what everyone else is so hyped about. The first bit was fun and that set my expectations up, however after that it was all frankly pretty dull. The chair scene that everyone posts is great, and the room where people look different sizes. But mostly this place just has pictures of all the optical illusions you've seen in books before. Most annoyingly, there is no explanation for how any of it works on your brain etc. The very end bit was great fun. Overall though, for the price of tickets it is not worth it.
Lovely little place to visit if your in Liverpool! Fun little tasks, staff are helpful and get some amazing photos for you, the lady on front desk is funny and welcoming, the place is clean and quirky. It only takes about an hour to get round the whole thing so take your time and enjoy it. We paid online on the day I believe £30 for 2 people.

Absolute loved it here. Everything about this place is amazing. The two girls on duty were really friendly and helpful. They are both a credit to the team. They even took our coats from the hook and dried them out for us. How kind is that. Yes I really recommend visiting here.

Fun place full of quirky illusions which last about an hour to get around. There's a few room scenarios set up to make it look like your on the roof or floating, or a giant chair you can stand on (which isn't actually a giant chair)
