What seemed like THE cafe serving authentic South Indian filter coffee right in the heart of the glutonny Ghatkopar, turned out to be bad in reality. Here is why 1. During my second visit I ordered Idli-wada plate and filter coffee. They served me COLD idli despite my requesting that I would like steamed Idli. That was NOT ALL. When I voiced my concern to the manager (dark, bearded fellow manning the counter where coupons are dispensed) he replied sarcastically. I told him "idli garam NAHI HAI". HE MADE A FACE, TOUCHED THE IDLI, QUESTIONED ME SARCASTICALLY, "IDLI GARAM NAHI HAI?" and brought me a new one, which was COLDER THAN the one I ate. I was like WOW great customer service!!! 2. There were NO WATER bottles for patrons to drink water from. When I asked for water one of the waiters replenished the ONLY bottle behind the counter BUT IN STEAD of handing it to me, gave it to ONE. of his co-workers. And there I was waiting for water to be served! Once again WORST service. 3. One would think the food would be tasty enough to compensate for BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, but very honestly the food quality too is QUITE DISAPPOINTING! All in all WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

I ordered Ukala for 30 pacs (home delivery at 5pm in thermos) and informed about "mundan function" in home. Everything is agreed prior to payment. I paid online believing their services for 10 years in tilaknagar. Shocked me, delivery boy came at 5.30pm (after 3/4 follow up calls) with Ukala in plastic pouches. Already my guests arrived and waiting for Ukala for 1/2 hours. Its a disgusting, awkward, shameful situation.....how can I say to guests, get Ukala from pouches? Really its a shameful situation created by RS Mani.....said "we are sorry for delayed delivery and pouches" Does their sorry useful in front of my 15/20 guests? If they can't deliver, they should have curtsy to say we can't, I could have managed somewhere else....... I found, prior to establishment of business one will deliver services like a heaven but after established its like a hell......one should note of these services from RS Mani, tilaknagar

We ordered two dosas , Rava Onion and Ghee Podi. The dosas were tasty and they gave us three different chutnies with Sambar, all of which tasted well. The filter coffee was decent but could have been stronger based on my personal taste. The only disadvantage is that the place does not have a formal seating arrangement therefore you will need to adjust if it is crowded. Summary: definately visit if you crave for food South Indian food.

Hi R S Mani Cafe was inaugurated in Ghatkopar few months back and being I was fond of sounth indian food I was very happy as I used to go to Matunga for authentic south india food. Initially it was real taste and good flavour , idli were even good in the evening but today on 4/11/21 we had breakfast at ghatkopar and feel it's cruel waste of money. The taste was pathetic, idli was looking filthy or of last night, and now I feel they have started compromising on many things. I had tried 2 time before I wrote this review and yes now taste of Manis is not good, management pl look into otherwise you will be also struggling to find customer Do not leave your authenticity

When this started I was totally impressed by the quality, quantity and price of the food. I was a regular and usually used to take away rather than eat there. Thier idlis and medu wadas are simply amazing even now. But now especially in parcel they don't give enough chatni and sambhar even despite requesting multiple times. Taking off 2 stars for this. Because of this I have reduced my frequency of visits here

RS Mani are South Indian legends in Mumbai and this humble spot is nothing different. The dosas are fantastic which stay crisp for long time despite the aloo inside. The service is quick and staff is polite as well. Their rightly renowned for their filter coffee and you most certainly shouldn't miss it! They can improve on their seating but the prices are economical so I don't mind. Must try!

Overpriced food. They don't know how to make a popular South Indian dish "Appam" properly. Best to avoid this place if you want good South Indian food. This place has advantage of location, that traps pedestrians. Don't fall for the trap.

This putlet is not really great! The sambhar was subpar. Have tasted better sambhar from street vendors. The wada was good though. Seems popular because a lot of people are there at peak hours but the quality is definitely not worth the price. Didn't expect this from the brand name.

Ordered idli and butter masala dosa their rates are higher i.e 100 rupees for dosa but quality is bad idli was sour and dosa was under cooked . Sambhar and white chutney are also bed in taste. Tamatar chutney was only good Just avoid it

They use the same utensils for jain - non jain food . The person who makes the dosas doesn't know what is jain and non jain , they give non jain dosas on Jain order and argue for not clearly telling them .
